In 陨圣峪 we'll help the Lamplighter in events where players collect 光耀残渣 and then 捐献光耀残渣 on Keyflames (up to 20x, everyone can contribute) to trigger bonus objectives and Elite Rare spawns, or on Lesser Keyflames (3x, player-specific) to spawn NPCs with quests and special vendor purchases (usually things to help with the events) for 陨圣峪阿拉希人 reputation, 共鸣水晶, and more.

When you activate the Lesser 钥焰 in the Torchlight Mine area, 阿提卡·维斯克威 will appear with a quest (probably 黑暗烁光) and some dialogue about Captain Lancekat. When you read everything about the Captain, 尾巴的传说 will also be available. Accept both quests to make sure you'll get 阿提卡的洞穴火炬 because you can't complete some of the required steps without its 阿提卡的洞穴火炬 aura or a similar effect that reveals hidden items like the 巡逻火炬 (vendor purchase from 约瓦斯·弗林斯泰 when you activate his keyflame).

Head to the entrance of the Coldshadow Cave, and activate your torch to reveal 牛肉 when you come close, grab the lynx kitten, and leave the cave. Outside fly around and 抓取 three more Lynx kittens. Then return to Attica and turn in your quest to receive 雷霆.

If using 哨兵照明弹发射器 to locate 牛肉, it won't detect outside the flares yellow glow. So, cover every square foot starting by the big rooms pool. Mainly found there. /way #2215 66.31 15.69 Beef in Cave

For those specifically having issues finding Beef, do the following:

1. Light the 小型钥焰 at /way #2215 64.38 18.74 Torchlight Mine Lesser Keyflame
2. Speak with 阿提卡·维斯克威 who appears on the stairs and buy 哨兵照明弹发射器 from them.
3. Go into the cave at the following coordinates /way #2215 66.31 15.69 Beef in Cave
4. Fire the flare around this area and you'll be able to find them.

If it doesn't find them on the first shot you might have been a little off. Fire in a wider area and keep looking in that small part of the cave and they will appear. They are on the cave floor near the little pond, not up on the ledge.

if the coordinates posted here aren't helping you, in the northeastern section of the cave are two little pools of water; on the same level as the rest of the cave near those pools of water is a red bush, a largeish rock along one of the pools' edge, and a cluster of five smaller rocks that between the three landmarks, make up an equilateral triangle. Beef is in the triangle—not exactly dead center, but close enough that if you were to flare in the center, you should be able to reveal him (he's near the line between the two rocks).

You CAN'T find Beef using the Flickering Torch 摇曳的火炬

darn cat was so hard to find I went and found my old wowhead login just to submit a screenshot with flare location to make him show up. hopefully it get approved before anyone else wastes time searching the cave with a flickering torch that doesn't work. and uses the shot to see where beef is in relation to the three water pools since the other shot was so zoomed in I couldn't place it.

If you still can't find him when searching, extinguish the torch and use it again when standing by the red bush at the smallest pond. That did it for me after searching for five minutes without luck. When igniting the torch he appeared immediately in front of me.

it is definately in the CAVE near the quest giver. Do not do, like the rest of us did, and wander around for hours looking for it unless your inside the cave.

Once inside, just continue going forward, do not turn left. You will find your objective on the far side of the room. it helps to use your flare.

For me, he/she was OUTSIDE of the smallest pool, on the ground at /way 66.34, 15.65
I used the Flickering Torch and my Hunter Flare to find him/her.
It was annoying as f*ck...
