At Level 2 accept Méditation sur la non-mort from Sombre clerc Duesten.
When you enter the graveyard next door you will get Froid de la tombe, when you get this buff /kneel to get Méditation sur la non-mort buff.
Use Souvenir d’un acolyte tourmenté from your bags.
You will learn Gravure de gants (Pénitence) .
Go back to Sombre clerc Duesten to turn in Méditation sur la non-mort and be given a pair of gloves to apply your rune to and learn Pénitence.

For humans, you need to be at least level 2 to pick up the quest Méditation sur la Lumière. The item Souvenir d’un acolyte tourmenté will drop off any of the kobolds. Take it back to Northshire Abbey, and kneel for several seconds, until you get a buff Mediation on the Light.
Then you can use the item to learn Pénitence, and turn in the quest.

Night Elves /kneel at the Moonwell (I went in it). I chose the one in Shadowglen. After a few seconds, a buff will appear called "Meditation on Elune". Once you obtain the buff, you can use the item "Memory of a Troubled Acolyte".

For me as an undead priest only worked when I did `/kneel` on the quest grave. Simply being in the graveyard was was not enough.

As a dwarf, the altar is near the Priest trainer, just to the right.. /kneel and you will get the Meditation on the Light buff which allows you to use the Memory of a Troubled Acolyte

As a troll you have to travel to Sen'jin Village and /kneel in front of the altar located just north of the village.

Lance une salve de lumière sacrée sur la cible et inflige [(9.456667 + 0.635108 * 60 + 0.039063 * 60 * 60) * 128 / 100] points de dégâts du sacré à un ennemi ou rend [(38.258376 + 0.904195 * 60 + 0.161311 * 60 * 60) * 85 / 100] points de vie à un allié instantanément et toutes les 1 s pendant 2 sec.
Utilise: Permet de se concentrer sur le souvenir pour apprendre un nouveau sort. Nécessite d’avoir fait le vide dans son esprit en méditant sur les mystères spirituels d’Azeroth.
