I just did this quest , When i killed the Blood Elf guarding the Box the Blood Elf dropped an Arcane Tome , this can be traded for Aldor items required for Reputation with aldor , if you are with Scryers u can also hand this in for Reputation.

On the map there are three "housie" looking things in Tuurem. The Box will be found in/around the Top/Right one.

Easy way to the box - swim in via the canal from the north, can avoid almost all the mobs that way.

Recommend doing this along with Vessels of power (https://www.wowhead.com/cata/quest=10028 second step after collecting the olemba seeds) as the vessels the you need to collect are scattered throughout the village and respawn pretty quickly. I was able to complete both quests by staying near the "house" that contained this quest item and collecting the vessels around it on the little island, about 4 different spawn points with minimum amount of mobs. Plus got a few Firewing signets from killing the guard when it respawned. Took about 6 minutes total time. Your mileage may vary.

The quest is cake. The box is in the building at 54,30. You can still loot it from behind the wall and not aggro. Use the canal to get there easily. Simple!

Both quests require that the character is level 62 (minimum) to continue on the chains. Basically go to either Allerian or Stonebreaker, depends on your faction.

If you don't have coords go to enter Tuurem from the Shattrath side, but instead of entering the city go around the left wall and up onto the island in front of you. You will see a big red hut with usually a Warrior and Seer inside. Across from that hut there is a small platform that has a Firewing Courier and the Sealed Box next to him.
This quest is great to pair with Vessels of Power from Allerian Stronghold, the vessels are laying all around Tuurem.

Quest is a breeze go to canal at 55.31 ( as mentioned above ) swim to back of hut at 53.29 click on chest thought tear in hut if you do it from the right you don't have to fight any mobs took under 5 mins to complete.

To make this simple for normal human beings, it's just northeast of the fork in the road on your mini-map in Tuurem, look for the stone criss-crossing arches and you will find the box. catch me on down the trail...

As mentioned previously - The box IS NOT in the middle of Tuurem, in fact if looking at your map, you should be near to the North Easterly tent, and it is in a building on a smallisland just north East of the centre.

Solo'd this Q with a lvl407 High Elf Necromancer. First of all, let me tell you it was no easy feat ! To be honest...if it weren't for my character's dignity and the respect I hold for him...I would tell you what really happened. But here goes.

OK so I bust in with my double pet combo team (snake heads) and they spew lava at the courier. He resists ALL THE DAMAGE. Kinda cried irl, just a little bit. Cos that was half their rage bars....gone. For the rest of the fight! Sigh. AS the courier was laughing in an extremely malicious yet caring tone, he was distracted and I managed to pull off a Portal: Ironforge. FROM WHICH came a tiny gnome! He gaped out of the portal in awe and creeped out, his legs sliming on the floor (somethin fuzzy happens with my portals, I think I smoke too much or something.) The firewing courier started to cry? And i laughed. As SOON as i laughed, my mouth was fileld with blood. The courier has managed to get bahind me and garrote me from stealth? With my pets attacking him? KK BUG PL0X. Anyway i was bleeding away like struggling to breathe n stuff cos my throat had just been sliced open by a garrote......ok. The courier was twiddlin his thumbs man - he didn't know what else to do. My pets were cowering on the ground (rank 16 - didn't help em or save em tho) while I eyed them down...making sure they knew they would be receiving WHIP & CHAIN (Rank 11) later that evening as punishment for being such poor combat pets. Anyway....so we're just dying and crying while the courier is /cackle......ing at us. He knew NOT the word mercy. He started to summon a GIANT ball of fire.......larger than the star Alderaban (or however it is spelled in civilisation - (with the S cos I AIN'T American)) ANYWAY so he like summoned this thing and as it was being created, his voice rose and rose, his laughter exceeding the limits of my mental control. I started to quickly die inside, without him even touchin me. Like....nerf paladins pl0x. When the fireball was fully created, the courier immediately started spinning it on his index finger. Then he bounced it up and down off the ground.......I was startin to have visions of SPACE JAM. Then SUDDENLY! A bright light appeared in the sky above....it was beautiful...i mean wow ! REALLY @#$%ing beautiful. Well over with the beautiful part...how old is that. Basically it was this hot night elf priestess. She cast dispel magic rank 2 on the Courier and the fireball disappeared! She then winked at me and I DISTINCTLY heard the sound of repairing your gear at a repair vendor. DISTINCTLY. I definitely heard that. Sure of it. Yes.

Coords were good so I stealthed in with my 64 Feral Druid and cleaned Firewings clock. Got the box, grabbed his loot, stealthed and no one knew I was there.

i was running through this quest and got this rare chain with like a 9mp/5 +20 healing +13 int. BOE nice eh? off of the courier dude oh yeah its amulet of sanctification

It’s in a building with 3 little torches at the door at 53,30. The box is glowing, so it's pretty easy to spot. And it's defended by a Firewing Courier (for those of you with the ability to track).

I found the box in the north east part of Tuurem, and it was guarded by a Firewing Courier (lvl 64). Pretty easy as a lvl 64 Draenei warrior. I found the box in a "house" with three torches outside. The Firewing Courier respawn really fast, and it gave me a huge chok, when I saw him again :p

if your still have trouble finding the guy after you use /target firewing courier but still cant find axactly where it is, if your a lock or hunter, send the pet to attack it and itll lead u strait to it.

/target Firewing Courier helped pretty good. Let me know I was at least near him. Then I found him perfectly tucked out of vision from anyone riding down the road. This is yet another simple quest that Blizzard tried to add a few hours to your gameplay by simply hiding the NPC. I found him HIDING on the island in the Village that has the stream going all the way around it with no connecting bridges. Pretty much the middle land rise. I don't know if he moves but I know that from this position noone would ever see him from a mount on the road riding by. Just like a strong monster standing on top of a Truesilver Mining Node, this will make you pissed at blizzard.

K, the CORRECT coordinates for this quest is 53,29 - cross first bridge and look to your left - you will see a large hut with a stone hut across from it - you will have to swim across stream to get to it. The green glow box is in the stone hut with Firewing Courier.

53,30 are the correctco-ords, right under the "E" in "Tuurem", in a wrecked building, guarded by a firewing courier

One good way is to use the /target firewing courier to see where he is hiding, or more like, if you're even close to the guy. If you cant target him with that, then you're way off.

Quest itself, was easy , since the mob's inside the tuurem are not strong and its easy to lure even one by one.

confired at 53,29. I tried the area 54,30 but was not able to find the box... i then tried 53,29 and found it in the hut exactly where the post said. There is a sufire currior (sry for spelling) gaurding box.. easy kill.

54, 30 was it for me. Guarded by a Firewing Courier.

So, yeah sure the two listed coords are close together - but that's across a river, and hidded in another hut away. With everything sparkling in the area if you're also on the Drainei Vessels quest, it's a big thing.

Also, the respawn on the courier and the box is extremely fast. Like, maybe a minute.

53 40 guarded by a firewing courieryou cant miss it, its huge and its glowing blue, just a matter of picking it up. if youre a lock/hunter, you can keep the courier occupied with your pet while you simply pick it up.
its also inside a tent/building... you cannott miss it, straightforward quest, hard to aggro lots of mobs at once- easy XP. 53,40.

Walk the path from Shattrath city towards Tuurem.

When you get to the first bridge facing south, to your left is a stone building (east) the other side of the stream.

The box is glowing in the middle, you cannot miss it.

53,30 is the correct location.

It was 54, 29 for me... that was standing on top of the box.
53, 29 is the entrance ramp of the building, (which faces NW)
54,30 is the back wall of the building =)

Mention of the "firewing courier" guarding the box and "the LARGE box with a strong green glow" is also very helpful. It was in a building NE of the river.

To complete this quest you need to find the Sealed Box and then deliver it to Earthbinder Tavgren.

Make your way to the east of the Cenarion Thicket, just follow the road to Tuurem area. Enter the village and go toward the bridge.
Look at the houses to the left of the bridge, just across the water. Get in the right one - kill Firewing Courier and take Sealed Box

You know, come to think of it, I do recall selling several boxes of strange and exotic engineering parts to Empoor about a month ago. I'm not sure what they'd be used for, but I know that they were delivered to Tuurem.

Perhaps one or more of those boxes is still there?
