I too experience the lack of weapon proc. I have a fury war on Daggerspine, it probobly procs one time per 2-3 other mobs when I'm solo'ing. It'll proc on a boss of course, but only cause your hitting it soo much. Its a decent item, nothing great, or impressive, just fun when it procs while I have rend and deep wounds going with flurry. If your a smith u can add a weight stone to it since its a fist weapon it counts as impact / blunt, that'll up its damage for about 30min worth. Going for it with my rogue just for fun. It doesn't hit hard, but it hits often so its only good depending on your spec, and style of play. My usual off-hand is still Vanquisher's Sword when I go BG.

Things normally proc when they hit faster/more frequently, and considering this is an offhand weapon that's got 1.8 speed, it's kinda slow for an offhander (for Rogues anyways).

I normally prefer a fast offhander that I put deadly poison on so that I can have either Mindnumbing or Cripling poison on the main and the stacking poison on the offhand.... but the stacking poison only really becomes well-used if the offhand weapon's fast.

Same theory here. And I must admit, this kinda is a slow weapon considering where it goes....

But hey, wear it for a level or two and pretend you're Wolverine or something. Then you can shard it or vendor-trash it for 3g and some change.

Yeah, I have to agree, the entrance sections (Purple, Orange) are intended for those in their mid 40s, but you really need a few 50s to get through the Princess section, It's just too hard to do wihout em. I'm a level 50 rogue, and I have this weapon. I like the proc, although it makes gouge/backstab difficult. I've done Celebras twice, most of the time we skip him, but when i killed him on the second time i did, this dropped. It's a nice rogue wep to replace the black menace until BS, so any rogues that are into DPS should try and grab it.

drops off orange. i have thrash blade i think it is better. i just look at thew DPS =P i mean does tit matter that much

I use this one currently in combination with vilerend slicer which is main hand. Haven't seen proc with slicer yet but the claw procs pretty frequently, too bad the poison dmg is very low.

ah well, might as well use these until i can get my hands on the dal rend's set.

PS: yes, this weapon does suffer from the reduced dmg/accuracy of being an off-hand weapon even tho it's off-hand specific.

also to note, that it doesn't have the particle effect as standard, thats an enchantment on that claw.

I use it as my off hand weapon -- fast, procs a lot on rogues, and keeps a steady flow of rage generation.
