I've finally stooped to a new low trying to get this item; I've resorted to karma.

I've run SM multiple times with different alts, and have recently taken to re-running it with my 60 Warlock and 35 (originally 31 when we started, 3 days ago) Warrior, after finding the Belt originally.

I managed to get the gloves and the gauntlets, as well as the Raging Beserker's Helm, Ravager and Herod's Shoulder, even the Tabard of the Scarlet Crusade. Still running Armory and Cath to try and get the Leggings from either Herod or Mograine.

I know where each piece comes from (at least according to Thott and Alakazam), and have now run each of the three (decent) areas (that is, Lib, Arm and Cath) about 12 times each on my Warrior, and a few more times on my 'Lock (counting original runs at level 33+, and now the farming runs at level 60), with no luck finding any of the pieces I need.

So in desperation, I resorted to karma to get me what I wanted. I've taken to, on every run I go on, allowing the friend we usually take with us to have everything green that drops. I take all the vendor trash, he gets all the greens and blues (including BoP boss items that I don't need). Hell, even a 0.1% item, Archon's Breastplate dropped, and I said he could have it. I'm that desperate.

I figure that with all this 'good' karma I've built up, if I don't get something out of it, I'm gonna have to start ganking lowbie Alliance members to balance it out. Please don't make me resort to that, karma. Just give me my damn Leggings, Boots and Chest that I've worked so hard for.

I am in a guild with all 70s and I usually get run through a bunch of stuff like i.e. SM. I got the Scarlet Wrists and the Scarlet Belt in my first run, went on another run and picked up the Scarlet Gloves and then the Scarlet Leggins. I went to Ironforge to check if there was anymore Scarlet peices in there and I saw the chest peice in there for 30g so I bought them (I have around 125g at 37). Now I have never seen the Scarlet Boots drop or in the AH..If you see these please send me a tell on Dalvengyr the name is Montrasor

got today in libary, Just droped of some random mob. The list is right imo. bought the greens for AH for bout 1.5g total. Got herod shoulders and legs but now i need chest =/

lvl 37 shaman btw.

Is the drop list messed up? There's a lot of Dire Maul entries... Also 1 in 10.000 for a set piece that early in the game seems a bit harsh.

Okay I am Gnome Warrior and I have been farming SM for the past 3 days with some friends.

I paid 10G for a level 60 to run me thru 2 parts of Sm the first time. 5 min into the armory The Butcher dropped the mage said I could have all the drops soI sold it for 80G.

Past 2 days I have ran it 7 times. Got the helm and shoulders from Herod. I got the shield from Morgrain and If I wanted the set I would need to get the chest and leggings. And on my server I sold these boots for 200G. Overpricing twinks is so fun.

On my SM cath run tonight, both the boots and gloves dropped, I rolled need for both and got neither, because for some reason I never win need rolls. Anyway, I think the drop rate is higher than .01.

I was farming them today right before work running lowbies and I told them I'm only here for scarlet set ill pass on everything else......so I'm farming and this little ^&*! pallie rolled need.....-_^ I won the roll any ways as for the pallie........../boot

I only need this and the Chest piece to finish my 'Scarlet-y' look. Figures, right? The hardest two to get.

Well, I'm offered a spot in a group for Scarlet Monestary: Armory. As soon as I'm in the group, I say 'Hey, I don't need anything Herod drops anymore. If the boots drop, that's all I need. Dibs.' The group's hunter got so pissed. Immediately spewing insults and swearing at me, he declared me a nooblet for wanting a set of mail boots at level 38, being so close to plate. The team leader chuckled, saying the Scarlet set was useless anyway. He didn't mind whether or not I wanted the boots, but the Hunter apparently left out the fact that maybe I'm not goin' so gung-ho to get to level 40. Maybe I wanna hit 39, stay there a bit, work up some honor, and have fun destorying in BGs looking like I killed the entire Monestary and looted their armor.

I'd rather have the boots not drop for me at all than for them to drop and lose them in a roll to a stupid hunter who had better boots, but wanted blue-name rare boots, so I left.

If you'll look at the set link for Allakhazam, you'll see there is no Helm or Shoulder for the set.
That is because theand are the matches for the set.

Bot the Helm and Shoulder of choice to match this set drop from Herod, as well as which is a 1337 2h-Axe. Just kinda clearin up any questions you guys had.

And yes, this set (plus the Herod Items) are still good on a Shaman or Hunter that has hit 40, but doesn't want to buy all new items.

man ive done this stupid instance like 30 times and these have never droped! all i want is the boots and wrist and i would look like herod when i get the sheild and the boots and green wrist and i would have 3077 Armor :)

On my sever these things go for 120g but what lvl can aford that!And i have done SM so many times i have lost count.Good set to get!

im a 37 shammy and theese drops, without thinking i needed. i won =D then without thinking again i said "YES! THIS WILL FUND MY MOUNT!" not smart. i got kicked lol. oh well it was totally worth it. anyway
