OK a piece of this drops and there is a Hunter, a Rogue & a Druid in the group who want it. Here's how it works.

Druid, if you are playing a Feral Druid and use cat form, this works for you. Leather is the best armor you can get and it suits you character, happy rolling.

Rogue, if it is better than what you have, go for it. Once again leather armor is the best armor you can get so hope for high rolls. Do not be too upset if you are beaten by a Feral Druid, leather is the best they get as well. They may not be able to make as much use out of it as you will (in theory), but it�s still the best they get.

Hunter, unless both the Feral Druid & Rogue pass on the piece you DO NOT roll. Why? Because after level 40 - I know this will be tough for some of you to understand but work with me here - YOU WEAR MAIL ARMOR! This is not the best equipment you can get. It�s more than likely a fill-in until you find mail armor to replace the leather you are wearing. This would be like Druids & Rogues taking cloth pieces from mages, warlocks & priests for stat bonuses. If you are alliance you are the only class that uses mail after level 40. If you are horde you have to compete with Shamans, who will usually defer any large +agility gear to you. That said if the Rogue and the Druid pass, happy rolling. If you use it in the BG or PvP your opponent thanks you for making yourself an easier kill.

I know that there are plenty of Hunters out there who get this and I am more than happy to group with them, because hunters rock. For the rest who see anything +agility and believe it was automatically created for them. Remember there are 2 other classes who actually need leather agility gear, being it�s the best they are going to get. Stick with mail, it's what your class wears after level 40. Accept it and move on.

I agree, I've been telling people for so long devilsaur are unbeatable blues (SC/blademaster/ss) - but finally I will conceed, these > devilsaur for the above mentioned reasons.

Devilsaur legs : Offensive
148 Armor
12 Stam = 120 Health
48 Attack power
1% to Crit chance
2% to hit if you have the set.

Blademaster legs : Defensive
154+(2x5) = 164 Armor
5 agi = 5 Attack power
5 agi = 0,172 Crit %
5 agi = 0,345 Dodge %
1% to hit
1% to crit
2% dodge

8 agi enchant :
+16 armor
+8 Attack power
+0,276 Crit
+0,552 Dodge %

For Pure damage, you're still better off with Devilsaur.
But on overal value, the blooddrenched leggings are definitely better.
More stamina, More crit, high dodge, slightly less AP, more armor.
the only thing you'd miss out is hit chance, but there is plenty of gear to compensate for that. you only need +5 really.

I am not going to complain over druids/hunters/rogues as is most of the time seen in these messages.

What I am concerned with it the fact of the "estimated level" of this gear over the NS legs.

How are the NS legs ranked 66 and the BD Legs 71? I do also understand that one is Epic and one is rare, however, shouldn't the "estimated" level of the gear be reflective of the stats and not just seem ... random?

Comparison:
Lets consider dps first...

Leggings
+35 agi
=> 70 rap => 5 dps
=> 0.66 crit%

Legplates
+24 agi
=> 48 rap => 3.4 dps
=> 0.45 crit%
+1 crit%

Therefore
1.6 dps more on leggings
0.79 crit% more on legplates

How do these compare?
Let's work out what your base dps needs to be for the 0.79 crit% to be worth the same as the 1.6 dps:

Base dps = 1.6dps * (100/0.79crit%) = 202.5 dps

If you have the talent to increase crit damage, then:
Base dps = 1.6dps * (100/(0.79crit%*1.5)) = 135 dps.

So as far as I can tell, provided your base dps is > 202.5 (135 with talents) then the legplates will gain you more dps (although the damage will be spikier).

(I think base dps is weapon dps+ammo dps+dps from ranged attack power. So probably the number in the tooltip on your character sheet under ranged damage will do.)

I still have leather pieces in my set, as the agility *is* more important by far than the armour for my dps (marks/survival) build. However, empathy for other players will prevent me rolling on this if leatherwearers wanted it (especially as I raid almost exclusively in guild/community).

1 agi is 2 ranged AP for hunters but they need 20 AP for 1dps,,,not 14 like a rogue

Aren't these kinda subpar for ZG loot?

35 agi (~1.12% crit, 35 attack power - for rogue)
150 hp

Compared to Devilsaur legs:

46 attack power
1% crit
120 hp

Unless you find the extra dodge from agi important, pretty lame ass upgrade. And devilsaur legs been around since forever. Compare the cloth mask the same boss drops, which blows any other blue cloth dps hat out of the water.

Zul'Gurub is not a endgame instance, it's puggable, you dont need a lolzproctwarrior to tank in it.

YOU don't have a right to tell others what they should or shouldnt do/roll on.

But it's completely moot seeing as you will never even see this instance, have fun in Scholo.

nightslayer and bloodfang are quite a bit better than this, but until then, there isn't much else to get for a rogue. if the rogue has access to MC/bwl, i'd say to just wait for those leggings, since these are only a tiny bit better than most of the other blues available at 60.

for all hunters, 1% crit takes over 50 agility. dunno where you're getting your info from, but shizz if +1% = 8 agi id have like 40%+ crit, which as great as it would be, isnt gonna happen. not to mention i would never let a shaman leave my side with his agility totem ;).

my crit rate with 350~ agi is about 18-20% (not including any buffs/potions) depending on where im at.

Hunters want AP, crit, stamina and everythign they fancy.

When hunters can wear mail, it means; "Dont touch leather, since that is used by other classes that have fewer equipment options."

8 Agi is 16 AP too, and 0,15% chance to crit.
Thats an overall better DPS increase than just 1 chance to crit in most cases.

I can't wait for these things to drop, because as a Feral Druid, these are some of the best pants in the game. ZG seems to me to be druid heaven. I have the other two Blooddrenched pieces...all three combined with Nat Pagle's Fish Terminator would be an amazing feral druid setup.

I smell another rogue riot. Once again blizz has made the rogue item better for hunters than the hunter equivalent:
血污腿甲 1crit vs 11ag. Since 1crit ~= 8ag for a surv specced hunter, I like the leather option better.
