Sporewing is just a regular sporebat lvl 62, very easy.

He roams the western part of Dead Mire, i personally killed it at loc 77, 46.

All the scrolls rewarded by this quest are of limited availability. They are all purchasable from the first two vendors in limited supply with strength, stamina, agility and spirit sold by the third, also in limited supply.:

Scrolls stack with elixirs of the same stat bonus but not single stat player buffs. In other words scrolls of stamina, intellect and spirit wont stack with PW:F, Divine Spirit or Arcane intellect and are of little use in a raid.

Scrolls of agility and strength *do* stack with shaman totems buffing that stat and are highly sought after. I suggest choosing these either for personal use when raiding at level 70 or to sell on the AH. I choose the agility scrolls and sold them for 10g on Defias Brotherhood - EU

The scrolls of protection stack with elixirs and player buffs but don't tend to be so popular.

The quest to kill Blacksting is not a pre-req for this quest. I have definitely already done this quest, but have yet to kill Blacksting.

Took longer to get there than it did to find and kill. lvl 64 DK and easy.

Found him at 80,49 but waited til 79,45 to kill im cause of the adds.

A level 62 Beast which hits you for Melee and casts once ot twice Black Spore during a fight that damages you for nature damage.

Now the great part is when you kill the mob you gain a Buff "Energizing Spores" which increase all of your Stats by 30 for 5 minutes.

Each time you kill it.

Just finished this and none of the glitches mentioned in previous posts showed up. Level 62 Hunter 10050 XP and choice of scrolls as indicated. The coords are all good. I rode into the general area, pursued by a Withered Giant and Marshfang, and Sporewing just showed up along with them. My pet tanked them all long enough for me to take them out one at a time. This is one that can take all of 5 minutes if you're at the right level.

I completed this quest, got credit for the kill but when I returned the quest was missing from my quest list.

it was one of the most easy quests i have ever done.... he have no adds just walked inside that place saw him killed him he is just a normal enemy nothign special.....just lvl 62. killed him in like 2 hits <fire mage power FTW) ^^

78,45 for me, he patrols around so make a "/target Sporewing" macro and spam it to find him. He's a beast and trackable. He has maybe 7k-8k health didn't check as it was 4am. He's level 62 and easily soloable by any class unless you get too many adds.

Went to the Dead Mire looking all around for sporewing, finally found "Unknown" killed it (gave me credit for killing him)and went back to turn in the quest. Thought maybe the "Unknown" thing was just a glitch, but when I talked to the quest giver to turn it in she would only let me select the scroll of intellect as a reward, the rest of the scrolls had no description next to them. Weird, has anyone else had this happen?

To complete this quest you need to kill Sporewing.

Make your way to the northwest of Swamprat Post toward The Dead Mire area. You should search the area close to the mire (you don't need to get into the dead mire).
Sporewing roams across the area and may be hard to spot as it doesn't look unusual, the best way to track it is spam /target Sporewing chat command.

Someone needs to find a way to make Reavij come to his senses! He's ignoring his duty and instead, he's devoting all his energy to getting my attention. I've tried ignoring him and telling him to stop. Nothing seems to work.

Until he gets over this, I'm left cleaning up after him. He was supposed to have dealt with Sporewing, but I'll bet the monster is alive and well. If you have time, would you mind going to the western part of the Dead Mire and killing the bat? I'll deal with Reavij in the meantime.
