3 points in 極寒冰霜 is what really make level 19 Mages a menace to deal with in PVP, with quick 寒冰箭 casts you can easily keep several enemy players slowed.

2 points in 霜寒刺骨 will round out your talent spec and the chance for all of your slows to potentially freeze your enemies will give you a lot of control over enemy players.

19 Twink Mage PlaystyleKey Abilities

寒冰箭: Your main ability will be 寒冰箭 to keep enemies slowed and controlled, most of the time you'll be using rank 1 for a faster cast speed.

冰霜新星: The Mage's toolkit is all about control and having an AoE freeze effect fits right in.

變形術: As one of the more iconic crowd control abilities, 變形術 adds even more control to the level 19 Mage's toolkit.

解除次級詛咒: There aren't an overwhelming amount of curses in the 10-19 bracket but, you can dispel the ones that are there.

火球術: it's worth noting that at level 18 you get rank 4 火球術 which in combination with a Fire damage set can be a lot of fun.

Faction Choice

Race: Whether you are going for the best racial for PVP or the most aesthetically pleasing appearance, you're going to be limited to your Faction's Races.

Faction Specific Quest Rewards: Some quests are Faction specific, meaning that if it is an Alliance only quest you won't be able to get it on Horde and vice versa. It's important to research what quest rewards are available to you so that you can get the quests done at early a level as possible.

Best Alliance Race For a 19 Twink Mage

Gnome: Probably the most complimentary Race when playing a Mage for PVP, you'll gain access to 逃命專家 which will allow you to dispel the various "roots" that you'll have to deal with at the 10-19 bracket. It's also worth noting that 開闊思維 is the best racial for casters on Alliance as well, this along with 工程學專精 makes Gnome the best option for Alliance twinks.

Human: This is the race you go if you don't like the way Gnomes look, you might gain a slight edge on Rogues in duels using 感知, but I wouldn't put much stock into this Race.

Best Horde Race For a 19 Twink Mage

Undead: Since Tauren is not an available Race for Mages, you should definitely be looking toward Undead for 亡靈意志 to help you deal with Warlocks in the 10-19 bracket.

Troll: Personally Trolls are my favorite looking Race, unfortunately they don't have access to the same level of Racials as the other 3 Horde Races do. It's worth noting that they have high base agi as well as 狂暴.

Managing Your Experience

Explore Zones: Although it might sound tedious to do so, explore every zone you think you might go to on your 19 twink. This is actually quite an important because certain quest chains can only be started at level 19 and in some cases can even give you 95% of the level; the last thing you want to do is accidentally level up by stepping into a new zone.

Don't Equip Your BoEs Until The Very End: Many items that twinks use are Bind on Equip and can be equipped with no cost to your experience. With these items, I wouldn't equip them until you are 19, finished with everything else, and ready to PVP.

Do Dungeons and Quests As Early As Possible: If you need an item from a Dungeon you should have a friend run you as soon as possible, it may take you several runs to get a particular item. In addition, Quests and/or Dungeon Quests should be completed as soon as you can pick up the quest, most of the time you can finish all of your quests before level 18. It's worth noting that certain quests will require level 19 to begin so you will want to have everything else completed before then.

Be Patient: There's a lot to complete on a 19 twink and you should be ready to invest the time necessary to make sure you are happy with your finished character. For instance, you are able to complete things like professions, the STV fishing event, as well as the STV arena event all at level 10, there's no reason to rush these things.

稀有魚類 - 迪森皇后魚: If you happen to fish up a 迪森皇后魚 you can return to Fishbot and claim your 高強度恆金漁線. Although this doesn't actually give you a twink item, you can take pride in having collected something else for your hobby character.

Most notably, every chest will contain a single 競技場高手飾物 which will begin the quest 競技場高手 that can be turned into 小個子約翰·米斯瑞爾.

小個子約翰·米斯瑞爾 can be found nearby in the spectator seats opposite the entrance of the arena. Once you bring him an 競技場高手飾物 he will ask you to bring him 11 more for a total of 12, upon completing such a grandiose task he will reward you with 競技場大師飾物.

綠色護目鏡: Before you get your fishing hat, this is going to be your best option for a helm and it requires you to max Engineering. If RNG isn't in your favor, you might be using this for quite some time while you are trying to catch a 基佛天使魚.

自動淨化裝置: This is another item from Engineering that can hold one of your trinket slots while you are working toward your 競技場大師飾物.

重磅青銅炸彈: With this, Engineering gives any twink character the ability to stun enemies as well as deal a bit of extra fire damage. This item is extremely useful similar to how useful grenades are for max-level PVP.

明亮的小珠 or 水下誘魚器: Lures are a consumable that will increase your fishing skill by a dramatic amount for a short while. These should be attached at all times during the fishing tournament.

Twinks are an excellent in-game "hobby", your character will reflect the amount of time, effort, and gold that you invest into the character. Getting the absolute best gear on a 19 twink can be very expensive and very time consuming.

There are a lot of extracurricular activities that go into creating a 19 twink, you should be patient and plan ahead so that you don't accidentally level your character to 20. Events like the Gurubashi Arena, The STV Fishing Tournament, and Dungeons can be done early on to avoid unnecessary experience gains.

Grinding max level reputations can give you powerful pieces of gear and flashy items to show off your dedication. Grinding reputations becomes very popular among 19 twinks during The Burning Crusade expansion.

Engineering, Fishing, and First Aid are required to make a twink in the 10-19 bracket. Using these professions will allow you to gain access to unique pieces of gear, as well as powerful consumables to aid you in combat.

Until you are able to get 納特·帕格的超級釣魚靴, 血紅便鞋 or Greenweave Sandals of the Eagle would be BiS I think.

Also, 語音增強模組 is probably best until the 哨兵徽章 can be purchased, and 豪華珠寶戒指 until 博學者之戒.

If you don't want to spend all the gold needed (or time) for the leg enchant, 重型護甲片 can be used instead (but you need to apply it on a 60 character), same goes for gloves until the recommended enchants are available (Phase 5).

A few notes on quests:

The quest chain for 烏瑞恩的圖章, starts with 未寄出的信 which is started with 未寄出的信 dropped in 死亡礦坑 by 艾德溫·范克里夫 at level 16. It is a very long chain, requiring a run through 監獄 and many turn in's along the way (it is a total of 12 quests). So be careful with this one.

The 發光的碎片 (for 塔巴爾護肩) dropped by 吞噬者穆坦努斯 in 哀嚎洞穴. He is spawned after killing all 4 of the bosses and speaking with an NPC at the entrance of the instance. The item can be gotten at any level, but the quest cannot be started until level 15.

The first quest in the chain for 墓碑節杖 is 尋找塞爾瑞德, which is given by 哨兵山德拉斯 in Darnassus at level 18. Then you turn it in to 銀月守衛塞爾瑞德 in 黑澗深淵, where he will give the quest 黑暗深淵中的惡魔 (which awards the wand).

The first quest in the chain for 技師披風 is 菲茲克斯 available at level 16 in Stonetalon Mountains, there are 5 quests in this chain.

In other words, at level 15 finish the quest 發光的碎片 and at level 16 start 未寄出的信 as soon as possible because it awards a lot of XP, and do the quest chain for 技師披風 starting with 菲茲克斯. Finally, as soon as you are 18, start 尋找塞爾瑞德. Until then, there are not many essential quests.
