With the changes to Honor I think Phase 3 and 4 were too long already. IMO I think phase 5 should be shorter and half of the naxx phase should include tbc pre patch to give people ample time to level up their BE's and space goats.
Once you hit Phase 6 you’re caught up with Era realms. Really no reason to drag out anything after that. February seems reasonable but I wouldn’t be surprised at all of they accelerated it even more.
They def should put tbc prepatch with phase 6 release.
I wish they’d say already if they’re going to fix their past mistake and give us a tbc era server. Because I don’t have much interest in doing tbc again if my character auto progresses into an expansion I hate.
I hope TBC will not release before March.Or just put more loot per boss, i want to be full T3 before starting TBC.
gimmie tbc prepatch now $%^& this aq nonsense
tbh im kinda over it with classic anniversary.. i just want tbc and wotlk lol
Can us on Maladath get a merger already. Get us off this dead shard. We will never get the gates open with war effort. we have like 1500 active raiders, and id almost say 50% of those are alts.
I dont understand the hates towards tbc andys if u already have a classic era server, u can just go and enjoy your vanilla gameplay, most of the playerbase are burned of the content and with AQ even more… so it would be logical to get phase 5 and 6 to be shorter or with the pace they planned with a prepatch released with phase 6 so we can experience atleast more than 1 month the vanilla content with the TBC talents and paladins and shamans in both factions.
My take is January 16th, exactly 19 years after the original release
tbc prepatch into classic is a very cool idea.a tbc release in at least 8 months seems realistic. maybe a couple months after the release of retail season 3, the theme seems to match.
Ok and why would they make the next phases longer?MC -> BWL was 2 MonthBWL -> ZG was 1,5 MonthZG ->AQ(if released 10th July) will be ~2,5monthWhy would they then wait and torture us with 4 Month or more of AQ the worst Raid and classic killer?I hope and think the release sheldue will stay between 2 - 2,5 Month per Content Patch. For real nobody wants to raid 4-5 Month AQ. Just release Naxx in September then we can go to TBC this year and not Next year.
I'm still thinking we get Naxx in early October and pre patch in December. Then TBC early January. Once your top guilds kill KT, they're gonna stop playing. Or swap to their new main for TBC. Generally the last phases see a decline in numbers until pre patch for the next expansion
Can we skip AQ for anni? ha
To those saying shorten Naxx and/or install TBC prepatch during P6, negative ghost rider. However...Would I like them to shorten AQ40 and release Naxx early? Yes. Let me explain. My recommendation would be to keep the February timeframe, but instead shift the Naxx opening to be a larger portion of that timeframe. Rank 14 has made AQ40 a lot less relevant, and still as annoying to clear. I think a long AQ40 will bludgeon guild rosters. Most of the rest of our time in this iteration would be better spent in Naxx than AQ40.As for TBC patch, they need to implement the xp buff to give people that extra boost to level paladins and shamans. I would also cut into the cost for pvp gear at that point (remember folks, it shifts to honor cost at pre-patch) so that those same paladins and shamans can have a little bit of catch up gear once they cap. We have done this before, the "newness" is not there, no reason not to help them out. I offer two solutions to deal with the acceleration:1. Leveling needs to be less of a "thing" on an accelerated server. An xp buff would have been nice. If you showed up to the party late (aka, for those folks that showed up as Cata or SoD died) it has been a struggle for them to get caught up. Rep and xp requirements all become more daunting in a faster timeframe. This is not an insurmountable problem if Blizzard is moderately proactive. This issue will be no less daunting in TBC, why not attack the problem now? This should happen at the pre-patch at latest, but would not be insane to put in at AQ40/Naxx phase.2. There is no way in hell that at least one more raid drop per 40/25 man boss should not be in the game. Yes, R14 (awful experience imo) has gap filled weapons, but it means our entire raid is basically hunting the same things; trinkets, rings, necks, and cloaks. This should be implemented with AQ40 (it won't be) and continue on through TBC if they intend to keep the timeframe clipped. And to Blizzard, what will be your method of gap filling for gear on a faster TBC pace? Remove arena ratings? Quicker honor/arena gains? Extra drops? These are questions for Blizzard, that, as of yet, we have not had a single post, blue drop, zero information regarding the timing and intention. I find the lack of transparency disheartening, as I am not super excited to blaze through TBC just to blaze right back through Wrath and God forbid back towards Cata 3.0.My 2019 warrior was geared to the teeth in TBC, and now he sits logged out in Cata 2.0. Do I really need another parked set of toons in Cata 3.0? Just my thoughts./TLDR
