a good boon for warriors; i was seriously disappointed when i realised i couldnt get this for my paladin. after all, while wyrmslayer pauldrons are better, i wouldnt mind a free blue that serves as a quest reward. This is a good replacement for Herod's Shoulder unless you got some other plate shoulder for the amour bonuses. Big Bad Pauldrons, while easy to get for warriors, isn't even as good as Emerald Peak Spaulders which you get from a quest in Feralas. This is clearly a good shoulder equip for not just warriors, but paladins as well - if they could even get it, of course.

I play a Level 60 Warrior, and of these rewards, only the Flask is going to be of use to me.

Those of you considering the Plate, that's fine, it Is decent Plate, but you'll find better in the long run.

The Flask is really quite handy though, +75 STR and Health Regen For 1 Minute in 6. You can use that for quite some time.

I'm gonna have to go with the helm for my fury warrior. Sure the % to hit on these is fine...but the stats and armor really can't compare with Bloodsoaked Pauldrons, which are my new goal for DPS-ing shoulders. Also, the trinket is pretty nice, but I'd rather use my Blackhand's Breadth/Hand of Justice combo for constant use than use the flask with its cooldown. The trinket also isn't anywhere near as good as a Frostwolf rank 6/Vigilance Charm combo for tanking, so it's of no use there, either.

So ultimately, because there are better trinkets and because the shoulders can be replaced with a better drop (for level 60's who run ZG regularly, anyway), the helm is the best reward, unless you already have a Lionheart Helm or are close to getting one.

Sometimes ya just gotta consider the overall lifespan of your loot. In terms of equipment life I look at it this way:
Diamond Flask > Fury Visor > Razor Shoulders

Even at 50 you can get shoulders that are adequate replacements for these. The Fury Visor is harder to replace but it is replaceable. The Trinket will last the longest depending on what Trinkets you have or will eventually have. I currently use Blackhands Breadth which I never remove nowadays. On the other ear its a mix of Corporal Insignia, Peasant Caller and Cannonball Runner. Usually swap 'em around while one is cooling down. I would throw the Flask into rotation and its generally more useful in PvE. In an Undead heavy instance I use the Seal of the Dawn. I'd use the Fury Visor right now (currently I'm being silly and using the Eye of Rend) but it would get replaced, possibly in the near future, so I will take the Flask.

I'd say if your character is an engineer, take the Fury Visor. You already have enough trinkets as it is, no need for additional clutter. If you're a smith go for the Flask. You can make Darkrune to tide you over till that special day that Lionheart drops.

by far the flask is most useful, +75 strenghth and health regen is pretty frieken useful for every 5 minutes of play. and besides if ur a hardcore player, u might use the helm or shoulders for maybe 3 weeks or a month tops, think about the flask.

I am reading a lot of "Visor easily replaced by Lionheart." Are you kidding? "Easy"? How many f'ing hours a day do you have? Not to mention the fact that the (EPIC!) plans for that haven't even dropped yet on every single server, which means a lot of people just surf this site for better gear and then plug it like it ain't sh*t. The helm is outstanding. It's not "easily" replaced by anything. All three of these are nice rewards, certainly better than the Paly quest crap. Of course at the end of the day Valor trumps the Plate, so the people backing the trinket are technically correct, but the plate can still last you 10 levels.

As for ripping people who want pictures, don't be a f*cking nazi about it. Some people are artsie style/drama queens (like them) and some people are boring numbers-only dorks (like you). Translation: live and let live.

EDIT: Uh, why did everyone forget Stoneform Shoulders? (Including myself, lol.) A much easier item to get than Lionheart Helm (seeing as how, you know, some servers don't even HAVE L.H. Helm), therefore making the Fury Visor a smarter long-term buy. Even for Fury spec'ed Warriors (like mine), 1% to hit is not worth giving up 200 armor and 1.5 "levels" worth of Defense.

Show me another pair of plate shoulders with +hit? There's only one that I can think of, and that's the abyssal plate spaulder random drops in Silithus.

For fury warriors, +hit > everything. Fury warrs miss a lot, and by stacking +hit, they drastically improve their hit to miss ratio and DPS goes up a lot as a result.

After all, AP and crit is worthless if you can't hit the mob. =P

These shoulders are decent for their level but if you're looking for +hit then go for abyssal. Pretty much identical except 13 str/agi/sta and about 100 more armor.

Otherwise pick up the BOE rare with 14 str/sta, 9 agi.

My problem is I can't decide between helm or trinket... I have no plans to shell out for Lionheart and I HATE cooldown trinkets. I have enough cooldowns to worry about, I'd rather use Blackhands and Guard Capt (or w/e it's called) until I can get HoJ.

People if you cannot get some good shoulders i suggest you use these decent stats and they dont look bad. If you have some awesome shoulders like Wyrmslayer spaulders screw these get the dam trinket! but otherwise these are ok

these shoulders or the trinket are the things to pick the helm is replaced quickly and the trinket is good if ur in trouble but these stats are nice for any specced warrior

Do you know when is the next upgrade for your shoulders? For Arms warriors its ZG for Fury warriors which need as much +hit as they can get is hmmm Conqueror's from AQ40 (lol try and get them) rank 13 Shoulders (yeah right) and last but not least Dreadnought Shoulders (Easily Farmable!)
Ok i agree shoulders are crap take the helm and enjoy it for the next 6 lvls...

P.S. There are also Darksoul Soulders (24 stamina +1 hit but if you want to spend 300g to buy 10 souldarite be my guest) and Abyssal Plate Epaulets (which are more rare then Dreadnought Shoulders)

I'd gladly be your guest. If you have reasonable guildmates, they'll let you collect the Souldarites from ZG, or help you farm dungeon set items, Black Lotus etc. Even though I have a full time job, I could get the shoulders in about two weeks while doing the usual guild runs, no farming at all. Skip Razorsteel Shoulders, go get that Diamond Flask - it rocks.

I'll tell you right now if the trinket didn't own, I'd take them in a heartbeat. Omg I lose 1 str, get 1 more agi, and lose 7 stam for a hit! Whatever will I do with more chance to hit? Hit may not be that important for an arms warrior, but it is a fury warriors bread and butter. With one more hit (4 currently) I have a 100% chance to hit against a level 60 mod. That means no misses, just dodges, parries, whatever.

If you are a fury warrior and plan on staying that way, get the shoulders instead of the visor. The visor may look real tempting, but it'll eventually, possibly soon, get replaced. There is almost nothing better than these shoulders for dw fury dpsing.

These shoulders can be replaced rather easily if you plan ahead. Honor is permenant now, and as such, the pvp shoulders are quite possible now. Alternately, you could opt for the AB shoulders, which no longer have a rep requirement. I don't know what trinkets might be available to replace the diamond flask (blackhand's and pvp maybe...) so I will probably get the flask on my warrior. Hopefully she will hit AV enough to buy herself a GM 2hander before she hits 60, with change to spare.

Ok, if you get these shoulders and still want a good helm for around lvl 50, do the quest line that starts with the Screecher Spirits, and with the final quest you can get the Avenguard helm.

I've just been doing this quest and have been thinking about what to take as a reward, and I think I go for the trinket, shoulders can be replaced by Stockade Pauldrons and helm by Lionheart Helm, the trinket could be replaced by the lvl 51 (?) epic trinket, but tbh this trinket seems a lot better, 6min CD and the buff is for 1min!

I'm Arms-specced and am currently wearing Wyrmslayer Spaulders. I don't really see these as being an upgrade, although the post about Miss Rate seems important regarding them. What are Arms Warriors taking? I'm assuming the Flask, but I can be forgetful when it comes to activating trinkets! Was thinking it or the Fury Visor even as Arms. Thanks in advance.

Nice shoulders. I think the helmet is better, though. Plate helms with crit arent numerous. And the helm has +1 to hit and crit.

Unless you know someone who can make Lionheart helm, the helmet is the best choice, IMO.

These razorsteels look bad too. two steel plate ssquares on each shoulders. Meh.

+hit is fantastic for fury builds now, and iirc the only other options for shoulders with hit are:

abyssal
darksoul (more sta and armor but no str or agi)
truestrike (2% hit and equivalent attack power but far less armor)
wyrmhide (2% hit but even less armor and nothing else)

which means that until you're lucky enough to get into endgame epics or a pair of abyssals, these are the best dps shoulders you'll come across. there aren't even any epics with +hit yet, while lionheart is a relatively easy upgrade from fury visor in comparison.

(the trinket's very nice too, but i prefer passive bonuses like blackhand+rune myself. shoulders were an easy choice :)

These shoulders are great, however the trinket option, 鑽石水瓶, is amazing and will last you much longer than these shoulders will.
This makes these shoulders the "wrong" choice as a reward. You should of course pick what you like in the end, but do think about it.
