Changes the skybox to look as if it were night time in game (presumably frozen to midnight). If you can see the sun/moon in the sky and use the toy, you will actually see them move quickly to their midnight positions, and the sky shifts rapidly to night. Note that it isn't pitch dark like the inky black sky potion, but the regular midnight sky.

Lasts 2 hours, 1 hour cooldown. IT DOES GO AWAY ON DEATH.

I've been farming this item for more than 5 days, killing Shassera 4 o 5 times per day and no luck... I'm starting to doubt the 10% drop rate

just got my shadescale but noticing that in 9.2.5 it does nothing in alot of shadowlands zones.. anyone having this issue?

If you're looking to farm this item for the Felcycle, here's how to get to Nazjatar on characters that have never set foot in BFA:

Grab 争霸艾泽拉斯：使命宣言 or 争霸艾泽拉斯：战争之潮
On the next quest 逃出暴风城 or 库尔提拉斯王国, if you've already went through the scenarios with another character, you have an option to skip by speaking to Nathanos or Jaina.
Continue the questline until you've done 欢迎来到祖达萨 or 分裂的国度
Do 派遣舰队 or 派遣舰队 to get to Nazjatar

this drop rate is not 11,11% for sure , I'm at 62 kill today , and still no shadesale , I got 2x chum that suppose to be 0.06%....

Things to know before farming:

Shassera is inside a cave. Just fly near its spawn and look for a cave on the ground in the area. You can't fly into the waterfall...
Its spawn time is 30-60 minutes.
You can only loot Shadescale on your character's first kill of the day! It seems like a lot of people are making the mistake of killing Shassera multiple times on the same character. I got mine after 7 attempts.

The drop rates for this rare are nonsense. 11% for the toy? No way. I've killed this thing like 20 times and I've got nothing. It also seems the reputation item it drops is 100%, instead of the 14% it says on Shassera's page.
