First, Lord Everblaze is on a plateau in southern Crystalsong. Look for him around (55, 71), which is between the text "The Unbound Thicket" and the exit to Dragonblight on the map. It doesn't seem to be possible to reach this plateau without flight. Loot his Everburning Ember and take it to Winter's Breath lake in Howling Fjord, which is north of Skorn and south of Camp Winterhoof. The Maiden of Winter's Breath Lake is on a small ice-island in the middle, at (42.2, 19.7). Target her, use the Everburning Ember to receive the Winter's Edge, then return to your questgiver.

This quest, along with , and , is one of three weapon-fetching dailies available to Argent Tournament Aspirants and Valiants. Each faction has its own version, though they're identical aside from the specific quest NPC. This particular quest is for Horde Aspirants. You'll find the Alliance equivalent for Aspirants here.

Found Lord Everblaze on a live server at 55.5, 74.9, as adashiel mentioned this is east of the runed bridge and just to the north east of a round tower. Same the same model as a Seething Revenant but a bit bigger. Hes surrounded by a group of elementals who are not actually mobs (I couldn't interact with them at all). He seems to re-spawn very quickly now (possibly a result of him being the target for a daily quest).

Maiden of Winter's Breath Lake is easy to find at 42.2, 19.6 this is the lake south west of Camp Winterhoof for those without cords.

You can use the dragons used for the Wyrmrest daily to get to the plateau.
Save your sprint for when it says to return to the battle, if you use it early or late you won't make.
It's barely makeable.

The three basic quests given by this NPC, or other similar NPCs of other five factions including A Blade Fit For A Champion and A Worthy Weapon and The Edge of Winter, are multiboxer-friendly. This means that only one character in a team, or even not in a team, needs to gather the materials for summoning the quest item giver. The other team members or characters standing nearby can also interact with the NPC to obtain the quest item.

However, the two collection quests given out by the globin NPCs, Jack Me Some Lumber and A Chip Off the Ulduar Block at Argent Tournament do not work similarly. If you have five characters, you need to gather 12 x 5 lumbers for example, i.e. killing 60 mobs.

If you are only after the purple rewards, you may skip these two quests.

What a total pain in the @$$ quest! It runs you all over the map every day and ends at the wrong end of the wrong zone for 80s - way to go Blozzard!

on the map look at where it says unbound thicket..to the left of the U theres a mountain ..its at the base to the right of the rectangle like thingy on the map...54.6,74.9

This appeared to be glitched today. I stood all over the ice block using the fire and kept getting the message I had to be near the maiden. I was standing inside of her on several occasions when I tried. Is anyone else having this problem?

OK, came across a bit of a glitch here.

Got the quest, flew there, killed him, got the ember, flew over there, selected her, clicked on the quest item, she spoke her lines, and then nothing. She became encased in ice again, and I had no Blade, and no more ember!

Decided to look here, and no mention of a bug.

Went back to the game and decided to HS and log out. Couldn't hearth-stone for some reason, and then realized the maiden was still selected, so I hit my escape key to de-select. Wham-bam, thank you ma'am, I got the item and the quest became listed as complete.

Very odd . . .
