This may seem extremely overpowered, but you have to keep in mind that this ability is yet to be seen on ptr, and ofcourse you will have to expect a cooldown similar to Kidney Shot or Hammer of Justice.

Shield Bash
... Yes, you need the shield, but as far as I know, it can be switched in combat and you cen use it anytime you want with macro like this:

Hmm, I'm curious if this shares a deminishing return (DR) with charge.
To my knowledge charge has a normal DR with most stuns, for instance intercept, and the DR internal cooldown is ~20 seconds. Blizz is (finally) putting cheap shot and kidney shot on the same DR (no clue whatsoever why it wasn't from the beginning). As such one could expect charge to share the DR with throwdown. However, charge is only a 1.5s stun, which is indeed enough to interrupt, but the actual reasoning behind the stun isn't the stun so much as it is keeping the target in the same place once you get there, rather than charging to the point where they were 2 seconds ago, which would be pointless. Throwdown is a 5s stun with a 45s cooldown, rather powerful, but still a long CD. If the DR is shared then you would either have to wait ~20 seconds after charging to use it(often times you'd be using another charge at this point), not charge the target but actually chase them down (lol, yeah right), or simply accept that it's really a 2.5s stun with a 45s cooldown, which just seems alot like false advertising.
So if it isn't on a DR with charge, it is a rather powerful skill, but I think still balanced and somewhat needed. If it is on a DR with charge, then more often than not it's actually a 2.5s stun, which is still useful, but really not as powerful as it seems. In fact, it may be even less useful on account of further deminishing intercept's stun, making it rather situational and require alot of foresight to determine whether or not to use it.

This ability needs exactly one nerf - remove the knock down effect completely. It's not only graphic, it makes trinketing have no effect until you are standing up again. Not only warriors, but nobody needs to have 3 secs of completely untrinketable cc, especially come cata where people die in 6 - 10 seconds. Throwdown, free 3 secs no matter what the opponent does. Blizzard's doing silly stuff just to have an animation for this.
If you disagree with this you obviously have no clue about pvp. The whole stun duration it has now can stay, no problem, just remove the silly knock down.

I can't help but laugh every time I see this in action, and it was one of the reasons I loved warriors back in Cata so much. !@#$% slapping someone to the ground complete with a funny and badass sound effect was just... so satisfying. I don't even care what happened after that. I would even knock down a mage even though he'd just blink out and kite me to death. I was the real victor and he knows it. He might have the HK, but I have the last laugh. Cause that $%^& is so damn funny.
