Yeah when it comes to what are better these or destruction its a close call. if another hunter had the BS legs and thses dropped i would give thses to him for sure... I like my destruction plus I have the libram of voracity on them already +8 agi. It is a close call...

P.S. The fact that you count the increased armor for a hunter is sad. We shouldnt be getting hit in the first place, plus 39 armor isn't going to do jack!

Anyone know why the level of this item is 60 and yet the listed level in the Graphic says 71? Obviously these legs arent level 71 quality, since they dont even compare with GS legs which our listed lvl 66 quality.

Is that something thottbot does? Just a question

If I had them both put before me I would take the bloodstained hands down.

My hunter is built for PvE only. I only PvP to keep sergeant rank, and that's it. So as far as whether they are better for PvP, I'm not going to comment.

PvE the higher agility is very pretty, and since I go for high agi and crit chance, these are my dream leggings, if you discount Epic sets.

But comparing their stats to their accessability, the Destruction wins for me. Zul'Gurub takes an organised 20-man raid, DM tribute can be done in a 5man pug. So yes, Destruction is probably what most hunter will go for, untill they can get into Zul'Gurub to get these.

As for only being Hunter, ha! A shaman is intitled to these, just as much as we are. And whilst some of us may not like it, it's the fact of life. If you don't want a Shaman rolling against you on mail, reroll an Alliance hunter.

Got 'em today, not THAT much better than my former Knight-Captain's Leggings though. But, more intellect, more agility, and I got rid of that damn +1% to DODGE-thing.

I'm happy ;).

I had leguards of destruction, and then these dropped when we killed jin'do (Im alliance) no one else needed, guy in our group had the leguards of destruction and he sed he preferred them, so i took these and find them alot better, ive still got my other pair for back-up but these legs are really good, also good for enhancement shammy imo

its time for blizz to change hunters armor or shammies armor to plate/leather to stop the arguing about mail crap and just for all u shamans out there us hunters need agil mor than u do u get off our pants because legs with + dmg and healing on spells are for shammies not these non - spell only stat legs

Those legs are 1 of the best legs before GS , if ur guild can do ZG, get those+ the head, chest and so on.. u gonna rock ! :P

For your information noboday can say its not for shaman, since low level I have been nothing but enhancement and agility with crit sets, i now have 28% crit unbuffed and 31% with my agility totem down (hmmm....shamans dont need agility? yet blizzard gives them a totem with 70 agility?) stupid hunters. I have had up to 36% crit chance and pull more aggro then Hunters, Rogues and Most epiced out warriors. Windfurry with our Strenght totem and Agility totems gives us by far a HUGE DPS, For an elemental or resto shammy i agree these pants are crap, but for Enhancement AGILITY AND CRIT IS THE KEY learn to play a shaman before you make dumb remarks, however im not saying a hunter can't have just as much us for it.

These are great for shamans i agree (im alliance and i know this gasp!) but hunters get them first im sure you agree, i'd use these over my beaststalkers if they wern't beastmasters :P, i have great gear but im sure by the time i see these i'll have giantstalkers but thats not the point, and i belive the agility totem also helps us hunters so ;), gotta love them totems in raids ^^.

I have an alli hunter but i can understand, shamans need agility, like almost all classes need agility but hunters need agility more than shamans,wariors,rogues etc. If u shamans have another pants that gives more intelect, stamina, spirit than this one and u change it for this you are totally noobs.

I got them tonight in ZG. They look exactly the same as the leggings of destruction graphics wise, which is disappointing. I believe they are better than LOD for the higher agility alone. THey also have more armor. Sure I lose 50hp and 30 mana, but I'll survive without that, considering crit went up a bit and so did ranged attack power, dodge, and armor.

And btw none of the shamens wanted them and the other hunter present had giantstalker legs.

Has nobody noticed that these are near-BiS for dps Warriors for a long time? The 24 agility adds up to an extra 1.2% crit on top of the explicitly stated 1% crit. How many other leg pieces in the game grant +2.2% hit/crit? How many of those can you get without spending thousands of gold or PvPing?
