I'm confused, do the people that write the wowhead articles not play WOW. The PVP talents are only usable in non instance PVE content. So i guess this might unbalance the race to kill the weekly world boss or speed run to complete WQ but otherwise this would not effect any PVE that matters. The PVP talents do not work in raid, dungeons (including m+), and not even on island expos.
Literally NONE of you realize that Blizzard has been forcing PvP'ers to do PvE for the last two expansions, you all deserve it. Screw you. It's turn to turn the tables.
Lol +65% Chaosbolt damage for Destruction Warlocks will easily make them completely overpowered in any single target situation.
If this is the last patch, sure. But having all these crazy stuff at the middle (2/3rd?) of the expansion is kinda overboard.Warning, this is my OPINION, and i just want to say it.Instead of adding essence on top of Azerite gear in 8.28.2 should be focused on REWORKING azerite gear and make it work like Essences.Essences system look pretty good, don't get me wrong, but having this ON TOP of azerite gear really going overboard.Again, if this is the last patch of the expansion i am fine.Understanding the numbers and interactions between Essences and Azerite trait is not just hard to do for the developer, but also insanely annoying for players.Right now, Simulation pretty much MANDATORY if you want your class to do decent dps (keyword: decent). No, not just min-maxing, but just to make your character do DECENT dps, simulation is mandatory almost for all spec. Some spec talent changed based what trait you have, and you have little to no clue if you have to do that unless you Sim it, you can use the rule of thumb (oh, i have this and that trait, so i have to do this). But you cannot know for sure unless you sim it, it's... stupid.NOW WE HAVE ESSENCES ON TOP OF IT, basically multiplying the amount of complications....I kinda wished on 8.2 they changed and rework Azerite Trait and make it available on the go, AP exists to empower them instead of unlocking them. Item level increases the flat number effect (example, ilvl 340 trait do 500 damage, ilvl 355 trait do 550 damage)AP however empower the % or the unique effect of the trait.Example, AP 0 trait have 5% to proc, AP 10 trait have 10% to proc, AP 20 trait have 20% to proc.AP 0 trait have duration of 5 sec, AP 10 trait have duration of 8sec, AP 20 trait have 10sec durations. It work kinda like Essences, but it's on your Azerite gear.Reduce the amount of Azerite trait across the board (becauase let's be honest, there's way too many of them)Idk, i just like Azerite gear because it have so much potential, and it's REALLY sad that they just leave it as it is and add essences instead.
I like it. One of the best ways to avoid making things unbalanced is to make everything Overpowered.Destiny 2 had the same ideia of prunning things but it seems to be better now once that when went with buffing rather than nerfing.
And yet EVERY PvP player has been force to PvE this expansion to be competitive. You got a vendor for azerite. We didn't. We don't receive Residuum from PvP. Have to M+. The best items (trinkets) are PvE exclusive.
uh, greater pyroblast?
Are we not reading too much into a very ambiguously worded statement?
Did I mention that literally everyone who PVPs at a semi-competitive 2k+ rating is playing against players that have to raid to be competitive.VoidstoneTridentDiamond-Laced Methamphetamine PrismHarbinger TrinketWard TrinketPlate gloves and beltAll the mail/leather on proc gearI really don't want to hear it from PVE'ers how bad you have it. You have to hit like 1500 for these essences which is RIDICULOUSLY easy compared to running a heroic raid multiple weeks over for a CHANCE to get a piece of gear. If you want to be competitive in PVP you literally HAVE to raid and do your m10 for the cache because you need to get the right azerite traits and you can't get the currency to buy the Azerite pieces through PVP.It's literally the biggest dog#$%^ system in the world to push people into doing content they don't enjoy, but most of us still do it, and what we have to do in order to be competitive is significantly harder than what you have to do.
Y'all are taking this waaaaaaay out of context. Getting an additional PvP talent does not mean those PvP talents will be usable in dungeons or raids. "That’s an opportunity for people to use some of those PvP talents in PvE situations." means WQs and world bosses.
Requiring PvE'ers to do PvP for pretty much BiS? Blizzard hasn't changed one bit.
It'll either never happened or the PvP talents will be nerfed into the ground when used in PvE, making them useless. Blizzard heard enough outcry when they forced you to PvP to get the legendary in MoP.
