They had no idea what to do with him, so they killed him off. And it had no impact at all.Alleria already had all the motivation she needed to hunt Xal, and nobody else knew the guy. It didn't move the story forward whatsoever to kill him.

Locus Walker was the most lackluster character they have use on the story, because of all the shift and sudden changes they had to do on the story on War Within the 11.2 content seems to had been content for Midnight because of the void theme among other things.Midnight hasn't started and the void fatigue is starting to feel already.
He was the most “literally who” character. Came out of nowhere. Did essentially nothing. Dumb character prune 10/10

How does Xal’atath escape the dark heart in the raid ending cinematic? Was she not actually inside? If she was, what are the implications for its ability to contain powerful being? Ie. It doesn’t work?Side note- this alliance with xalatath in 11.2 was stupid and jarring from the get go. Terrible writing and ultimately predictable.

Locus-Walker did never trust Xal'atath. He just saw no other choice but to work with her.And actually, there was none. If we hadn't interfered (which we did with Xal's help, like it or not), we could not have stopped the Void Lord from reforming completely.Regarding leaving Krysson behind under Ky'vezas protection, that is just like Alleria and Turalyon's decision to leave Arator behind. Only for those two, that worked out, Locus-Walker was not so lucky. With Krysson lost to the void, I understand for him trying to emotionally unattach himself from his former life. Consuming what's left of her (void) essence was his way to be reunited with her, in a way.I also didn't get why Alleria was oh so horrified by his decision to blow K'aresh up in a desparate attempt to destroy Dimensius. It was a terrible decision to make, but the right one. While it did not succeed, it ultimately gave them - and us - time to destroy Dimensius - and save other planets from K'aresh's fate. What would she have done in his place? Probably the same thing.The only folly I see was the writing that made him die by touching the Dark Heart in the end. That I found infuriating.
