It must be an offensive action (harmful spell, harmful ability, melee attack, or ranged attack) to receive reputation.

This also affects Healers who must use an offensive action against the Lieutenant or faction Leader.

Seems like whoever gets their progress to 100% first has to stand around and twiddle their thumbs while the enemy teams decides if they want to show up. Really bad design, imo. If a team isn't prepared, their lieutenants should have reduced health.

This way the team that is actually in the zone and engaged gets to complete the event without having to wait forever for the other side to get their act together.

Worked on this macro for a while today. While fighting any of the bosses you can click this macro and it will send "Kazragore@Bonfire-2.9%" to Local Defense. (CHANNEL 2)

I also made a Weakaura to do this automatically but then found out you can't have a weakaura say anything to chat when not in an instance... or something... huge waste of time. HERES THE MACRO THOUGH!

This is for Alliance players fighting Horde bosses...

Sadly this event is bugged and not fun to play.
For example, the progress percentage often drops from 90% to 60%, which causes thousands of people wasting like half an hour.

For some reason the progress bar for Battle of Ashenvale is stuck in the middle of my screen. Is this movable with an addon?

Tagging and killing elite mobs in either camp grants 10-15 reputation all the way to Revered.

A bit too vague for me so I did some digging myself, here's the rep value for *everything* regarding the event.

+400 Rep: per Blademaster/Keeper of the Grove killed (until Revered)

Adds:

+15 Rep: Warsong Shaman or Silverwing Dryad (until Revered)

+10 Rep: Warsong Raider or Silverwing Druid (until Revered)

+5 Rep: Warsong Grunt or Silverwing Archer (until Revered)

and finally, at the end of the battle:

+200 Rep: killing Kazragore or Felore Moonray (until Revered)

+200 Rep: finishing the battle (until Revered)

+200/300/400/500 Rep: finishing the battle with 0/1/2/3 Blademasters/Keepers of the Grove still left standing (until Revered)

+1000 Rep: handing in Warsong Outrider Mark or Silverwing Sentinel Charm (until Exalted) (weekly)

All of this means the perfect battle will bring you +2100 Rep, plus however much you can get from tagging adds, would have to count how many of each of them there are to see the theoretical maximum.

Now that Quest is daily. do it reset after 24h your turn in or is there certain time for reset?
