This NPC is in Stormgarde Keep but if you don't know where he can be tricky to find.

When you enter the keep, you will go under a bridge. After you go under the bridge, turn 90 degrees right, 3 times in a row. Then you will be walking east over the bridge you just went under. As soon as you cross over the bridge turn right, and you should run right into him.

If you are too low in level to fight your way to Deneb Walker, try this...

Enter Stromgarde Keep and make the first left. You'll be assaulted. Hug the wall to your left and continue forward until you die Release your spirit and return to the keep. Follow the above directions (three 90-degree turns to the right) and take your ghost into the friendly portion of the Keep. You should be able to resurrect yourself right there in friendly territory, purchase what you need, and leave by jumping off the little bridge.

ok a trick. infront of the entrance follow the wall to the right. when you come to the crack in the wall jump through it. Make a left, cross the bridge and you are there.

I'm not sure why the previous comments talk about fighting your way to Deneb Walker. He is located within Alliance territory in Stormgarde. Immediately after crossing the bridge as described above, he is to the right in the little enclave, next to the well. Doesn't speak much.

In the Arthari Highlands, Strongard Keep.

He is in the courtyard with the Prince Gallen Trollbane. If you are looking into the Sanctum, staring at the Prince through the door, the NPC will be on your right and a little back.

I read the comment above, but it still took a long time to find it.

If you are entering the keep, the vendor will actually be a little to your left (east). When you enter the keep, you will go under a bridge.

Wait until the alliance patrol, where ones on horseback, comes through they will lead u nearly there and serve as a body guard:). The other parts of the keep has level 35 elite syndacatewith rogues.

You can enter/leave the Alliance held part of the keep at 23,55 - where there's a crack in the wall.

The above directions thru the crack are excellent - you avoid all the monsters. I thought I was going crazy because I could not find this vendor or thought he was killed by someone, but again the directions as to his exact location are spot on. The trouble is he kind of blends in with the scenery due to his clothing and surrounding furniture (well at least on my graphics settings anyway) - I must of walked past him 3 or 4 times!

Anyway, get your own skills in Expert First Aid (1g) and your Heavy Silk (22s)and then Mageweave Bangage manuals (forget how much this was)from vendor. Once you are skilled up, buy about 6 Heavy Silk manuals and 3 or 4 Expert FA manuals and sell them in Ironforge AH.

I was selling my EFA manuals on Buyout for 2g 50s (1g 50s profit) and my HSB manuals for 1g 50s (1g 28s profit). Nice little earner and helped me save for my mount!

Dont flood the AH with them though or people will get wise and start copying you, which will bring down the price and you wont sell them. I'm guessing they sold well cos for players like me (Elf warrior)Ironforge was my first place for the AH and I worked hard in first aid so the EFA manual was the first thing I bought from AH. I would ot have survived the trek to Stromgarde cos of my low lvl.

So yeah, a goody money maker and you can fly to Refuge Point, run to the vendor, get your stuff, hearthstone back to IF and get your stuff up in the AH with 25 mins! Then you just wait for the money to roll in while your questing and gaining lvl's!

*HORDE* Expert First Aid seller is Balai Lok'Wein in Brackenwell Village in Dustwallow Marsh.

She's just north of Krak the Butcher and Ogg'marr the Armorer.

In the main part of Brackenwall Village.

I found him at 27,59. When entering Stormgarde Keep turn right into alliance area. Then head around to the right and go over bridge. He is just on the right after going over bridge.

The directions above were a little confusing for me, so I'm going to attempt to explain them differently.

**These directions are for alliance players.**

As you go through the doors (blasted open) of Stromgarde Keep (in Arathi Highlands), go straight until you go under a bridge (which you will need to cross over later). Once you have passed the bridge, you have the option of choosing 3 paths: straight, left, or right. Go right and stay on the path. Continue straight past the alliance guards, staying on the path. Continue to follow the path as it veers right more and more until it takes you to a bridge. Cross the bridge and the first aid vendor will be on your immediate right. He sells this manual for 90 silver, among 2 other first aid recipes.

The DEFINITIVE directions to the alliance first aid trainer in Stromgarde Keep:
**** He sells 3 books: Expert First Aid: Under Wraps (90 silver), Manual: Heavy Silk Bandage (22 silver), Manual: Mageweave Bandage (50 silver) ****

1) Enter the front entrance of Stromgarde Keep.

2) Go under the bridge directly ahead and take the first right (you will see 2 Stromgarde Defenders under the archway).

3) After those first two defenders, take a right at the first tree. Follow that stone path you are on as it continues to curve right past a few buildings.

4) Continue on the path and you will cross over a bridge and then under some ivy tresses. While under the ivy overhang, look right and you will see a well and an NPC. That NPC is Deneb Walker. Huzzah!

allow you to see NPC names. I suggest turning this on whenever searching for some remote NPC ina weird location. Keeps you from walking past them and them from fading into the background. It has made those types of quests MUCH easier for me.

I thought this was pretty easy to find using the directions above, the ones that have high votes.

Once you get to the place where all of the greenery is growing on the lattice work, take a right, he is standing there beside his scrolls.

After entrance and going under bridge, take a right, then bear right, bear right again and then a sharp right after you cross over the bridge that you had initially gone under.

It took me a while to find him so to be correct his coor is 27,59. After passed the bridge, make sure you turn right 90 degrees 3 times and you will get to the entrance to cross the bridge.

He's on your right, close to the entrance

Enter the Keep and the at the very beginning, you will see a bridge above/in front. You can proceed past that bridge the first right. You should know you're in the right area if you start seeing Troll Hunters and such. Then follow the path around the corner to the right, which will you lead you accross the bridge you saw earlier. You'll find Deneb to your right after crossing.

Expert First Aid: Under Wraps is 90 silver not 1 gold as it says above. Its not worth it to buy it in the AH. if you have the FP to Arathi just go find Deneb.. lol i found this book sold in AH for 2 gold when i was searching for it at the time. What a ripoff ;p

From the thread on the item expert first aid training book, unless you prefer to fight lvl 36-ish elite horde npcs and their minions, etc

You can also slip through a crack in the wall on the north-western corner of Stromgarde to avoid mobs.

I just did it, no muss no fuss, this guy is in the northwest corner of the alliance compound, to the right of the stone bridge that crosses a horde part of the keep. I suggest you don't fall of the bridge, unless you're 40+.

This guy is in the alliance controlled section of Stormgarde Keep. When you walk in the gates turn right, keep turning right at each instance you can. You end up making four 90-degree right turns before you get to him.

Great directions by Torbak. FYI I have honored reputation with SW and the manual cost me 19s to buy as of patch 1.9. Prices in AH 1.5g-5g depending on how much they are trying to rip you off.

the book was indeed 90s, and i dont have rank or reputation at stormwind. currently sells for 1g on AH so is it worth getting all the way to stormgarde to save 10s? Its not the easiest place to get in to, although certainly doable.
My first time into stormwind and died twice (lvl 31) getting in, so think about it. Coming from the road thru the busted gates I had to stay to the right since there were lvl 35's visible and stealthed to the left that always attacked, and randomly along the way till i got to the alliance section.
Deneb was at 26.58 which is a little different than above;. He stands behind the well at the end of the above described right turns.
once with the book, the silk bandages are awesome for combat though, and i find i can use them in the middle of a fight not just once its over. better than food.

If you are low level when you get here (I was lvl 24 at the time), the mobs around here will kick your butt (they were elite skulls to me). So go to: /way 23.23 55.78 Enter the fort through this crack in the exterior wall (do not go in the front gate). Then you can cross the bridge and find Deneb Walker at: /way 27.01 58.81

If you're a bit on the low level side like I was, I found an easier way to get into the "safe" part of the keep that doesn't require going past any enemies (be warned: some are stealthed!).

Instead of going in the front gate, turn right just before the gate and skirt around the outside of the wall. You'll pass an old catapult, then squeeze between a large rock mound and the wall. Right around the next corner, look left towards the wall and there will be a gap you can jump through. From there, simply turn left and follow the road across the bridge. Deneb Walker will be on the right hand side.

The coordinates for the gap in the wall are roughly 23, 56.

Deneb Walker no longer sells these. I did try Bali Lok'Wein. She's gone and someone else sells potions and reagents. I did attempt to start up a conversation with him but as an alliance member the villagers didn't take too kindly to my presence. I think I managed 'hello' before I died.

Any ideas of how I can get the recipe for heavy silk bandages? And the next too manuals up, mageweave and heavy mageweave?

Please upvote this, because this is the easiest way to get to him.

Right as you pull up to the keep, do not enter. Go straight to the right, before the broken gates, and hug the wall.
Run past the crashed ballista. Take the left turn after the corner, and go into the keep where there's a crack in the wall.
After you go through, just turn left, there's the bridge you need to cross.
After crossing it, take a left at the first option, and he will be on your right, behind the well.

I ran from Wetlands and up to Arathi Highlands as a level 24 gnome warrior. Had no problems getting the flightpath at Refugee Pointe and getting to Stromgarde to get this book. As long as you don't encounter horde you should be alright.
