I have no idea why, but it seems this stuff is rediculously overpriced on my server (spirestone), as I never see them for less than 10g each. Possibly because it's a pvp server and the rogues would MUCH rather use the fadeleaf for better purposes.... Which stinks, because I just want my Dusky Armor chest, dammit :P

Actually, when I bought one at the AH, it set me back 2g 50s. Soooo...if anyone feels like selling one for 1g, you'll be my favorite seller ever, but you can probably extort quite a bit more money from us non-alchemical players. Just a heads-up.

The graveyard in SM can have from 0-9 Gravemoss per run (some times there is only kingsblood), library has 1-3 fadeleafs per run. So what I do is running between gy and lib and reseting the instances so the herbs spawn. Since I'm lvl 60 I only need to kill 2 mobs in lib to get to the fadeleaf and none in gy to get to the grave moss. This way I can grind it better than anyplace else, but I need 80 of each to make 20 Greater shadowresistance potions so it takes a while =S

Hey, I'm just wondering: Would the shadowbolt caused by this effect be affected by the shadowpower potion? Because it is a shadow spell, but isn't technically the users spell (Unless you're a warlock, in which case this seems pretty close to a waste of money anyway. So if anyone knows, that would be very good.

My server Grave Moss goes for 20g a stack because I'm on horde and we all know how hard horde has it when it comes to PvE. We only have 2 guilds deep into Naxx, and they farm their own mats (I know it's insane to farm and do end-game) and raid Naxx 5-6 times a week. They go through a hell of a lot, but there are also a ton of herbalists on my server, so they are fueled for their potion "abuse".

I'm the one , who can make, and sell in AH shadow oil in my server in Alliance. My shadow oil price is 4-5 gold /potion, and I can sell it all. :D. Only 1 problem is the fadeleaf, and gravemoss, hardly gathering, these are very few herbs in the game.

HEY do not use this un your weapon! If u are an alchemist sell this oil at AH or save it for greater shadow resistance potion. On our AH 1 shadow oil=8 gold and its s o easy to make since in all the graveyards is full of grave moss.

Shadow Oil is amazingly hard to come by on my server, Tanaris. Usually one of them sells on the AH for 8-10g. Unfortunate, because i'm a Leatherworker, and I need it for some good armor.

I feel stupid for asking but did Blizzard drop the effectiveness on Shadow Oil or something. Back when I was playing serious I was making gold hand over fist but on Blackwater raiders I can't even sell a stack for 3 gold. Just wondering if I should even bother making it and trying to see it.

guys as Retri Pala I need to have as much Proc from all sources as I can.
So I used this in last MC and the real proc isnt 15% but at last 5%.
What is yours experiance...
Cos in this case it is useless so next time I will 2% CRT sharpening stones!

Note that the shadowbolts that fire off this eat the proc from warlocks shadowbolt crits, so you don't wanna use this in raids.

Proc has an internal cooldown of 10 seconds. You will not get the advertised 15% proc rate.
