Just summon your Depleted War Golem using Golem Control Unit and kill the Lightning Sentries. Simple quest.

Hint: Bring some friends who's on the quest as well, it counts for 1 charge per golem active (includes party members golems)

Quest description is full of sh@t you have to kill Lightning Sentry(Elementals), thats all.

You DO NOT need to be in a party with someone to get the charge when they kill the elemental. As long as your golem is near to an elemental when it dies, it will charge, whether you tapped the mob or not.

You won't get the charges if you summon the Golem after they are dead. I learned the hard way.

Note for hunters:
This quest is a bit weird. Long story short, you don't have to be in melee-range for your Golem to get the charge. If you kill the mob from a reasonable range, he'll run up on his own and get charged.

If you kill a mob from your max range (even without Hawk Eye), your golem won't run up to get the charge. But if you stand near the corpse of the one you just killed, and then kill another one, he will choose to charge up at that first kill instead of the more recent kill.

So, TLDR: You don't have to be in melee range, but it's a wise idea to not be too far away from the mob with the golem.

Can you keep the golem from this quest as a noncombat companion? seems like he doesnt have a conditional mentioned in it's description (like "must be in _____")

As a elemental shaman this quest is a pain in the as since they are immune to lightning spells.

Annoying quest as for me (Rogue)

1. Sentries being immune for poisons which is my main source of damage

2. Deplated War Golem walking in my way all the time so i can't see the Charged Sentry Totem

3. Deplated War Golem standing inside the Sentry i want to kill so i can't see where to Disctract

Golems should be walking like 20 years behind you, not in front / 1 yard behind you :|

Immune to Nature spells. Annoying quest for Balance Druids.

Also, you can't aoe them down. If you want the charges, you have to kill them one by one.

Go to 73,55 then activate your Depleted War Golem, and then run around killing 10 Lightning Sentry (tornado looking guys). The War Golem will get the energy needed after every kill.

Descrizione

The golem's cells have just enough power to run it at the lowest levels, but it can't power any of its combat systems.

The good news is that the perimeter of Dun Argol is patrolled by lightning sentries. We should be able to use their power to charge up the golem's weapon systems.

Bring the golem with you, take it close to them, it will absorb the power as the sentries die.
