Has anyone actually received this toy? Is it just a rare drop from Craggle Wobbletop or do you have to do something with him except separating from the robots? Sitting at 30+ kills, while separating him with a toy and with control, killing while he still plays with the toy and setting up a 发条式火车破坏者 while he still plays - still no results.

UPD: finally got it, with 40+ kills. Just a very low drop chance. Didn't use the train for the kill.

Killing him with any class that has a long CC for humanoids:
1. Make sure you have enough sanity. Can't stress this enough - there is nothing that can kill you here except running out of sanity.
2. Control 克拉格·摇塞. This will stop him and his bots.
3. Pull robots with a single target ability (do not break the CC on 克拉格·摇塞)
4. Move away with robots from 克拉格·摇塞. Bots are buffed by his aura, it has a ~40 yard range. Both robots and and 克拉格·摇塞 will reset when pulled ~45 yards from the point they started. This gives you about 5 yards of bots without 10x health buff and not evading. For me they had about 170k hp at this point.
5. Kill the robots. Priority is on 调整过的盾机, because he buffs 克拉格·摇塞 with 90% damage reduction.
6. Repeat 2-5 untill all bots are dead.
7. Finish off 克拉格·摇塞. Hope you get toy (and not the 零散的羊拐).

List of hard CCs that works: 禁锢, 妖术, 分筋错骨, 纠缠根须, 冰冻陷阱, 忏悔, 变形术, 闷棍, 诱惑. Can't think of anything for DK, Priest or War.

Killing him with 玩具火车 (has a 30min cd):
1. Put toy on his route. When he walks over it, he'll start casting a 20s cast, that also removes the aura from robots. He will ignore it sometimes, you can just pull him on top of train set, and he should start the cast.
2. Kill robots while aura is down. 调整过的盾机 is top priority. If you killed 调整过的盾机 but not the others - finish off 克拉格·摇塞 before killing other robots (or he will heal them).
3. Finish off 克拉格·摇塞.

When used, your character equips a pair of goggles with the same model as 米米尔隆的飞行眼镜.for 10 minutes. For the duration, all companion pets will be seen as aberration creatures from your point of view. Most of these illusions seem to take the form of either pink or grey fleshbeasts with a smaller chance of appearing as 克嬉尔. Pets that normally hover will still be flying in their illusion form.

I'm not sure if any other toys are affected, but I can confirm that the 发条式火车破坏者 is also transformed.

It's an actual drop, as in you loot him? His corpse is very small and easy to not realize you can loot him, since nothing else is lootable and all other rewards come at the end of the Vision.

It's a personal drop. We killed the boss today with 2 people, and only one of us got the toy as loot.

I've been killing this guy on multiple toons while I level my cloak (fun fun). And I finally got to a class/spec that didn't have a cc that would work (warrior) and I used the 玩具火车.

Not sure why no one says to just use this in the first place. You just place it by him and he starts casting, the robots start attacking you and you pull them a little away from him (not even sure if you can break his cast or not) and you kill the robots easily. They lose their buffs immediately. Then you kill him.

You don't have to cc and pull the robots far enough away to break the buff they have. It's much easier with the Train Set.

I'm not sure if it's an intended result, but using this allows you to see some "quest bunnies".
For example, while on the quest One Gnome's Trash I was able to see a lot of these:
Quest Bunny - 1 Rare Metals
Quest Bunny - 3 Rare Metals
Quest Bunny - 1 Rare Metal (Spare Parts)

and - Quest Bunny - 1 Rare Metal (Box)
which will grant you Small Metal Box which can contain the Paint Bottle: Electric Blue

Still drops 9.2 Shadowlands. You will need your Legendary Shroud of Resolve (Back slot). You will need lots of 'Coalescing Visions' (10,000/Vessel of Horrific Visions) to enter the vision. This Vessel is purchased from Wrathion inside the Chamber of Heart.

Craggle Wobbletop was always up. Just head straight to the middle part of the map. First few times I uses a macro /target Craggle Wobbletop to find him. Then I realised he was generally close to the same place each visit. Easily beaten in 5 to 30 seconds depending on how far you can separate him from his 2 protectors. I used Fear. Some use the Toy Train Set. Then I rushed back and knocked out the final boss to end the vision

I ran this about 20 times over a couple hours. Then the toy dropped. You could run the whole Vision collecting more 'Corrupted Mementos' to get that mount 'Wicked Swarmer' but for 100,000 Mementos? Nuh. I just wanted the toy and got out

The version of Craggle that is inside TWW Horrific Vision also drops this toy. I got mine today :)

This took me roughly 45 tries for 11.1.5. I think hunter is best for this, but any stealth class is preferred.

Tips

Make sure you have Interact with Target bound, I prefer Interact with Mouseover Target. This makes queuing/looting faster.
Create a macro with and place this on toolbar with keybind.

Steps - (read steps 8 through 11 if you want TLDR, or aren't using stealth class)

Stand next to gateway, use Interact with Target, select Scenario to queue
Walk up next to Image of Wrathion, use Interact with Target, click I am ready to enter vision
If you're a hunter, use Camouflage, then Aspect of the Cheetah. You want to stay right, mobs can easily see through stealth if you're too close
Once you get to first tree stump, go left diagonally into courtyard near fountain, then line yourself up straight for hallway into Canals
If you walk directly between the Fallen Heartpiercer and Enthralled Footman, but jump right before you walk directly beneath them, it's usually enough to avoid them detecting you and breaking stealth, sometimes you'll get unlock and Madness of Power will spawn
If you get detected as hunter, run down the hallway past the two small bone piles, then Feign Death so you don't re-aggro them.
Go right, you can safely walk over the Corrupted Tumors, they won't aggro, then left over the small bridge.
At this point Craggle should just be heading towards your direction, left of the bridge/entrance to trade district
Just use Freezing Trap (or other long duration CC) on the Shieldbot, NOT Craggle
After the Shieldbot is frozen, Craggle and other bots should keep walking, once he's about 30 yds away from Shieldbot, kill Craggle and use Interact with Target to loot quickly.
Now use macro above to exit immediately without killing other bots.

Using the above steps on a hunter, each run only took me roughly 1 minute on ilvl 650 Marksmanship Hunter.

1. Enter combat with everything.
2. CC Craggle and run away until the bots are out of range to be healed.
3. Nuke them.
4. Nuke Craggle.

Works flawlessly on a druid with a 39 second root. If you're doing visions revisited just leave instance and repeat until you get the toy.

As a 牧师, to slay 克拉格·摇塞 do these steps.
Take off all the masks.
Pick a single target shadow spec.
Enter Stormwind.
Move through the 克拉格·摇塞's patrol, use 心灵尖啸 and melt down 克拉格·摇塞.

You should be able to kill him during the fear time.

It took me 8 times to loot the 过于敏感的虚空目镜.

Since there haven’t been any recent updates for a month, here’s my experience:
I got the toy on all alts, with 0 to 8 masks, after around 5 to 40 tries each.

As mentioned in other comments:
If you don’t have CC (crowd control), you can just use the Toy Train Set to group the adds, then punch the gnome. If the trinket doesn’t drop, just leave and try again.

As a 圣骑士, I went in and used 忏悔 on 克拉格·摇塞, then pulled the robots away from 克拉格·摇塞 and then nuked the robots.
Then after the robots were dead, I finished off 克拉格·摇塞.

It took me 14 tries, but I got it, no masks were used, as you can see in the screenshot.

With current gear levels available, there's no need to CC the toy adds. My 707ilvl fury warr eats through Craggles health while taking almost no damage.
