Wait... I risk my life battling Kil'Jaeden, aid in the cleansing of the Sunwell, am on first-name terms with the repair vendor nearby... and some random guard won't let me in unless their boss says 'kay'?

From a Lore perspective the Sunwell is empty- My guess is that you will go to a phased Sunwell area. After all, it makes sense.

A warning!

If you forget to pick up this quest and go to Quel'danas. Like I did, idiot that I am. The entire area will be phased to this quest and you will be -stuck-.

This is especially annoying if your hearth is cooling... like mine was.

If u go around back in the phased Quel'danas zone, where the Dead scar is, you can find the remains of Thalorien Dawnseeker. If u click it, it will open a text box saying something along the lines: Here lie the remains of Thalorien Dawnseeker, the last wielder of Quel'delar

Altough that isnt true, seeing as Queen Lana'thel was the last wielder of Quel'delar.
Still nice little detail! I paid my respects to the last right wielder of my future blade

To get to Quel'Danas, first port to Shat and from there you can port to Quel'Danas.

At the moment, this is a bit bad. Groups are definitely prioritized ahead of solo people - rightly so - but prioritized to such a degree that I've been trying 15 minutes without success.

Try it on off hours, I guess.

I noticed a few 'mistakes' in the phased Quel'danas version

1) The memorial is gone. - it should still be there. It's a memorial after all
2) Kael'thas' minions are still attacking on dragonhawks
3) The naga are still there. Seems a bit fishy that they aren't driven away
4) Fires still burn at the place which showed Brutallus fighting Madrigosa - even though they, and all the demons, are gone
5) The sunwell load screen later in the questchain still shows Kil'jaeden
6) Kil'jaeden's face still stares at you through the carpet on the wall in the Sunwell room
7) Demonic crystals are still able to be found inside the Sunwell Plateu
8) Fires still burn in the burnt out camps inside the Sunwell Plateu

Dunno if this should be considered a bug, but the Silvermoon Builders that populate the phased area all speak to you as if they were vendors hawking their wares.

Descrizione

Take Quel'Delar to the Sunwell as quickly as possible, <name>. Trust in Uther's words when he says that you will not always be able to control the blade while it is subject to the evil of the Lich King's influence. You must travel to the Isle of Quel'Danas, and there, seek entry to the Sunwell itself, where you can cleanse the sword.

The guardians of the Sunwell will not simply allow you to walk in, so you must find Halduron Brightwing, who will be inspecting the guards there.
