When you've restored the lesser Stillstone Pond 钥焰 in 陨圣峪 (The War Within), 泰利·比吉斯通 will be available as a vendor for 火虫罐. Buy one for 2x 光耀残渣 (picked up from the ground or dropped by creatures in the Keyflame areas), activate it, and walk south along the nearby water. You will start to see emotes about Sparkbugs taking an interest in your 火虫罐 light and eventually see a highlighted Hallowfall Sparkfly that will drop the 圣洁萤火虫 when you interact.

I am having a lot of trouble getting this to work while the world quest Bog Beast Banishment is going on and there are a lot of players in the area killing the frogs/bugs. I have had the emote pop up for me that a sparkfly was interested in my light but the Sparkfly will vanished before I have a chance to click on it. You can be any where in the area and it will happen at random, but for some reason the world quest is interfering with this not allowing me to get the pet.

You cannot loot this pet until you are 80. Don't crush your soul like I did one bar away to have it despawn. Took about 25 minutes of walking back and forth before he spawns and he is not like the curious ones, he will have a gear interaction.

You can loot more than one within the hour of the buff. I tested it and got 6 pets in total.

Having this equipped then shapeshifting into Travel Form to fly as a druid, made my left wing not show or animate on the flying form. :P

I found 圣洁萤火虫 in multiple locations.

All within the hour-long duration of the buff from the jar.

After finding the first four Glowflies, I left the Stillstone Pond subzone for a few minutes, but the 火虫罐 buff was not affected by leaving the subzone.

After returning to the Stillstone Pond subzone, I found another Glowfly in the same spot as the first one at
/way #2215 66.81 25.30

Having Outline Mode switched on for quest objectives made the purple outline of the Glowflies nicely visible from more than targeting distance.

I got the emote “A Sparkbugs takes interest in your light.” at least once, while Stillstone Pond Keyflame was only at 5/20, but I don't know if that has any effect on spawning Glowflies because I got the first five of my Glowflies while the flame was lit and I refilled the flame just to make sure.

More details will be added, if I notice anything more when I'm there next time.

lots of notifications and at least 5 despawned before i could get close enough to click. i use outline setting for the wax piles. i am seeing those but the curious bugs don't stand out.

keep at it and you will get some eventually

You must be level 80 to be able to click to get the pet
tried to do this on a lvl 77 alt at first and it was a no-go /sadpanda

All these comments without the very important detail of WHERE you're actually looking for this thing.

It spawns in the reddish weed patches along the shores and rocks surrounding them.

You will see several "curious sparkbugs" before the purple, glowing, lootable pet shows up. These do not drop loot.

You can do this mounted and it's quicker.

Don't see this mentioned, but this effect stays even if you leave the area or hearth out. It emits a cute, pink glow and stays for an hour, you can even fly with it. Pretty cute for roleplay.

All the comments about where to find the spawns are correct but it can take a very long time for the actual battle pet to spawn instead of the curious sparkbugs - I only had 4 minutes on my jar left when one finally spawned. I had just been moaning to my partner about the lack of spawn so I am claiming that as my good luck charm haha!
