this is a rare fish that you can only get out of a "tastyfish" pool that spon all round stranglethorn vale on Sunday from 2 to four. this one you can hand in at BB for a fishing line enchant that goes on your pole for +5 fishing

there is a bug with the fish loot when the "looting this item will bind it to you" comes up
dont shift click the bobber or it will go away. in meaning you cant catch any of the 3 rare fish because of it or it cancels and will go away make sure you dont hold shift for the quick loot system!

This item is part of the Stranglethorn Vale Fishing Competition. Which takes place every Sunday between 14:00 and 16:00 Server time.

These are the items that can be won if you are the first person to hand in 40 Speckled Tastyfish to Riggle Bassbait in Bootybay.
Arcanite Fishing Pole and Hook of the Master Angler.

Once someone has won the fishing competition, you can still hand in your remaining Speckled Tastyfish to Jang in Bootybay. (repeatable quest)

When (if) you catch one of the rare fishes, a looting-box will appear (they've returned). Click yes, before you re-cast :)

Anyone know if there's only one of each rare fish to be caught? In other words, if one player catches the Dezian Queenfish, can another player still catch a Dezian Queenfish?

Every 5 Tastyfish are now bought for 18s now :( Too bad I had over 125 of em and sold em for less than what I thought they'd be worth

There are 3 rare fish that can be caught from School of Tastyfish during the Stranglethorn Vale Fishing Extravaganza, every Sunday between 14:00 and 16:00 (server time).

Here are all 3 rare fish you can catch and the reward items they give.

Brownell's Blue Striped Racer rewards you with Nat Pagle's Extreme Anglin' Boots +5 fishing
Keefer's Angelfish rewards you with Lucky Fishing Hat +5 fishing
Dezian Queenfish rewards you with High Test Eternium Fishing Line +5 fishing

Probably the best of the rare fish to catch, as you can apply the fishing line to other peoples fishing rods (if they are not soulbound or BoP), as opposed to the other items which are BoP after turning in the fish.
