Embellishments in Midnight are fairly straightforward and their differences come down to tuning; we're simply picking the biggest impact Embellishments on the lowest impact slots.

Omnium Folio Powers for Assassination Rogue in Midnight

The Omnium Folio is a system available to players throughout the rest of the Midnight expansion, granting additional power through repeated enhancements to a Core Rune. Available as an icon on the mini-map, this ancient artifact will accompany you everywhere you go, and is able to be changed at any time outside of combat. Upgrades are earned weekly through a quest from Magister Umbric and Grand Magister Rommath.

For Assassination Rogue, the best Omnium Folio setup is:

Our best dagger, with a special effect
Our best in slot on-use trinket
The only neck with a special effect
Once there is cleave/aoe in any raid fight or mythic+ pull, this trinket pulls ahead and becomes our best in slot. Make sure you are casting it during Lauernde Dunkelheit for bonus damage, as Lingering Darkness is bugged and interacts with trinkets.
Our best in slot helmet to catalyze, also the only with a special effect
The best dungeon trinket available
This is the best on-use trinket from Mythic+. There are other options that are similar, such as the Vollstreckungsmandat der Leere or Fläschchen des Frachtbeförderers. This can depend on your character.
Our best catalyst target for Chest
Our best catalyst target for shoulders
A very good dagger. The proc on this technically makes it BiS, but would force an embellishment recraft on boots instead. The proc is pure single target, and thus has no scaling into AoE, which means it would only be "best" in very niche and specific situations, while the overall impact is very minimal. Not fully a "bait" item, but not worth seeking out until later in the patch for absolute BiS.

Higher item level due to dropping from Ula'tek, and a great on-use
Gebbo's is a very strong passive trinket granting a good amount of secondary stats, but gets outshined by at least one other trinket depending on situation. A good all-around option if you do not want to swap trinkets
Guillotine is a trinket that is only good in 1-2 target cleave. Due to the fact that Assassination Rogues cannot complete the set effect, the Guillotine doesn't scale with more targets, making it quite weak in higher target cleave and mythic+ situations
Font is the strongest single AoE trinket available. It is not worth seeking out for boss damage or raid damage, but adds a large amount of burst if there are stacked enemies. Due to the multiple damage amp effects in the raid, stacked cleave/aoe, and many add spawns that are part of the encounters, this is reasonably the best practical trinket.
After some further testing and comparisons, the Sapling that spawns from this seems much weaker than first thought, making it just okay or even unwanted.
A decent haste proc that can be used as a second trinket, especially in situations with less adds were Font of Venomous Rage might not be ideal.
Sims incredibly high, but requires the user to stand in a beam of light to receive effects. Nearly impossible to play around in actual gameplay, which makes it unusable.
A usable on-use trinket as well if Voracious Heart isn't available to you
Season 2 trinkets as a whole are really bad, and so you can use your Season 1 puzzle box until you can get a 321 item level or 6/6 hero track trinket from mythic+ or raid.

Great stats, great effect, higher item level than any other helm
Great stats on a shoulder. Anything without Vers will do fine
One of the few good chest pieces. Anything without Vers will do fine
If you are raiding, you do not need to catalyze the gloves. If you do not have access to raid gear, catalyze these instead
Simply the highest item level legs available

Catalyzed from Blick des gewundenen Wächters off of Ula'tek for the item effect + item level
Catalyzed from Düstere Schiftung from Voidscar Arena purely for the stats
Catalyzed from Gewänder der Kriegsprobe from Den of Nalorakk. There are very few chests that can be used to catalyze in this slot, so keep an eye out!
The natural dropped gloves are perfect just the way they are, and so are you :) If you don't raid, get Stulpen der fieberhaften Verteidigung from Murder Row to catalyze
Verdrehte Zauberbeinschützer drop at a naturally higher item level from mythic, so they are an automatic catalyst target
This dagger from Altar of Fangs is TECHNICALLY better than a crafted dagger, but will only fall into place once you have a myth track version and recrafted your embellishment to your boots. Use a crafted dagger for the majority of the season until you are able to obtain all the pieces needed to swap for this minor min-max

Is the 3/4 T21 intentional? Seems kind of odd or are the head + chest so bad that the 4p doesn't make up for it?

Kommentar von BladestormTank

I'm trying to find information on weapons. Am I to understand that now it doesn't matter what speed your off-hand/main hand are? Daggers or one-hands, all is good as long as it has the best stats?

Kommentar von TimmyET

It looks like you've updated the shard section for the recent shard buffs, but not your BiS gear recommendations, are those coming soon?

Kommentar von TimmyET

Could you please put what the player's final secondary stats will be based on the BiS gear list for the different tiers of raiding?

Kommentar von alpanhell

Why aren't Darkmoon Trinkets listed in the Trinket list at all? Are they that bad? Or a glaring omission? Seems like the Boxes would make the list especially with the scaling sigils?

Kommentar von Beranin

Is there a reason for a green bracer from HoV as BiS?

Kommentar von Muertez

I will start maining my rogue again, as it is fun. I have 4/5 from the previous tier at ilvl 424. How long I should keep them, as I have non tier gear that I could upgrade to 450. Is it worth holding to the tier set bonus until I can replace it with the new tier?

Kommentar von Lemistio

Assa needs nerf asap

Kommentar von Jaredius

Irrideous Fragment is at least A tier dungeon trinket in S4. Nelth’s Call should also be A tier.

Kommentar von jmitchy

How much should we trust Sims when it comes to our trinkets? My Sims are telling me that my Ritual Knife is giving me better DPS than the Spyglass (at the same ilvl), has this been tested?

Kommentar von drudge

it seems that Troggknochenhüftgurt is only acquirable from Timewalking, and is not listed as a drop in-game or on Schmiedemeister Throngus 's page except under the TW filter.

Kommentar von AB96

Hi. Do u know if Dawnthread Lining buff does stack?
Today i crafted my second item with same buff (crit while above 80% health) and it looks like i got only 1 buff (crit only from 1 item, not 2).
Thanks

Kommentar von Jaredius

Mercurial Egg should be at least A tier unless droptimizer and simms are broken. This is the best passive trinket this season imho.

Kommentar von ItsMrHex

For the Rune-Branded equipment...what stats are we looking for if we have all the other gear on there? Wanted to know before I had someone craft them.

Kommentar von stanleybob

Im extremely confused bc you said under no circumstance should we craft the Siphoning Stiletto, yet you also said your raidbots sim is more accurate than anything else, yet my raidbots is telling me the stilettos are better than the blacksmithing dagger? HELP LOL

Kommentar von DomoNeeko

"DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE CRAFT Siphoning Stiletto Siphoning Stiletto" How truthful is this statement when the circumstance is I do NOT do Mythics and my only option are Heroic tracks? The 636 Siphoning Stiletto will have higher weapon damage, higher agility, and higher points combined in our top 2 secondary stats compared to a best heroic weapon from the raid. He puts no conditionals in the statement. So how solid is this statement? i am seriously asking because I own and use the 2 crafted daggers.

BIS list isn't accurate, says the Apex Perforator comes from Motherlode when it really drops from Mechagon

Kommentar von Hoodlum04

For the disc belt, Electric current sims higher for me in Hybrid, Bleed, and Forced Induction builds in single target, AOE, and Dungeon slice. Not sure what numbers this guide is based off of to recommend Charged bolts over Electric Current. Also when it says it's a "2.5% increase over a regular belt", what exactly is this comparing? Is this comparing a 691 DISC belt or a 701? And what's a "regular belt"? I'm assuming it means a 684 belt but some more clarity in this section of the guide would be helpful.
