Where do you get this?
Mine dropped today from Gul'dan in the Nighthold on normal difficulty.

What does it do?
This is a toy with a 2.5 hour cooldown. On use, it transforms you into Lord Jaraxxus for 1 minute.
During this time, your action bar is replaced with spells that play Jaraxxus quotes. Very loud Jaraxxus quotes. These include "YOU FACE JARAXXUS, EREDAR LORD OF THE BURNING LEGION", "Trifling gnome! Your arrogance will be your undoing!" and 3 others.

What's the point?
Jaraxxus is basically a long-running joke in WoW and Hearthstone. He was originally a boss in Trial of the Crusader raid in WOTLK. Following that, this remix was produced: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkeC9WVVsQ4. Presumably in reference to the remix, Lord Jaraxxus became a very powerful (and very rare) Hearthstone card. This is what the in-game toy refers to - the Jaraxxus card "destroys your hero and replaces it with Lord Jaraxxus".

I looted this from LFR Gul'Dan whilst on my DH.

When you use it, you turn into Lord Jaraxxus and get a different action bar and yell Jaraxxus quotes :P

While you can hear the audio and yell emotes, everyone else will not be able to hear them. They can only see the emote animations.

No comments here for a while so I thought my experience with getting this toy might be useful.

I have been running Raid Finder Gul'dan on several different toons each week for a total of 39 runs.

In those 39 runs I saw this toy drop twice, but for others, not me (I also coined every run). The second time it dropped was for a mage on a different realm that I happened to have gold on. I offered 200K on his home realm and he agreed. Even though this toy is soulbound, it is tradeable to others in the same raid. I logged onto my toon on his realm, traded the gold, relogged onto my raid toon and invited him to group cross-realm. We could then see each other and complete the trade.

As with all tradeable raid loot, you only have 2 hours to complete a trade or the item becomes untradeable.

I was sick of waiting for queue pops, so the 200K was a bargain for me. He was happy to have his wow paid for a month with the token he bought.

If you're still farming this toy and you see it drop for someone else, you might be able to strike a deal if they happen to have a toon on a realm you share on an alt. Good luck!

Two dropped in a raid I was in on my rogue. One of the guys already had it and we rolled on it. I won and was able to learn it.

Fun toy, which transforms you and gives you a new action bar for the duration with insults and so forth.

For those who didn't raid this during current content, the LFR wing you are looking for is called "Betrayer's Rise." You can queue for legion LFRs by talking to 大法师提迈尔 in front of Violet Hold in new Dalaran.

This does not show in the Toy Box (under "uncollected"). Was it renamed? I'm not finding any useful information. The guide says this can be purchased from Benjamin Brode in your garrison, but he only sells the other two hearthstone toys.

Currently clocking in roughly 250 attempts including coins, the drop % for this is clearly very low. Most of my attemps are made in LFR-Normal-HC so perhaps Mythic does have a higher chance like wowhead data seems to suggest. Regardless, for me this is harder to obtain than the green infernal mount associated with the boss, which i got after 180ish attempts or so.

EDIT: Currently clocking in 424 attempts, still i see absolutely no sign of this toy. At this stage i obtained every single vanity item in old raids in the game, yet this one still eludes me, don't know why, maybe just unlucky.

Note - other players (even same-faction people on your friends list, in your party, and standing right in front of you) will not hear your sounds/yells, or see the associated speech texts, when you use the various abilities as Jaraxxus.

You'll just be a big red demon, gesticulating into the wind.

Finally dropped for me after somewhere around 500 kills + another 400 bonus rolls.

It dropped on LFR and in the chest. Not on a roll.

I am declaring this the hardest in game toy to collect. My summary:
• People have declared they have gotten the toy from Gul’dan on LFR, Normal & Heroic Nighthold raid. However the toy is not on 古尔丹 loot table so I declare these people insanely lucky
• After you kill Gul’dan on Mythic Nighthold another boss spawns 心魔 The toy is in his loot table
• I estimate I ran Gul’dan on LFR about 500 times without luck
• I then ran Mythic Nighthold about 100 times and the toy finally dropped today 28/11/2023
• I used approx. 1,000 Marks of Honor for the extra loot roll
• Archmage Lan’dalock sells you a ‘Seal of Broken Fate’ for the extra loot role (Dalaran 57 67)
• Ironically the toy did not drop from the extra loot role
• Confirmed from 10-man Mythic Nighthold
• I had 6 toons running this weekly. Toy did not drop on my main toon which ran the most of this raid
• Nighthold raid can be confusing so here goes:
1. Kill Skorpyron
2. Kill Chronomatic Anomoly
3. Kill Trilliax (obvious order)
4. Up the stairs to the central garden and kill Spellblade Aluriel
5. Now head NE Astromancer’s Rise and kill the trash. This will open a door upwards. Kill Star Auger traeus who is upstairs
6. Back down the stairs and go further NE off the map and kill High Botanist Tel’am (3 bosses so one at a time)
7. All the way back to the Central garden and SW to the Captain’s Quarters. Up the stairs and kill Tichondrius (stealthy types can just stealth upstairs to the boss)
8. Back to the Central Garden and this time SE through the Nighspire (past the inactive portal) and just keep going to kill Krosus
Now back to the Nightspire and click the Portal which is now active– Nightspire
9. Kill Grand Magistrix Elisande
To the Portal and click ‘Font of Night’
10. Kill Gul’dan and await the Demon Within to Spawn (there is no loot from Gul’dan)
11. Kill ‘The Demon Within’ and I wish you luck on toy drop

• Pro tip: As you enter the raid an NPC at the start is offering you a quest (low level so it might be hidden). Kill the 9th boss over 4 weeks and they will give you access to a secret door just down the steps at the start of the raid. On run number 5 hand in the quest and you can skip the first 8 bosses and go straight for Grand Magistrix Elisande > Gul’dan > Demon Within

This dropped today at Guldan LFR in Legion Dallaran, after farming it for almost half a year with 22 chars. Can confirm it stills drop so god luck. Also, during farming also dropped on my paladin on LFR. Both loots are in the loot chest, none obtain with coin, or any other legion mount/pet/toy maybe someone can update if they obtain any with coin.

dropped after 590 attempts spread amongst 26 characters and all difficulties, now that raid skips are account wide.. my demon hunter alone got the other toy (the skull thing) 5 times in that time.

The eventual drop was in LFR.

225 tries with the collector's bounty event. Still nothing, this item is broken.

Edit: 342 tries during event, no drop. This week 65 chars*4 difficulties.
Edit #2: currently at 439 attempts, kinda giving up, do 2 per char now.
Edit #3: 443 attempts and it dropped, the power of complaining on the wowhead worked it's magic as always. (dropped on normal on DH from the chest)

I submitted the bug 3 times already. 0 reaction from blizz >_<

I believe Collector's Bounty is not working—or possibly bugged—for the 金色炉石卡牌：加拉克苏斯大王

According to the Rarity addon, here are my attempts so far:

金色炉石卡牌：加拉克苏斯大王: 397 attempts (76.46% estimated chance)

Given the high number of attempts and the drop chance stated, this seems unusual. I’d appreciate it if the team could investigate whether Collector's Bounty is functioning correctly for this reward.

I raised two tickets and got confirmation from Gamemaster.

"During the event, its drop rate was listed at 0.77%, which is slightly higher than the usual 0.5%—so yes, it was boosted, but not dramatically."

On Wednesday, 23/07/2025, when I logged in, I noticed my character had been teleported to the innkeeper. I think I was stuck or something like that. I ignored it and immediately went to do the Gul'dan LFR "Betrayer's Rise".

On my 644th attempt of
金色炉石卡牌：加拉克苏斯大王 DROPPED!
I finally got the toy with an estimated drop chance of 91.13%!

It most likely dropped because of a hotfix implemented during the fourth week of the event—so the toy dropped from Gul'dan LFR "Betrayer's Rise"!

This marks the end of the Nighthold raid journey.

397 Attempts with buff on. Finally dropped on heroic. Didn't feel like a 5% increase but clock in your characters per week during this event and it will drop. It's just rough RNG.

But in those 300 attempts, no mount and no toy.

At 5% drop chance this is beyond stupid. There is NO WAY those items are boosted.

* Loots like any other item, its not auto looted into your bags or anything.

Seems like the drop rate has been fixed for the last week of collectors bounty, just dropped for me on Mythic.

24 tries last week no drop, and got it on 19th try this week.

Did about 200 attempts during Collector's Bounty across Normal / Heroic / Mythic. Then I did 5 in LFR and got it.

I suggest you try LFR first, not because that's where I got it. LFR takes you straight into the boss and you get it done in 5 minutes. Doing the other difficulties includes time wasted on RP dialogs with the two bosses.
