Nothing else to learn from Trainers that is viable for leveling from here on.

This will take you to 345 before it becomes Yellow and for the amount of effort it takes to collect Knothide, Yellow isn't a good thing.

After that its Rep grinding and/or Random World Drops.

That wouldn't be so bad if Blizzard got rid of scraps for Mobs 66+.

I'm at 354 (yellow), and this recipe is still giving me skillups every time I make them. They're extremely cheap to make, compared to the different Drums and Heavy Clefthoof stuff. I'll make these until they turn green.

Call me crazy but I made them until they turn grey. Yes, that's at 365.

To be exact I made these first from around 340 and up to 360. Then I made a Heavy Clefthoof Vest and Pants which I wanted to use (being a feral druid). Then I was thinking to grind some more Thick Clefthoof Leather to make Heavy Clefthoof Boots but I couldn't resist trying my luck with these a bit longer and voila, I'm at 365.

What made it easy for me is that I bought a lot of the Knothide Leather (and scraps) from AH and concentrated on grinding the Fel Scales (which weren't being sold at AH). Meanwhile the money spent on Knothide Leather was coming back to me by selling Arcane Dust disenchanted from the boots by an alt. On average the value of the DE mats was more or less covering the value of the mats for the boots (including the Fel Scales).

It was taking about 3 boots per skill point between 355 and 360 and then typically 6-8 for each skill point 362 to 365.

Considering that each Heavy Clefthoof Boots you craft is a loss of 50-60g in terms of the AH value of mats, while with DE the Scaled Draenic Boots are roughly breaking even, I would definitely recommend this method for levelling 345 to 365, and do it again for any alt. You do need Enchanting 275 on one of your characters though.

i've been looking for the person i train at for this pattern for days and i can't find him. the last thing i found at a trainer was the thick draenic vests and i have none of the scaled set learned. are there requirements i have to fulfill before i can get this?? that sounds really unlikely but i really want this!!!

it's yellow at 345 but;
345-350: i made 5 of them and get skill all from crafted. so it's a good choice to level up from 345 to 350 with Scaled Draenic Boots

350-353: this time 5 of them gave me 3 skill points so think wise at this point. because you'll also learn Heavy Knothide Aromr Kit at 350 and it only consume 3x Heavy Knothide Armor.

imo 350+ is not good for Scaled Draenic Boots

It will be located under your "Mail" section of your Leatherworking menu.

I spam-learned all recipes and couldn't find it when I hit 340 until I scrolled down.
