This appears to be identical to the older Carved Orge Idol which is redeemed with UDE points (WoW TCG cards).

The only difference, but nice, is that it is no longer a trinket. Nice upgrade from previous version.

Before you lost the costume if you tried to mount but now it only says "You can't do that yet.", so no riding big ogres in your town.

Note: Despite the WowWiki/certain other site comments, this trinket is unusable in arenas.

Didn't really expect it to be usable, but some sites selling the card and WowWiki both indicate it is usable inside arenas.

Also, this is quite possibly the best item of all time.

The running animation for this is bugged; however I spoke to a GM and they said they are aware and working to fix it.

I made a list of gimmick items which you can use to transform your character into a different form or race or even gender to play around with. I didn't add items like weapons that provide a procc with a transform effect that only lasts a few seconds even though I know about them. Out of all the vanity items in the game, this ranks up there. IMO it's the best one since it's no longer a trinket and it has a 10 min duration with 10 min cooldown, can be used in combat, almost all emotes work with it, etc.

Since it was only redeemable with UDE points (which have not been redeemable for 2 years now!) all that is left is people who were smart enough to redeem the points 2 years ago when Cryptozoic took over the TCG from Upper Deck.

If you're lucky there's one on ebay per month and I haven't seen one on there for about 6 weeks now. Soon to be unobtainable, if it isn't already.

If they made this BOA it would be sweet.

after countless tickets spread over at least 3 expansions today a GM finally moved mine from my old lvl 19 twink to my main. apparently they decided to "make an exception" <3 i suggest u keep pestering blizz until u get a nice gm if u have the same problem xD

This item is obtained by the TCG UDE Points. I bought my carved ogre idol many years ago off of eBay for $60. Since then the cost of this item has skyrocketed due to the fact that the points used to obtain the code for this item(UDE Points) are now grandfathered. If you want this item, granted you can even find an unredeemed code for this item, you should be prepared to spend a minimum of $500USD.... possibly even three times that.

In the Warlords of Draenor 食人魔玩偶 is being placed in a new tab near to Mount and Pet Journals called "Toy Box". This means it will be available on every character of that account and not take your bag space :)

This is not the same item as the "Magical Ogre Idol," which was also a TCG loot reward which turns you into a two-headed Ogre Mage rather than the one-headed Ogre you get with this. The 魔法食人魔玩偶 also has a 5 minute duration and a 30 minute cooldown, where this item apparently can apparently keep the transform up nearly 100% of the time.

There are some unscrupulous websites out there that will claim to be selling you this item, when they actually intend to deliver the much cheaper, much more widely-available 魔法食人魔玩偶, which I bought not too long ago for $15 PPD.

At some point they gave ogres a bow/crossbow/gun animation so my hunter actually has animation when he shoots in ogre form. Also ogre form increases your gun size like 3x for whatever reason. It stacks with the Vrykul Drinking Horn for a giant ogre. When you feign death it makes the ogre death sound and animation and when the ogre feign death hits the ground, the screen shakes just a little bit. It's kind of entertaining. Also usable on all characters when you learn it as a toy. You still can't mount with it which is annoying as hell.

If you like me, still had the trinket on an old character, equipping and using it makes the trinket disappear. As a result, the toy appears in bags and you can learn it.

I am the only one hoping to see this beauty come back into the game via BMAH? I mean...i'm Ogre addicted, and the only way now to be an Ogre is to run Dire Maul for Gordok Ogre Suit.
