I wouldnt see the 5/8 Bonus as a free Vigor, cause there something ya get when ya DO spend 31 assass points, and thats called Seal Fate (100% chance of 2 combo points when i move that adds combo points crits) ... NOW, I'm not saying that +10 energy isnt "like" vigor, but as anyone with Seal Fate will tell you, its like crack, ya cant give it up. I am currently raiding for 5/8 so i can get myself 120 energy, and feel the power. Preparation is over rated :O ... there i said it first lol.

(Great Chest piece and the skull on the front makes it one of the best looking IMO).

I dont know why its here but since i actualy have 5 NS peices ill let you all know something. ITS SO NICE. Its As benificial to combat builds as it is to Seal fate vigor Builds. dont believe me Respec get vigor and wield a sword. feal the power of 110 energy.

The +10 energy is the best 5 peice set bonus in the game bar none!

P.S. i only roll a rogue so i wouldnt know if that comment i just made is actualy true...

Alright, first off I wish you people would quit posting about items which you'll never own. Second off don't post when you're ignorant of the subject at hand. Nightslayer is a tier 2 set of armor. Yes it is epic, and no Lady Belephebe it is most certainly not crafted. It DOES drop in Strat, BRS, and Scholo. Blackrock drops the tier 1 sets. As for Onyxia she drops TIER 3 and since the tier 3 armor for rogues is called Bloodfang Armor that would rule out the fact that this drops there now wouldn't children? Now please quit taking up space in an area where most people look for helpful information.

Ok, heres how it works...definitely. All rare sets are in the high lvl instances, while the tier 1 epic sets are in Onyxia/Molten Core and finaly the tier 2 epic sets were taken out of the game until the new raid zone(forgot name) is put in. Then you can get the tier 2 epics from that!

This drops from Golemagg the Incinerator. As do all of the Tier 1 epic chest pieces after the patch. Tier 2 has been removed from MC, with the exception of all tier 2 helmets on Onyxia, until Blackwing Lair. Also, tier 1 and tier 2 sets will both be getting buffed accordingly to set themselves apart from each other, as well as lifting epics above the rares. Nightslayer will have a noticeable gain over shadowcraft, while bloodfang will have higher stats most likely, and changed proc on the helmet to a non-breakable stun.

I see a lot of mis-informed posts on here. Being in a guild that raids and clears MC weekly, here is the info on rogue epic sets.

Nightslayer is found in MC. ONLY in MC. Helm drops from Garr. BP from Golemagg. Legs from Magmadar. Gloves from Gehennas. Boots from Shazzrah. Shoulders from Sulfuron Harbringer. Belt and Bracers are random drops from mobs throughout the zone. Nightslayer is considered a tier 1 epic set.

Bloodfang was removed from the game until BWL (Blackwing Lair), minus the helm and legs. The helm drops from Onyxia. The legs drop from Ragnaros. Bloodfang is considered a tier 2 epic set.

15 golemagg kills or so and no nightslayer chestpiece, 3 nefarians no bloodfang, i understand the nefarian side but the golemagg thing is poor, so im running around with a lame chestpiece.. -.- its ashame some classes have there tier1 pieces disenchanted and we havent seen a single one!

very unlucky.. :X considering we had 2x Bloodfang belt off vaelastrasz 3 weeks in a row!

from onyxia and the molten core.

the korean guild that dropped onyxia got 3 pieces of epic armor from the druid, warrior, and rogue sets.

as for brs, scholo, and stratholme, these are the locations where shadowcraft armor drops. the epic armor does not drop from these instances.

i hope that clears it up a bit.

You, sir, are an idiot.

All class Rare sets (Shadowcraft in this case) come from Strath/Scholo/BRS.

All class Epic sets (Nightslayer and Bloodfang in this case) come from Onxyia/Molten Core ONLY.

They have not, and will never, drop in the lower instances. Don't call other people out and then be woefully misinformed when "correcting" them.

i have a 60 orc rogue myself, my guild is taking a break from end game until the burning crusade, so since i cant do anything, i have been working on full pvp rare, but dam i want nightslayer soo badly, mainly because of the way it looks, it looks soooo wicked IMO! best thing to do is get 5/8 of this and VIGOR and you can have +20 energy, thats a total of 120 energy, talk bout pwnage =))
