You start off being teleported to Darrowmere Lake, near Scholomance.

Hand in is in the Inn in the Ruins of Ardodhal (39,66). The NPC is the elf beside Chromie on top floor of the inn.

It does say that it is a group quest, but since there is no combat needed, it's completely soloable.

Uses Haleh's Will on you when you start Wrath of the Blue Flight.

I swear, it was so damn cool, I wanted to abandon the quest and go back to find her again and take the quest again, just to see it happen again.

What happens? She kicks you. In the face. You go flying... from Winterspring to Western Plaguelands. Luckily a lake breaks your fall, or you would've died.

Actually, I think I WILL abandon this quest, just so I can go pick it up again any time I feel like seeing something awesome.

For best effect, try to be standing between her and the edge of the mountain you're on. If you're standing with her between you and the edge, she actually just kicks you through a mountain.

OK, so I'm doing the Wintersaber grind in Winterspring. And by grind, I mean 1 round a day, 3-5 rounds a week. So my hearth is going to be set to Everlook for a long time to come. I'm also doing wrapping up my Blackrock and Plagueland quests. Previously, the best way to get to Plaguelands was teleport (I'm a Mage) to Shattrath, take the Quel'Danas portal and fly to Light's Hope or Chillwind.

Now, I can hearth to Everlook, run to Haleh (quickly, using the mountain+slowfall trick) and BAM! I'm at the Darrowmere Lake (Scholomance). Saves little time, but the novelty will take quite a while to wear off. I mean really, one kick from her and you end up 27181 yards away (measured with Cartographer), on a different continent!

Lesson learnt: Don't mess with the Blue Dragonflight, or they'll kick your arse! (Or bring 24 friends).

It does for eastern kingdoms though. For short quest lines like this one, they usually count toward where you picked up the starting quest.

this is a must have quest for druids.

DO NOT COMPLETE THIS QUEST... if you are a druid.

the item reward looks like its some plate item... but also that looks like its getting confused with the epic plate armor quest....

in any case.... with a druid portal moonglade ---> bird to everlook, quick run, stealth... druids can easily and REPEATEDLY get a free portal to near schol.... what more can you ask for :)

This quest with the 3 epic items (2mail and 1plate) is only 1 half of the quests serie in winterspring(everlook) you can get the same cataluge from an other quests and there is an epic cloth helm. 20INT 17STA 2% chance to get a crit spells. it costs &*!@ loads of expensive stuff and 50G but now all you cloth users know that there is an epic item out there waiting for you.(same to druid and rogues) so for leather and cloth dont do this part but the other im taking about and its also for UBRS.

Alright here's what you need to do for each of yor classes! All of which take place in UBRS.

pally warrior and hunters (shaman, not sure if its neutral) you need to get the awbee quest which will lead to plate/mail epic crafted rewards.

mage, warlock, druid, rogue you will need someone to skin the beast and get the quest from the 5% chance that finkle will come out and give, for your cloth/leather epic crafted gear.

And although you don't get an item reward, if it's available and you do the chains (all it is, is talking to ppl) you can get roughly 13,600 exp all together without collecting for the catalauge )so it's if you below 60 it's not totally worthless. Each item requires lots of work, but since the patch .4 they have lowwered the prices, and the other items will be easy to obtain by simply running instances to get your class set.

Pssh she hits you like 40 feet in the air then you fall down and your character teleports itself.
The mage I was grouped with had quest too and lagged out when he teleported to mountain top LMAO!
...Yes I am laughing well the quest is no good for them.

I made sure there was nothing behind me when I accepted the quest. Got a coupl of cool screencaps of my flying. Then screen load. Then I'm at the bottom of the lake, dead.

The logs showed that right after I accepted the quest, I was placed AFK. I had just been fidgeting with my postion, trying to become not dead, so I don't see how I was made to be AFK.

Anyhoo, quest is still buggy (for me, at least).

My back was a mountain when i'm talking to her so when she hit me i was hit to a mountain and was about to land before it start teleport so i end up 2 feet in the water in WPL with full health

60/Priest/Troll -

1). Took shortcut - took a min, but i got there.

2). Booted me about 600' through the air - (so far so good, while flying i put Regen and Shield up).

3). Landed in Lake - np - so it must be slow computers that make you die - Load you, then load environment - all the while your falling :(

but otherwise FUN :)

if u look up while landing in the water, u end up only 3 feet under water or something, too easy

You don't have to go in through the cave. I didn't want to, due to the high cost of a repair bill. The re is a way to climb up the mountain to get to her, and my epic mount came in handy. Not sure if you can do it without the mount. Good luck!

It's possible to go the back way on a regular mount.

I think there's a video of it on the thread for alliance ony key... the part with winterspring and heliah.

Yeah I got kicked and ended up in the mountains on a tree and then teleported to the lake, I was pretty pissed off that I didnt go all the way.

I had that quest and the one to get attuned to Ony and so i decicided to turn in that one 1st. It punted me and I had to walk all the way back!

I'm a Level 60 Mage, I just finished this line of quests and got stuck with the 2 crappy plate armor quests. I fiqure I'll just do them and DE the epic that i get. If people have a problem with me taking their Skin of Shadows and Chromatic Scales, too bad, they can talk to Blizzard about it.

Also, you get 5.97G, Yay Clothwearers.

You do all this stuff and find out that at the end of the line he will then let you either make legplates of 2 kinds or a chest plate both plate armor and epic. im a mage and i was like hmm no

It's quite simple if you think about it. Face the direction Haleh is facing, strafe to the right slightly so you're on her right, but still behind her. To see if you're in the correct spot, hold the left mouse button down and turn the camera to look behind you (if you hold the right mouse button your character will turn with the camera). If you're pretty much lined up with the large chunk of light ice above and behind you, then you'll take no damage at all and land perfectly safe upon it. Then when the kick debuff ends, your character will teleport and drop straight into the lake, once again taking no damage.

I advise everyone do this quest, even if you don't need the rewards. When you accept it, Haleh does a non-damaging nova that sends you flying backwards hundreds of feet through the air, and thousands above it. I, for one, crashed into a mountain for no damage and got ported to Darrowmere Lake, landing safely. Awesomest thing to watch, and worth it.

I also faced with my back to the Mt. i got 'kicked' and i just flew up a little to land higher up the hill than her. I Sat there while the counter finished then was ported, fairly high, over the lake. Everything loaded well before i landed, so i took no damage. Either blizz fixed it, or it did have to do with direction you are when you accept the quest from Helah. Seems like the people that died got booted into the cool winterspring air. =)

had a lot of luck on this- a group of horde were in front of me as i went into the cavern so made my way thru with only a couple of fights. helped them with the level 60 elite dragon at the end and stepped on the portal :) when teleported just before i hit the lake i bubbled and swam to andorhal :D

Got teleported to Darrowmere Lake, then immediatly died from falling.
Over 3k damage.

Got in there with two 60 hunters and a 58 mage. Purple item "Mature Blue Dragon Sinew" droped on the way too. Don't mess with the 60 elite dragons - just got for the portal.

I was already dead when the loading screen finished. Took 100% damage from the fall. It appears that folks with faster hard drives can land safely, but others will die on impact. I'm guessing it has something to do with the water load time. Water may load last, so if your computer loads the scene too slowly, you hit the ground at the bottom of the lake, and then lake itself loads around you. :) Just a guess.

I got 'punched' back into the mountain, so I landed on the mountain side for no damage before porting. I think if you get 'punched' away from the mountain, then while the loading screen is up your character will fall in Winterspring, so you're dead long before you fall in Darrowmere. I think whether or not you die has to do with which direction you're facing when you talk to Haleh. I could be wrong, though.

I prowled in Cat-form to where the rune was and had a minor heart-attack thinking that I would have to unstealth and initiate the transport in the usual "opening" kind of way, with 3 dragonwhelps hovering above it I felt sure I was to get lots of aggro - but no! In prowl I walked onto the rune and was instantly teleported, collected the quest and got knocked off the mountain to land in the Darrowmere Lake no damage at all - the best way to fly.

pbbly changed in patch 1.10...did it...been thrown away on the nearby hill...the nothing happened so i walked back everlook:)...the went WP found the elf in andorhal etc.

It is probably best to keep this quest undone if you don't need it. It is a free teleport and you never know when it might be handy (e.g. Goblin Engineer teleport to Scholo).
