1. This weapon drops off the demon summoned as the finisher for the Atiesh questline. Either that, or it is used in the fight somehow (Disarm him and use his weapons against him?)
2. Not only is this a conjured item-meaning it only lasts 15 minutes if you log out- but it's also Stratholme specific. If you leave stratholme, it vanishes instantly.
3. Every second you have it on, you lose 5% of your health.

This weapon is only meant as a small bonus or fun item when fighting the demon for the Atiesh quest. You can pick it up from the ground half way through the fight and use it from then on until logging out for 15 minutes or leaving Stratholme.

Therefore it's no use at all and a weapon like this will never be in the game. It is way too strong and you should realize that by just looking at the stats.

And anyone from now on asking "where do I get this?" is simply too stupid to browse this page.

Blue Item: A shard done by ranking of level of item mostly
Epic items: Nexus Cyrstal
Legendary Items: CANNOT BE DISENCHANTED, tried says cannot be disenchanted, just like if u dry do disenchant a white/grey item.

Listen...On the atiesh quest you need to kill a demon in Stratholme, you summon him with the part of atiesh you already have. You summon the demon and at 50% hp he drops this so you have enough DPS to kill him otherwise it's impossible. It is a conjured item can only be used in Stratholme and it disappears after 15 minutes after logout. So unless you want to log on every 15 minutes of your life and live in Stratholme then you can't have it.

Although blizzard could've used absolutely anything as the quest item, starting with some weird green goo to the Flaming Eye of Atiesh, they had to teast every single rogue, warrior and hunters with it.

do u know 1000 agality would give a rouge 70% chance to doge and an extra 30% chance to crit and if they had both swords then they would have a 180% chance to dodge and 90-100% cance to crit(that with a rouges epic armour and natural abilitys) u created hell not to meantion the damage they do indevigually plus they holf damage i mean WTF!

Also, to answer another question here;
This weapon is NOT a GM item. It is gotten off of 'Atiesh' the demon spawned inside of 'Stratholme' at the very end of the 'Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian' quest-line and may be used through the fight with him.
Being "fading away" as it is, it will disappear upon leaving Stratholme or being logged out for some time (like all conjured items).

And to clear up some confusion;
It is not created from a trinket as Alisteena posted below.

Ok listen up this wep. exist you will get it when u are doing the Q line i stratholme when you are making Atiesh... it will drop from a boss a bit inside a fight the warrior will then grap it(or the rouge who cares) and u will make alot more damage or make alot of Aggro

When you engage atiesh <The Hand of Sargeras> in strat dead during the atiesh staff quest chain, he drops his weapon early in the fight, which a member of your party can pick up and use. It also cuts his MH dmg in half (there may be something you have to do to make him drop it)
that person gets to use this weapon for the duration of the fight, and probably about 5-10 minutes after.
Atiesh has over 200k hp, and, without a MH weapon, hits 700 MH and 700 OH on a naxx geared tank with 12k+ armor. With his weapon he hits 1500 MH.
He also has a curse that lowers AP by 1000, and some kind of AE dmg that I couldn't identify from the video.
5-man boss for raiders...little preview of some xpac content, i think.

This seems to be Blizzard's idea of a joke. They give you the ultimate 1H weapon but you can't take it outside of Stratholme and it disappears after 10 minutes or something.
Imagine how you would feel with this. You've got the best weapon that will ever be in the game but it's no use to you.

Hmmm.. I seem to recall seeing a weapon with this name on the Aggrammar server.
But if memory serves me right, it was an Epic item, not a legendary.

yup...atiesh has 200,000ish hp and hits for 500-1000 each hand, on a T3 tank. note that you have to 5man it, so this is wayyyyyy harder than the thunderfury boss prince thunderaan which u can bring over 40 people against a weaker boss (bring some NR and that TF boss is easy mode)

he drops this sword and a player can pick it up and use it against him (most likely, rogue) it is conjured item, disappears in 10 minutes, or if you leave strath or log off.

no wonder thunderaan failed miserably, a little demon's sword is better than his and the demon dualwields them.

this weapon is bad ass. i would willing respec and use this 1H sword inplace of the 2H axe i have now. im lvl 70. and i wouldnt be suprised in the least if i ended up doing a sh*t ton more damage with this sword then with my axe.. i hate bliz for how they set this sword up. damn them to the darkest reaches of hell.

i was bored. i know. not as far fetched as the one that was posted before. so i figured i would make something more conceveable. i mean. the damage that other blade is suppose to do. is just stupidly insane. this one is insane. but not stupidly so. im going to check back on this. and if i like the replies. i will create a hole set to go with this sword. god armor, god shield (for those who use it) a nother off hand weapon. a staff for the casters.. if i like the posts. ill make up those things. i have to much time and i need a way to pass the time lol

Was lootable for a short period of time on Wow Classic PTR 1.13.7 as a Runic Demonic Blade just outside Stormwind near catapults.
