This is a damn good tanking trinket,although the brightbrew one is better.Said that,it is also a damn good PvP trinket.The lady hits hard and indeed,it can be used in the Arena (were you need $%^&loads of stamina anyway)
edit:you are right Felyae,can't be used i arena.Shame really as the 70 lvl version could be used in arena

Hits fairly hard; between 600 and 800 is what I've seen so far. There also is some strange DoTlike thing that sometimes deals arounr 50-100 damage. She is present for 20ish seconds, and hits about every one and a half to two sec.

So besides the ungodly +170 stamina I also get a distraction and dpser to protect flags in battlegrounds. Hell, as a PvPer I'd gladly give up 84 +crit for that!

Gah! Curse all this redicolously smexy welfare gear! There was a time, in the Burning Crusade were I flat out refused to sport welfare gear, back when all pally tanks had was consecration, and rogues were the stuff of nightmares!

But....Of course, with items like "The black heart" and this thing, those days are gone. Which leaves one thing to be said, when all tanks are capped....MOAR STAMINA!

because after all, isn't that what most groups base your skill on, your health pool?

This is dropped off Coren Direbrew as part of a daily quest during the Brewfest season. (as of 2009)

His complete loot table:
1st time you fight him, he will drop Direbrew's Dire Brew which you can turn into Ipfelkofer Ironkeg for 40 Brewfest Prize Tokens, then..

A) Guaranteed to drop one of these epic trinkets:
-Ancient Pickled Egg.
-Brawler's Souvenir.
-Mithril Pocketwatch.
-Coren's Chromium Coaster.
-Bitter Balebrew Charm.
-Bubbling Brightbrew Charm.

B) Lucky Groups have a slight chance to finding:
-Direbrew's Shanker 2.0.
-Direbrew's Remote.
-Tankard O' Terror.

C) Very Lucky groups have a slighter chance to finding:
-Swift Brewfest Ram.
-Great Brewfest Kodo.

The NPC can be feared, for the record. Only saw King Ymiron do it, probably works elsewhere. No clue about PvP.

This trinket may sound "silly" dropping from a seasonal event and extra sillyness points for its maidens but it's clearly _the_best_ trinket for its ilevel (and beyond) for "general purpose" tanking, i.e. tanking of any calibre up to heroic modes, with special cases excluded (e.g. requirement for extreme block values for Anub'arak heroic 1-tank offtanking). The trinkets clearly beating it are the ones dropping from Faction Champions 25 normal and heroic (even if they share cooldown) and _perhaps_ the yogg and ignis trinkets (perhaps since especially yogg's has considerably lower HP).

So ye, bad luck if you didn't get them while you had the chance if you can't get your hands fast on at least yogg and ignis' trinkets.

Very useful trinket to have for the first boss of Icecrown Citadel. If the other tank goes down pop this so It can eat a saber lash.

80 Lock

I've see this or the Bubbling Brightbrew charm each night after dropping Coren, and it will only let me Greed.

Need is greyed out, and a message says "Your class cannot loot this item" or something to that extent... what am I missing?

The Black Brewmaiden drinks then throws empty mugs that do 875 to 926 damage,
if engaged in melee combat she swings and hits for between 87 and 316 damage per hit (and although it is less
per hit than her ranged attack the damage occurs more frequently).

Here is part of two different combat logs:
