The Bloodstained items are obviously great items for both hunters AND shamans.

If a hunter has the possibility to get Giantstalker items, and a shaman wants the bloodstained item for PvP/melee I see no reason why the shaman shouldn't be allowed to roll on it. Since the hunter would eventually exchange this item for a similiar one.

Unlike the beaststalker set, which hunters should be entitled to, this items is not part of a set and does not have bonuses benefitial only by hunters.

Both hunters and shamans could improve their performance by using this item. The main difference is that hunters can get the equivalent (Actually a tad better, but they have a lot of stats in common.) Giantstalker set.
This would be the shamans chance to get the PvP/melee items they've been yearning for, "Giantstalker for Dummies".

There's a reason the people at blizz have chosen not to make this a class restricted item. It's made for both shamans and hunters.
But it's up to you, and your group, to decide whether a shaman should be allowed to roll on this or not.

IF you're alliance go ahead and say 'to hell with shaman!' cause obviously they wont be rolling on this in your group. I'd say this can go either way for shaman or hunters, but hunters have the giantstalker helm and lots of other options, shaman we get +damage/healing gear. We shaman dont get jack, let us have this one damn thing! The other bloodstained yeah go ahead and goto hunters, but agility is also good on shaman. Only takes 20 aglity for 1% crit boost, and then theres the dodge rate too. I say let shaman roll on this, if there's no agility and youre a hunter quit your !@#$%ing, thats all you do.

There is no debate that this is a hunter item.

While both classes may use, the +AP gives the most benefit to the hunter.

But that doesn't really matter, when it comes down to it. Most guilds will allow shamans to roll, or bid DKP.

Furthermore, it's not a once in a lifetime drop. You'll see pleanty of these drop. So don't get down on yourself when you lose the roll.

even though im alliance, this is good for both, for those who say hunters need agillity, we have like a 1-52 crit%/agi ratio so its not much worth it to get just a few more agi when the item has +attack power which also benifets the ranged attack power of hunter, id let a shaman roll on it but its not a limited item

I am alliance so I don't have to worry about the arguement, except on these forums. Now while I get that this is great PvP gear for enchance shamans, it is also the best PvP gear for a hunter (very close second only to Crown of Destruction, which most will never see, and warriors steal most of the time.) But for all around PvE gear, this ranks slightly below only Dragonstalker, Giantstalker, and the above mentioned Crown.

If you are in a group with hunters that have any of these items, then it should be everyone rolling for these for PvP gear. As most people who are taking this down are doing it as a guild, if this is a PvE upgrade for any of the hunters in the group it should go to them.

Most of the posters on here don't realize that most of these instance are done as a guild, and any good guild works to upgrade everyone for PvE before PvP. Once your guild starts gearing up from lots of succesful runs then you will be able to farm these bosses easily and get everyone both PvE and PvP gear.

I am a enhancement shaman, and if this dropped of the hexxer I'll roll "N" on it, if my raid lets me ofc. Lets just say that if they dont want me to roll on it and it goes to a hunter, I will we pissed off, give us shamans a chance to wtfbbqwindfuryprocCRIT alliance etc...

i like shammans, infact i have an alt shamman, but cant they all just stick to ele/resto, PLEEEEEAASE! hunter i dont spam i want your healing and spell crit gear, gtfo of hunter DPS gear, if you wanna be usful, pwwwwese stal ele/resto, please :P

Why do hunters always think they can take whatever they want. I have an elemental/enhance shammy and this would fit right into his stats "like a glove" but if I were to roll on it I would be booted faster than chuck norris.

as of patch 2.0 this will go to a hunter or a raid spec enhance shaman which is now a viable raid spec.

Given that the other Bloodstained pieces known drop in Zul'Gurub, I would believe it's safe to assume so does this. Not sure which boss drops but my guild is starting to do this instance as a filler since we can't always get everyone into MC in a week. Also, since there are so many good drops, I think we are planning on working up a farming schedule.

Look @ it. if u add +8 agility it's better than Crown of destruction. drop from ragnaros. adn this 1 is blue, that 1 is epic :s

毀滅王冠 Some more stamina, but more intellect, and fire resistance is useless in pvp, and u use gianstalker / dragon stalker for instance.. so, gg blizz with this sexeh item. easy ragnaros drop to get ;)
