From the PTR, build 11.2.0.61476:

North of the Hosaas Rest flightpath, you'll find a half-buried caravan with 3 krolusk corpses, Juvenile Dustbacks, and when you hover over them you'll see a magnifying glass. ~~Examine the corpses and~~ follow the wavy lines in the sand 'trench' heading North-East until you see a swirling sand animation beneath your feet. Once that happens, jump a few times and Malek'ta will spawn.

I will divide the rare elites required to complete the Remnants of a Shattered World achievement into three categories: Normal mode, Phase Diving mode, and Warrant. All rare elites reward 神勇石 x 5, 风化虚灵纹章 x 4 (except bosses -- which drop Carved Ethereal Crests x 3 instead), and Warband's reputation with the K'aresh Trust by 15. Some drop Warband catch-up gear iLevel 655 (1/8).

NORMAL MODE

PHASE DIVING MODE

虚空之嗣莫吉尔	/way 55.92 51.05	He moves around but mostly in the same spot. Casts 暗影撕咬 and 掘进喷发.
影哮	/way 54.07 49.28	He patrols a small area -- the icy purple ground around the Archival Assault delve. He casts 野性冲锋 and 暗影吐息.
沙海之喉	/way 54.38 54.41	Recommended to engage it in a group and/or to use any of these consumables depending on your needs. Check your bags: If you need speed to avoid the large AOE pools, click 可部署的导风塔杖. If you need healing, click 可部署的恢复酒桶. If you need DPS, 可部署的战斗补给品. Maw casts 不稳定飞沫 followed by 无常爆发. When he casts Volatile Outburst, you should run away so that the pools do not harm you while you damage Maw in close range. Move away when he casts 暴食喷发. Drops Valorstones x 10 and 蚀刻虚灵纹章 x 3. Note: Maw of the Sands can be seen by all players on the map.
束缚者萨兰	/way 65.20 49.85	Found south of the Lunnall River bridge and the Phase Conduit. Xarran casts 熵能迷雾 (interruptable but spams it 2-3 times) and 虚缚精通 (non-interruptible).
乌尔玛格	/way 70.17 49.79	The provided coordinates are a safe spot to avoid aggroing the many big 无拘肆虐者 patrolling the area. Urmag casts 噬咬 and 暗影撕咬 (non-interrupt). Move away from the large AOE area of 地底爆发.
被诅咒的煞利士	/way 73.60 55.31	The provided coordinates are the spot to pull Sha'ryth. The rare elite patrols in a circle, flying high in the air. The coordinates are on high ground, which allows it to be pulled. I recommend to fight him with your back facing the mountain wall -- because Sha'ryth casts 影咒摧残 (non-interrupt) which pushes you away. Afterwards, it casts 暗影脉冲 (non-interrupt).
废土追踪者	/way 76.72 42.12	The stalker casts 迁跃 to teleport behind you, 迁跃撕咬 (interruptible), and 虚空吐息 (non-interruptible).
掠食者考加拉斯	/way 65.52 44.18	If Korgorath is dead, it will respawn around the provided coordinates. She patrols The Tempest Fields (far southwest of The Oasis) from that spot all the way up the frozen river to /way 67.76 39.80 -- she casts 虚空猛切 (non-interrupt) and 重力粉碎 (non-interrupt). Move away from the large Gravity Shatter AOE before impact. You should interrupt 虚空召唤 to prevent her from summoning a swarm of three Void Creeper pets.
司萨阿布斯	/way 75.84 32.89	To get up there high in the sky, go to /way 75.99 34.48 -- then walk upstairs to /way 75.84 32.89 where you find a Broker Waygate. On your lower-third screen, you will see a new spell icon: 相位迁跃. Click Phase Warp to be transported high in the sky on top of a floating platform. You will notice each floating platform has two circles. These are to jump to the next platform. Sthaarbs casts 撼心光束 -- which can be deadly to nearby players as it shoots out 4 orbs that knockback players off the platform. This can't be interrupted or avoided on the target and does damage over time and slows movement. Sthaarbs also casts another damage over time spell named 延宕诅咒 (non-interrupt). Also 憎恨怒视 (non-interrupt)... all players must leave the platform before the channeled spell is completed as it pushes all players off the targeted platform. I soloed him as a Paladin by moving from platform to platform nonstop and casting as I moved. Sometimes he is not able to catch up and I attack behind him. He drops 蚀刻虚灵纹章 x 3 and 神勇石 x 10. Sthaarbs can drop a weekly cache named 扭动的巅峰之箱 -- which may drop 修复的宝匣钥匙, 蚀刻虚灵纹章 x 15, a pet (翠绿的棘尾狐), 1149 Gold, and a random upgraded gear (mine contained 废土遗民的鎏金玺戒 iLevel 671, Veteran: 2/8). Note: Everyone can see Sthaarbs on the map when he spawns.
Mk-V原型机	/way 46.21 24.27	He casts only non-interrupt spells: 晕眩试炼, which slows your movement; 毁灭践踏; and 核闪穿刺 -- avoid this one, which casts multiple AOE in a straight line.
凝望之目伊希瑟尔	/way 63.70 43.69	The provided coordinate is where he stops and patrols all the way up the icy river to the northeast. Ixthar can be seen on the map by all players with a silver icon. Ixthar casts 暗影凝视 (Interrupt), 石化诅咒 (you should jump to remove the curse), and 见证吧！. Ixthar is part of the 伊希瑟尔的传承 achievement, too. Drops 神勇石 x 10, 蚀刻虚灵纹章 x 3, and a chance to drop Binds to Warband until equipped trinket named 微型雷什沙园 (iLevel 655 Adventurer: 1/8).
惊魂的奥利斯	/way 52.75 20.64	Orith can be seen by all players with a silver icon on the map. Sometimes he flies high in the sky, but eventually lands and stays there a while at the provided coordinates. His respawn is long in terms of hours and shares a respawn with the other 2 Rare Elites that spawn in different floating isles of K'aresh. Only found in Phase Diving. Orith spams 虚空飞沫 (interrupt), 黑暗钉刺 (non-interrupt), which should be avoided before it lands on the ground. It leaves behind a dark pool that slows your movement. You should move away and let Orith come to you. Shortly after, she casts 巢群惊啸, which spawns 4 恐惧幼虫 minions. You should move and attack at the same time so that only one out of four are hitting you at a given time, but near Orith so that she gets hit by your AOE as well. Drops 神勇石 x 10 and 蚀刻虚灵纹章 x 3.

WARRANT

格拉波尔	/way 71.24 57.02	This rare elite requires a long questline that unlocks the weekly Warrant feature. Talk to 治安官佐·阿达兹 at /way 48.70 57.70 in Tazavesh (enter coordinates while inside the city). He starts the quest titled "重大威胁." Once the quest is accepted, you will see a new quest pop up at /way 48.66 58.59 -- there are 6 posters on the cart next to Constable Zo'ardaz. The quest is named: "悬赏令：格拉波尔." The quest rewards the 格拉波尔诱饵. This quest requires you to collect 3 items: 佐·吉塔果实篮, 失窃的帷幕碎片, and 风味残屑. This is a complex quest because each item is, in turn, rewarded by completing 3 separate daily quests: 佐·吉塔果实篮, 一把帷幕碎片, and 风味残屑. Once completed, use the 格拉波尔诱饵 at /way 71.24 57.02 to summon Grubber. Click the Grubber Lure in your bag to start the quest: 消灭格拉波尔. Accept the quest. This quest rewards The K'aresh Trust Commendation x 400 (reputation) and an 虚灵丝线 (currency used to upgrade your 雷什裹布 with Hashim at /way 50.33 36.33 in K'aresh). Place the lure to summon Grubber. It spams 岩石吐息 (non-interrupt), then casts 腐蚀飞沫. Drops 神勇石 x 10 and 蚀刻虚灵纹章 x 3.
奥能贩子索·泽尔	(TBD)	This is likely the longest to find as the rare elite is time-gated behind the Warrant questline that starts with 治安官佐·阿达兹 (quest: 悬赏令：格拉波尔). After completing the questline, which also unlocks access to 格拉波尔, you are time-gated behind the weekly quest lockout and RNG because there are 6 possible Warrants but only one available per week: 悬赏令：奥能贩子索·泽尔, 悬赏令：格拉波尔, 悬赏令：碎裂脉冲, 悬赏令：扭曲的赛·沃克斯, 悬赏令：紫腐, and 悬赏令：空洞灾厄.

Can be tamed by hunters. However, there's another with this exact skin from a quest chain who DOESN'T drop a mini pet. Ramonta the Insatiable.

Respawn seems to be about 15-20 minutes?

He is marked as a rare icon on your mini map at roughly 54,58 coord. This is in the area of the Eco dome Primus.

He is not walking on the map, you just stand on the ground at the location on your minimap and jump a few times to summon him.

Screen will shake and text will appear in your chat if you are doing it correctly.

just killed today, seemed bugged until just one person was slowly jumping in place. dont know if it was just a consequence that worked or not but he seemed bugged for a few minutes before he finally did rise. happy hunting!

Sometimes the minimap will show that the mob is in place, but in fact it will not be there.
If it is really in place, you will see an animation under your feet when you stand in the right place.

When you are standing in the correct area, roughly /way 54.11 58.77, then you will see a dirt animation at your feet.
Start JUMPING and you'll begin to get a buff called 发现你了 along with chat emotes. At 5 stacks Malek'ta spawned for me.

If you see 马勒克塔 on the map , but you jump and the ground doesn't shake, you need to kill one of the 沙背钻地虫 walking around there. Once you kill one, you can start jumping and the ground will shake.

Just tried to summon this boss today. Jumping made him "appear" but he never came above ground. We could target him, but couldn't damage him. However, his abilities damaged us. Anyone else experiencing this?
