Ever since I saw this mount the first time I felt sad that it was not obtainable. Now finally it will be! In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful birds in the game!

Most likely going to be a reward from killing Argus the Unmaker on heroic difficulty, similar to how Grove Warden was a reward from killing Archimonde on heroic difficulty.

The beautiful Arcane Raven we've been seeing all expansion and drooling over is now finally available from the 肯瑞托召唤水晶, which is a reward from 泰坦之血, which is a quest you get from looting 寂灭者之血 all players will get when defeating Argus the Unmaker on heroic difficulty or higher.

I just got this mount. It's gorgeous. It cycles through purple, pink then blue colouring. Gorgeous! When flying, it looks very thin horizontally - almost like it's made of paper!

The biggest shame of all, is unless you happen to be in a progressive guild, which definitely seems less and less likely nowadays, you end up limited to LFR. Trying to make a pre-made group to do this raid on heroic with pugs, is pretty much nigh on impossible, given the lack of skills necessary to be able to beat the final boss. It's probably not even the make up of the group's fault or the players either. Due to the ding to max level, or due to a massive cut in dungeon quest reward xp, especially at the higher levels, makes them not even worth considering doing. This then has a knock on effect later on down the line. It's always a race to reach max level, and when people get there, a great many don't have the skills necessary. This is why I often championed the idea of getting blizzard to have an LFG HC mode. There are various ways of making it difficult to unlock it, making sure people have the required skill set to cope (lets face it many people just jump into lfr get into the raid and do absolutely nothing and then are rewarded for it). It's unfair because the developer doesnt even remotely care about things like this, apart from the declining sub base, even then I dont think they care either. I am not saying making it easy, what I advocating is having and LFR HC mode, where you have to prove your skillset. If they could do it under a silly gating system for dungeon HC back in warlords, they can do it for LFR too.

Is this mount still obtainable now that 8.0 has been released, or is it just the AOTC achievement that went away?

This mount has the same idle animation bug the mana-rays had when they first came out where the whole mount tilts backwards making it look like your toon is about to fall off. I hope they fix this.

According to a GM in a ticket I made regarding this mount, it is no longer obtainable as of BFA.
It's real scummy.

I am still bummed I missed out on this bird. I just was not able to play much when it was around. Perhaps ill get super lucky on the BMAH on day.

I love this mount but since I got a new laptop the harsh tone of the mount summon sound bothers me, so I decided to disable it. Here's how:

I don’t want to be that guy, because I'm happy for people that wanted this and now they will finally be able to get it, and MoP Remix was very fun and I bet Legion Remix will be too, but… why are they only bringing back the limited items I already own?

I was very proud of my 紫罗兰魔翼鸦, because I really enjoyed Legion and I spent some time in order to clear Antorus on heroic. It was cool having something limited from nearly a decade ago.

In MoP remix they didn't gave us the challenge sets (not even recolors), or the old pheonix mounts or 库卡隆战狼缰绳 . It feels inconsistent.

This selective approach just doesn’t make sense to me.

Ok, I have checked Hemet Nesingwary XVII, Horos and Grandmaster Jakkus in LEgion REmix and cant find who sells this mount. Any ideas?

You get the 紫罗兰魔翼鸦 as the reward for turning in the quest 泰坦之血, which you get after you complete the ARGUS Raid.

Can confirm this does drop in Legion Remix. I did "Antorus, The Burning Throne" Mythic under Premade Groups, ran it once, and after killing the last boss the required item to get this mount dropped. Super excited that it did, because that's literally the only reason why I ran it under a premade group rather than LFR. And please note that you Do Not need to be ilvl 740 to run a premade, as most of them are carries and they accept anybody into the raid.

Unfortunately, the Spellwing - as well as both related mounts, the storm crow and Solar Spirehawk- jitter badly while flying, constantly clipping for a frame into different poses. It's very jarring and hard to look at. Hoping this sees fixing some day, alongside the Storm Drakes, which also do this and have since Dragonflight.

For some reason no one has mentioned this: In Legion Remix you can actually get this mount on your own.

You can actually solo the raid "Antorus, the Burning Throne" in Heroic mode. After killing "Argus the Unmaker" you will be telerported out of the raid and the quest to get the mount (泰坦之血) will automaticall pop up.

You don't need to do it on Mythic, Heroic mode is enough. And you don't even need to use "Group Finder".

If you want to go this route make sure you have very high Versatility by farming infinite power. At the time of soloing my item level was 779 and my "Limits Unbound" was at rank 194/999. I recommend doing the so called "Sentinax farm" for about an hour to get an insane amount of Infinite Power. That will get you to "100%" damage reduction via Versatility and you will be able to easily solo the raid.
