To make more faction balance should give horde a pally by giving the class to undead and just change it to unholy pally and instead of holy damage make it shadow damage same abilities just different names and colors

Kommentar von Aragornsfate

They should make the rune unlocked at Discovery locations vary by account character. That way even though the Locations can be looked up after the first week, your characters still have to explore the world to find the rune you are looking for rather than just Googling where to find the min/max runes and never touching the others.

Very excited to see how the tanking runes work out for Shaman, Warlock, and Rogue! Warrior is also getting some beefy tanking runes, so it'll be interesting to see how the newcomers measure up. I'm most excited for bear druid... uncrittable and 20% DR? Sign me up~

The changes to mage healing is complete over kill. No one will play mage healer. Sad.

Kommentar von Ruebeus

Will we have to start new characters for this?

Kommentar von GonthorianDX

Will the changes of Season of Mastery be carried (partly) over to Season of Discovery?

But Sydney doesn't have 31 days in November lol! I'm guessing it's 1st of December?

Rokman.. you need to adjust the date and time quote above as edited by Blizzard 17 hours ago on the forums:

So what they're doing is pretty much making every useable class to tank that was in Vanilla and Burning Crusade is being given tanking again. Mage, what a spell steal tank in Gruul's Lair, but that was about it. Blizz backtracks better than any other company out there.

I don't know where to put this so the Blizzard team can see it... but lets try here....
I personally think this is THE best version of WoW ever made and I have been playing since 2004.... I would like to share an idea for the future of SoD

Push this into TBC with the following changes to make SoD work
-Leave the level cap @60
-Use runes to make people "level up" in outland... example: each quest in a zone gives points you can use to buy a rune or something like that... add runes to all the dungeon 5man factions as well
-tune the gear so it is still relevant and people would be swaping epics for blues from outland about the same time...
-re-tune the raids for extra mechanics and maybe new encounters etc

the same could be done with WoTLK but since runes will probably be a little crowded at this point maybe use the Glyph system but expand on it more?

Kommentar von PriestJohnBig

The below items seem to have been stealthily nerfed in SoD:

The shadow or frost +damage standard procs on every hit seem to have been turned into just +damage and baked into the weapon damage as the combat log does not show any extra dmg, either physical or shadow/frost

Couldn't find any reference about this, thus opened a ticket. After 5-6 follow-ups of getting horrible responses, a GM finally told me (indirectly confirming the change) to submit a bug and post on the forums.

Suspecting these were nerfed to prevent Seal of Martyrdom hugely outperforming any other seal during P1 due to phantom strikes (maybe). The same change seems to have been carried over to all Classic Era and WotLK.

Kommentar von AlaskanDruid

So far the paladin runes are just regular, old paladin spells. Where are the new spells?
