They take away your naga illusion for this part, so you have a long swim to the island. I'd bring a water walking potion if you dont have class skills (swim form, water walk, etc) to make water travel easier.

Just talk to the questgiver again, and he'll give you another charm for the naga.

Then you wont have to swim all they way out there at regular swim speed.

If you are higher level, you can dismount Lord Hydronis and kill Lady Valishj yourself, saves a lot of time at 85.
