You must pick up the tranquilizing dart on the ground where you get the quest. Throw it at the bees when the 'tranquilized' buff expires.

On my server/realm, the bees were evading. Every single one. It will work eventually. Just keep spamming your button and hitting the bee from different directions. If it doesn't work, go to another bee and keep spamming, moving from bee to bee.

It's a pain in the arse, but keep trying and it'll eventually complete. Hopefully they fix this quest soon.

Tranquilizing dart is at 72.47 69.77

As soon as I accepted the quest it was completed showing 7/5(tranquilized OR SLAIN), but it would not let me turn in the quest. I never saw a dart to pick up.

The quest log shows the dart portion as optional, but it has the dart as a requirement to turn in.

After relogging, the quest was reset, and the dart was available to pickup. Other comments ring true, annoying quest.

Kill bees you can kill. Then tranquilize their corpses. Get 2 points. Can't find bees that aren't evading? Go around the edges and tranq dead bees.

If you are unable to turn in, complete OR abandon & redo the Bee in the Bonnet quest. You need to find all 3 hives, 1 isn't shown as a yellow dot but it's at 74.33 69.53.
Once I clicked the 3rd hive, the Final hive was shown at 72.54 65.74 and I was able to turn in Such a Sleebee-head.

If the quest shows as completed but you can’t turn it in (like it happened to me), make sure you have the Tranquilizing Dart from the quest pickup location. Then tranquilize 5 bees, if one doesn’t work, just move on to the next until it’s done.

I was unable to turn in Bee in the Bonnet or Such a Sleebee-head. I abandoned both quests and then picked them up on at a time. First, I completed and was able to turn in Bee in the Bonnet. I then picked up Such a Sleebee-head, completed it and went to turn in, but the quest-giver was not there now. Unable to turn in. UNTIL! I tranqualized a couple more bees and then the quest-giver was down at the hut where the last hive was in the previous quest. ( /way 72, 66 )
