You can kill Lord Everblaze as a group and everyone in your group will be able to loot the Ember.

Really helpful if you happen along and there are a few people waiting for the respawn (which as of right now is very quick) , but still just try and get everyone to party up and it makes it that much quicker.

I had big problems finding Lord Everblaze, because my coords didnt work. So this is how to find him. Look on your map. Look for the broken bridge on the map and fly to it. From there just fly a little bit to the east, and you are there. tip: It is above the ground.

The maiden is in the middle of Winter's Breath Lake, just below camp winterhoof

Is there a reason wowhead says Valiant's Seal x2 is the reward for this quest? I just picked it up, and it says Aspirant's Seal x2 is my reward. Perhaps the Valiant's Seal is the reward for this daily after you've completed the Up To The Challenge quest (get 15 Aspirant's Seals)?

It depends on your current status, if you're an Aspirant, you'll get Aspirant seals, if you're a Valiant, you'll get Valiant seals etc..

The amount of flying this quest includes makes it pretty bad. Of course if you really want the seals..

The rep reward from this (and other valiant quests) is actually 62 rep with all horde factions other than the one you take the quest with, 250 for the horde faction the quest is from and 250 for the Sunreavers.

For example: If you complete this quest as a valiant of Thunderbluff, you'll receive:

250 rep with Thunderbluff
250 rep with Sunreavers
and
62 rep with Undercity, Silvermoon, Darkspear Trolls, and Orgrimmar

Note that while I did not receive any in-game notification of the rest of the reputation gains, checking my rep bars before and afterwards it is clear that you do actually receive them. Completing all 4 dailies will award you 1000 rep with each of Sunreavers and Thunderbluff and 250 rep with all other horde factions.

I had a problem standing next to her and using the thing to break her ice. It said I had to be near the maiden (although I was right there.) I exited game, came back in and that solved it.

Okay, I had trouble doing this without a flyer, so here is how to do it w/o a flyer.
Go to Wyrmrest Temple, fly to the middle and get the daily quest called "Defending Wyrmrest Temple", Talk to the dragon infront of the guy who gives the quest and fly all the way over to Lord Everblaze, if it says it will drop you, use the increased movement speed skill on the dragon, and just drop whenever you see Lord Everblaze, then go to camp winterhoof and use the ember on the frozen ice block in the lake.

She re-freezes a few seconds after you free her from the ice.

Apparently her curse doesn't stay broken for long.

In southern Crystalsong Forest, overlooking the Crystal Vice's exit, you will find Lord Everblaze. Kill him and take the everburning ember from his corpse.

Bring it to the center of Winter's Breath Lake in northern Howling Fjord, and use it to free the maiden encased in ice. She is the guardian of an ancient sword and will award it to whoever frees her.
