Just got this as a level 57 mage and tried the anti-venom out. Apparently, it's not strong enough to cure all.

Level 53 Fledgeling Chillwind in Winterspring - cured the poison it spat.

Level 54 Toxic Horror in Felwood - two different kinds of poisons and neither was cured.

I have yet to try with even higher-level poisoners.

There are 2 of these on Alliance AH on Nathrazim, but they are selling for 15-20g each. However, must not be that rare because both of them are from the same person.. :/

I got one from Highland Strider in Arathi Highlands while doing raid ganking 60 (i'm at 49 atm) I got it since other ppl were so far off and apparently doesn't care if i keep it or not. Hour later I put on AH for 5g min/ 10g bo. One guy brought it about hour later and put up for 30g bo... he even got 2 of them posted. Didn't check if it sold @ 30g or not but I think i got pretty fast quick deal for 10g. :D

I got this while fishing in Hillsbrad -- out of a trunk. It seems to be pretty rare...so rare there is no market for it in the AH.

Try farming these: https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=6017 instead of looking for Strong Anti-Venom.

They cure ALL poisons and diseases up to level 60, and are a very frequent drop off the level 30ish casters in NE STV. The main drawbacks are: It can only cure 1 poison and 1 disease per use, and it's treated as a potion so it triggers the potion cooldown. Still much better than Strong Anti-Venom until you hit honored with AD.

I saw it once in AH, but someone bought it right infront of me(when i tried to buy it i couldnt, because it was gone... ;P).

Crippling Poison I

is lvl 20 and will be cured by the normal anti venom.

Crippling Poison II

is lvl 50 and you need the powerful anti venom for it.

I dont see the point of this one, except maybe to do something with Large Venom Sacks

lol 200g wtf I got mine for 10g bargain on Wildhammer server they usually sell for 30g so I go bit of a bargain. Only seen this about 7 times in AH though so pretty rare

Came on here to read about this and Elixir of Poison Resistance drops, then ran Stockade for some greens to d/e, and BAM, it dropped off a Defias Prisoner. Greymane :-)

Now to decide whether to learn or sell

Mine dropped in WC.

No one in my group had ever seen it before.

A high lvl rogue who's a buddy of mine was running me and a few other lowbies through.

My buddy and I were just hacking our way through when this dropped.

The others in the group could have used it, but they were too far away to roll because they had taken a wrong turn and gotten lost, or they were doing some other thing besides fighting towards Pythas.

The moral of the story:

Don't get lost.

The strong anti-venom you can make with this is limited to level 35, as the lower-level anti-venom was limited to level 25. Makes this kind of useless, as there is no higher-level anti-venom.

The large venom sac you need to make this is also a pretty rare drop.

Dropped for me today in Desolace off of a centaur. My bags were full and I had tons of large venom sacks, so without thinking, I instantly right clicked on it and learned it, before I knew that it goes for about 10g on my server. Oh well - at least it is a useful recipe to know.

WTF? ARE you liening ppl? NO ONE buys it when its price is over 20... it`s very hard to sell even in a full server like Lightning`s Blade!
Anyways it`s worth max 1g (without the point it`s hard to get it - and SO WHAT?)... u must be nuts if u buy it for at least 4g >_>

Looted it out of a chest in Satyrnaar. Auctioneer scans on Skywall say it should sell for about 80g. Had it up for 70g for weeks, still hasn't sold. Bah..

There are a few options for removing poison effects for classes/races that don't have a poison removal ability (i.e. Dwarf racial 石像形態 or a Druid's 驅毒術, Shaman's 消毒術 or Paladin's 純淨術, etc):

抗毒藥劑 (created by First Aid; learned from Trainer).
強力抗毒藥劑 (created by First Aid; learned from 手冊：強力抗毒藥劑).
諾克賽恩之心 (dropped by 諾克賽恩).
滋補藥水 (created by Alchemy; learned from 荒蕪之地的試劑 II or 荒蕪之地的材料 II).

NOTE: 密林藥劑 and 滋補藥水 start the Potion CD, whereas 抗毒藥劑 and 強力抗毒藥劑 do not, so they are the superior choice for removal. 諾克賽恩之心 requires you to give up a trinket slot, but if the poison was longer than the 30secs it takes to CD after you equip, you could keep it in your bags to remove poisons without needing to carry other items.

This dropped for me off the Defias Night Blades from Duskwood yesteday in Phase 4 of Wow 20th anniversarry. I spent 40 hours trying to get the Robes of Arcana recipe and probly killed about 300 of each before this dropped and the recipe never dropped.
