When it comes to Guns and Bows, I am really puzzled by the following comment.

Rank 14 weapons have not been listed as they are quite bad and should never be used by anyone

I'd love to get an explanation as to the reasoning behind this comment, because the item descriptions seem to indicate otherwise.

As an example, consider 大元帅的强弩
Damage: 107-162
Speed: 2.9
Equip: +36 ranged AP

Comparing to the first listed optional 觅血者
* The damage range of the Repeater is higher despite being a faster weapon.
* This puts the Repeater at 46.38 dps, a massive 43.7% higher than Bloodseeker at 32.27 dps.
* Even though the Bloodseeker's +7 Agility provides +14 ranged AP, it can't compete with the Repeater's raw +36 ranged AP.

Certainly, comparing to 伦鲁迪洛尔，上古守护者的长弓 things get closer:
* The Hunter bow has exactly the same speed but damage is only 89-166.
* This puts the Repeater at almost 5.5% higher dps than Rhok'delar which is 43.97 dps.
* The Repeater also gets a better dps boost from ranged AP, with +36 vs. +17
* Rhok'delar's only advantage comes from the 1% crit. And granted, that 1% counts for a lot on a hunter. But does it make up for 5.5% baseline advantage of the Repeater?

From the above, it seems the Rank 14 crossbow is at least competitive, even with Rhok'delar.
Unless I'm missing something?

Of course, the difference is a moot consideration for me, since I doubt I'll even reach Rank 10, let alone Rank 14.
Regardless the difficulty in obtaining Rank 14, means one shouldn't bank on getting that weapon; and the other options should be kept open.

But I'd love an explanation for why the Rank 14 weapons are considered: "quite bad and should never be used"?
