How cool would it be if you could actually play Hearthstone inside of WoW, maybe even collect cards through quests or some other means? Not for everyone, sure, but neither are pet battles, transmog competitions or mini-holidays.

I just got this toy from 轻轻摇晃过的礼品. However it's not a 100% drop. So you may need some alts to get this toy. The chance is pretty high though.
Also, even if you got the alliance version of the toy. You won't automatically learn the horde version of it.
Therefore, you will need horde characters to get 炉石小站.

If you do not see this gift under the tree on your characters, make a free level 100 Legion trial character and just hearth back to Orgrimmar/Stormwind from the start and go pick up your present that way.

Alliance characters can use the Deeprun Tram or teleport to Dalaran from Stormwind Harbor recruiter guy (征募官李) that lets you skip the Legion intro.

No idea what makes it fail to appear, but trial characters can see it normally.

The problem is, that the quest hasn't been reset.
So if you have done it last year, you cannot do it this year on the same character.

A solution is to create another character, or use another you have, that didn't do it last year.

There's a bug involving quest resets this year, somehow.

If you only see 5 gifts under the tree and haven't received the hearthstone toy, hop on an alt that didn't do the Winter Veil quests last year and check again. I had a level 80 toon on reserve for Ulduar that worked for me. The gift you're looking for is "Gently Shaken Gift".

This quest is currently bugged. It looks like it hasn't been reset from last year. They'll most likely carry out a hotfix to correct this. However, if you cannot wait until the hotfix has been fushed live, you can always use the work-around and use a character that didn't trigger the presents from last year, at very least not the "Gently Shaken Gift". Alts (level 10 and up if I'm not mistaken) will do. You can also make a level 100 trial character.

The item is a 100% drop and not just a chance, I've done this on 6 characters now, and they all received it. So it's either 100% or the RNG gods loved me today.

Honestly, I would just wait for the hotfix, I highly doubt Blizzard will be okay with people having to create new character just to get the new 2017 items.

On a side note, both the toy set and this item are faction specific, so you'll have to get them on both a Horde an Alliance char, in which case the trial character may still come in handy if you're a perfectionist!

If someone right clicks on it while you have it open to a game, they generally win straight away and your toy becomes unusable for.. well, it's been 1 hour so far... And then I logged off. Relogging didn't fix it, course it's new, so probably see a fix soon!

On December 25 no quest was available to characters that had completed last year's quest in 2016. Other characters had access, and the problem was fixed on the 26th.

I would like to mention that opening a Gently Shaken gift from LAST YEAR that you did NOT open yet, will NOT give you the 2017 toy. It seems Blizzard has fixed items shifting in unopened gifts, and that all gifts are static now, whether you open them or not. Further evidence of this is getting the 2017 achievement for the toy set upon receiving the gift box, rather than opening it.

I opened a Gently Shaken Gift from last year, and I received Disposable Winter Veil Hats, if I'm not mistaken. So last years presents do not shift to the new presents, like they used to do in the past.

The Gently Shaken Gift bug has been hotfixed (as of December 27, 2017) and may now be picked up on any character that could previously not receive the quest to loot the box. Good luck with your toys, don't forget to pick them up on both factions! You have until the 2nd of January to pick up this year's gifts!

I believe there a bug with these persisting in the game world after being used. Not exactly sure what is causing it but I keep finding them all over.

Anyone gotten a Hearthstation in the 2018 version of Stolen Present?

Personally I've done 16 Alliance Characters and 5 Horde and still not seen one :|

I can confirm today that this is NOT in any gift that is under the tree on Horde or Alliance as of Christmas 2018. I have 16 Alliance characters and 1 Horde character, farming the Stolen Present and have not obtained either the Horde or Alliance version of the Hearthstation. I'm convinced this is now no longer obtainable or they simply have not moved this into the Stolen gift this year by accident.

Edit: After posting on the forums and getting the same feedback, I sent Blizzard a ticket about this. Likely won't get a reply until three-five days but when I do get a response, I'll edit again with what I'm told. If there isn't a sudden patch tomorrow that announces they fixed their boo-boo, of course.

Edit 2: Finally got a response from blizzard, so, yes the Hearthstation is not in the gift this year, bug, it's known and the bug report team are "working on it". If you're thinking you can send in a ticket because you have one faction version of it and just be given the other, no, I asked, apparently despite the fact that all of the other toys grant you both versions, they can't award you the other. Only thing to do is spam in bug reports to their team which will "increase the priority".

Acquired this from the Stolen Present on December 16, 2019 so it has indeed been fixed. Took me 11 characters (all 120) so the chance is likely on par with the other older rewards also available from the present. Still gives both Horde/Alliance versions if you learn one. Cannot confirm if lower level characters can get it from the Green version of the present.

I got this today, 12/25/19 from the Stolen Present reward of the mean one daily. So, it hasn't been taken out, and it doesn't come from the Christmas tree. Just need to get lucky with the daily reward!.

Got this toy today. After more than 60 attempts i wrote a ticket. Maybe i just got lucky that he just gave me the alliance Version.

Still seems buggy if you already have one toy, that the other version can´t drop

Been farming this toy with alliance characters for years, because I had the horde version already, but this year when I didn't get it, I made a report to blizzard and they sent it to my mail, it seems that there was a bug in my account, because when you get it on any faction and use it, automatically it will learn you both faction toys.

Good news, everyone!
I am one of the people who was affected by the 轻轻摇晃过的礼品 2017 bug. That is I had looted the gift under the tree on all my Ally chars that were eligible before the fix on Dec 27, '17, and didn't have enough time to level another character to loot it again before the event ended. I also looted the Horde 炉石小站 so I had one, but not the other.

It was then moved to the daily quest 卑鄙小人 reward 被窃的礼物. For years I attempted to get it through the daily, but it seems I was "flagged" ineligible as I had already "looted/learned" it, especially now that learning one also learns the other for those who have neither, unlike before. After nearly giving up, I finally was able to put in a ticket thanks to the suggestion of comments here (although I feel it is much more difficult to do this than it used to be) and was sent the item by Customer Service today. I used this form for the ticket: https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/contact/466/ticket - selected the date of December 25th, 2017, an appropriate realm & character and explained the issue. Response took about 2 days, but I was happily patient especially considering the time of the year. I hope this can be of help to some who have also been struggling with this! Happy New Year!

EDIT: Tried to reach out to a GM to find out if this was resolved. But as usual they don't really answers the question or give you a fix but just copy/paste some standard reply.

yea there is no workaround. since its been a bug since 2017 there is only one way for you to help me. that is mail the item to me. i have my own policy. if ive been having a bug since 2017. in other words 8 years. and i've done everything they say in there copy/paste text. and i've done bug reports for 4 years a GM is bound to help out. that is my policy. and should be your policy too. sure you can ask a superior. these a special circumstancen. been waiting for this toy for years. and its christmas. have a heart?

Seems like GM job has become irralvent. You don't do anything anymore. You don't help. You don't even remotely try to help. All GM does now a days is to spit out these standard copy/paste answers that i'm sure can be found on the webpage. Blizzard should just fire all the GM. They are useless anyway. I think i'll write to blizzard headquarters and suggest you all get fired. Better go start look for a new job. And maybe replace you with a chat AI bot to spit out these copy/paste answers. Unless you already have been replaced by AI? I mean, that would sure make sense. Since the answers feels very much AI generated.

So I had only the alliance version of this toy and was missing the horde one. This year my alliance character got this drop from the Stolen Present and the item said "already known", but decided to right click it anyway and learned the horde version.

This dropped for me today, on 01/01/2026 after 82 Stolen Presents this year - but I got many other previous year gifts along the way, so if this the only one you need, it should drop much more quickly.

I did not previously have the horde or alliance version, and when I used this gift, it gave me both toys.
