I fished Idol of Peril from the pool inside The Den (Harandar) at /way 51.20 52.97. It started a pink triangle quest (Important). The quest was titled 危机祝福. Du'gal is located at /way 43.13 69.18 in Amani'Zar Village in Zul'Aman.

In Beta, not sure why this quest is tagged as Important. Nothing happened after turn-in. No new quest, no reward, and Blessing of Peril doesn't show up as a Loa Blessing in the Altar of Blessings UI.

Got this from my very first cast as a level 90 fishing off the coast of Eversong Woods. Not sure if there's some criteria I've satisfied that made this drop, but unless I was unbelievably lucky, maybe not a low drop rate item. I wasn't fishing in a pool - just plain old water.

I got the Idol of Peril fishing at the river dock at Amani'Zar Village, using plain water. Midnight Fishing skill was at 112. By other accounts, the drop rate is just random.

Just got mine after fishing for hours in zulaman in an open water(not a pool). I started with 1 fishing skill and got it when i was 192. I don't know if im just THAT unlucky but seems an atrocious drop rate for a very tiny part of the achievement.

Fishing 234, did both pools and open water. Finally just stood in one place for 2 hours and just spammed until it dropped. Mindless. Yes.

Only good thing is that it seems like open water fishing yields just as much as pools. So might as well just plop down in one spot away from pats and only worry about when the stupid Blood Hunter Spirits pop-up.

I am not sure if it makes a difference but I got this to drop in Zul'Aman by the Oophanga rare at skill level 30.

I attached a 好运神灵鱼诱饵 and got it within 3 casts of application. Figured I'd mention but I don't know if I just got lucky.

Seems I had the worst luck so far based on comments in this thread.

I fished in Zul'aman pools and open water. Leveled fishing from 1-300 and then got it about 100 casts after hitting 300 from a pool.

I just fished this up in Eversong, on the island just northeast of Suncrown Village. I have 87 fishing and dropped a couple of +25 skill fish and a +150 perception fish right before it popped up.

140 Midnight Fishing. Tossed in 9 crabs (for the 5 minute buff). Fished in open waters (no pools) just to the east of the altar. Got the idol on the 4th cast.

You can get this by fishing in ANY midnight zones. Pools or open water, doesn't matter. Skill required is very low (has been caught with fishing skill as low as ~40). Drop rate estimated around 0.5%.

If you're farming specifically for it, I recommend using 阿曼尼垂钓者的结界 OR fishing at the Silvermoon pond so you won't be bothered by Blood Hunters.

Required for 祝福祭坛：阿曼尼探奇者 and 祝福祭坛：神圣盛宴信徒.

Got it with 81 fishing skill, no buffs. The bridge left of The Den in Halandar.
It seems very random, both skill and location.

I just got one of these somewhere in Zul'Aman. Fishing skill probably still below 100. I was on a nightmare hunt at the time, and it dropped AS I had an Echo of Predation approaching me (bobber bobbed just in time to escape). Dunno if either of those factors make it more likely to drop though, but fishing during a nightmare hunt does seem...perilous?

it appears that there is no requirement for it, i got it on my alt who's fishing skill was 1 without any buffs active in eversong woods at lvl 83

Got mine in the Den in Harandar at 55.35 52.74. I just used my artifact fishing pole alongside the Nat Pagle hat. No crab thrown in the water or anything else.

Tried in Zul'Aman rivers, Silvermoon Harbor, The Bazaar and Sanctum of Light.
Finally caught this idol at /way #2393 44.85 65.42 Silvermoon City.
Confirm that no buff was activated.
My fishing skill was leveled to 151 (from <5, can't remember clearly).
