This quest is the first in a short series of 5 quests which unlocks access to the new Warbank feature and awards a Warband Distance Inhibitor, a new spell which enables mobile access to the warbank.

This quest and it's rewards are account wide and the quest disappears from your other characters on completion.

The ONLY toon of mine to get this quest is locked in MOP Remix ...quest involves leaving Panda land

Edit: The first character you log in with After the patch gets the Quest. If you mistakenly do it with a Remix character simply abandon and log back in with another NON-Remix toon and quest will pop up for that character. Cheers!

Worth noting, for those of us who haven't been back to Gadgetzan in a long time: if you've done the Bloodsail Admiral rep grind, Gadgetzan is still mad at you.

I'm putting this here in case other people are like me and forgot how too get to Gadgetzan. The town is located in Tanaris, on the Kalimdor continent of Azeroth. For alliance characters - go to the Mages Sanctum in Stormwind and take the portal to Caverns of Time. That will put you very close to where you need to be for the quest.

If you're at war with Gadgetzan talk to Rumsen Fizzlebrack outside of the walls. His repeatable quest to turn in 40 mageweave and 4 strong flux will increase your rep but will also decrease bloodsail rep.

Sorry, I think I was not clear with my former comment. I'll try to be more clear:

This comment is not about the quests, but with the NPC Blue.

Before patch 11.0, after exiting the Mage Tower into Stormwind, Blue was having a dialog about adopt some corgis and hide them from Azurathel (the dialog is documented in this comment by solitha).

Now, in this Warband quest, she have them with her and you can use they as a extra action button to help in the quest.

I found it a really cool detail. Sorry if this caused any confusion :)

If you're here today trying to work out why you can't access your warbank (in use by another character), they are fixing a critical issue and have temporarily suspended them. Full article from devs here.

I noticed that the Heroes Call board is still active, which is really stupid. It's huge and sparkly, and will attract new players who think they're supposed to click it and go back to old content, taking them away from the TWW questline.

I remember when MOP came out, that happened to me and I missed most of the MOP content when it was new because I thought I was supposed to finish all of the Heroe's Call content before I could go on to MOP, and I ended up spending months doing old expansions.

Hi all, couldn't access Blue in the bank at Gadgetzan in Tanaris - the quest ? icon showed on the map when I was in the bank, but couldn't "see" her. Disabled my addons (not sure which one was making her "disappear.") She's then be in the bank, at the left. :) After I turned in the quest, then turned the addons back and everything went back to working for "Blue." Hope that helps.

Any idea why I can't complete this quest? I've abandoned it many times and when I click on Blue, it does absolutely nothing.

FYI, the Partially Teleported adds drop transmog pieces not yet available so don't be like my and find out after completing the quest. I now can't loot or see the adds.

I got the quest when logging in - but then it disappeared from my quest log!

Turns out I got a letter / quest starting item in my inventory. I had to click it to get the quest into my log.

Since the new expansion is live, no character will get this quest 'Warbands: warbanding together' anymore. The warbands warbank is immediately available in a bank. (You still need to pay for the use of the different tabs)

Edit/update: I found the letter ... very subtle. I resub'd to TWW and (I assume) got the letter when I first logged in (after a few years) and had my level squished (to 45, if it matters) and then did the character upgrade to 70, with all my inventory stuff ... packaged up and sent to me via mail (probably not getting the terminology correct, and am not sure if all my old inventory was sent to me via mail on the first login/level squish or step-up lvl 70) - this quest letter was in one of those many mails. So now I have the letter, yay! (That said, I'm having issues getting the quest to proc ... but I'll give it a day or two and see if something happens).

For the life of me, I can't get this quest to drop ... I believe (but am not totally sure) that I destroyed the 'letter' item which (might have?) dropped the first time I logged in after renewing my membership/buying TWW (after a many-year hiatus).

I started doing many of the 20th anniversary activities, many of which had 'notes' and such, with the quest 'letter' getting destroyed (I think) in a fit of 'over-cleaning' my backpack :-(

- I've tried logging into my various toons to get (/abandon) the quest, but they don't have it (the letter or quest ... which makes sense, as I've only logged on to one or two two toons before looking for this quest)
- I've tried calling the Blizzard support line, but they don't do in-game issues.
- I've tried the World of Warcraft Item Restoration service, and while I found items I've vendored, the letter was not an item available to restore.
- The letter doesn't seem to be in my main toon's bank (it's the only one I've played on since upgrading to TWW).
- A Battle.net article (247239) gives some info, but no solution seems to help ... it mentions:
-- If you don't remember deleting the item(s), check your bank (comment: checked the bank, not there)
-- If the item was provided by the quest giver, try talking to the quest giver again to receive a replacement (that would be 'Blue' in Gadgetzan, but they don't appear unless the quest is started, and I can't start the quest)
-- Abandoning a quest will usually delete all the quest items related to it (comment: I can't start the quest without the letter)
-- The Item Restoration page will not restore destroyed quest items. You must abandon the quest and start it again from scratch (comment: can't abandon the quest!)
- There is a Battle.net 'not listed here' site (https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/contact/464/ticket), where I've submitted a ticket, so far no response.

So ... I'm waiting with a Warband bank (which is good news), but no spell (which I assume will only be rewarded at the of the quest chain?)

Any ideas?

So I seem to be stuck ... any more ideas out there?

Try to check /run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(83492))
If the command return True, then fly to Gadgetzan and you'll see a blue quest.

Complete chain quest and receive the warbank spell !

hi guys I accidentally abandoned the quest for unlocking the Warband Bank (Warbands: Warbanding Together) can someone share this quest for me pls?

It's patch 11.2.5 and I had no clue this existed until I was watching a Twitch streamer who pulled it out and surprised me. They told me what it was, and I vaguely recalled a quest that disappeared from pre-TWW. So I went hunting for information. Sadly, all these people give great things, but no one tells you what to do if you don't even have the quest at all. If you have the quest, or don't have the quest and need the beginning quest giver, you're in luck. Pop into a portal room in either faction--I tend to use my Broken Shores Dalaran hearthstone and just run through the faction portal there to get there. Then find the Caverns of Time portal in the portal room, duck in, and fly across the lake to Gadgetzan. Yes, the quest giver IS there, but she's in the inn on the left side as you enter. You'll know her from the vividly purple triangle. She gave me the quest (yay!) and then I followed the steps for each portion of the journey (it's a cute scenario).

Remember to use your extra action bar. Besides some of the more normalish spells it provides, there are stampedes of corgis. Why not? They wriggle and run at your enemy.

The steps involve going out, hunting murloc and kobolds that got caught in a teleportation fiasco and some rifts. Go back, grab the quest for activating a obelisk looking goblin/ish technology device and then you'll fight your evil self. I died before realizing and slapping my forehead at my not using my extra action bar. Lesson learned. It made it easier, but it was still tricky in some spells that weren't as strong as the others. I was playing my Horde mage so I was facing not only Evil Me but Mirror Image Me s (not sure how to plural that) as well.

Once you finish that, you head back to the bank and activate a device in the middle of the room. The goblins will yell at you. "I'm banking here!"

Then you go into the inn. Talk to the quest giver again, and wa-la. Done.

Because I'm not the best at explaining things, and it's 2:10 am and I might have messed something up, here's a YouTube video that I found using Google Search. Give her some love because she doesn't have many views.

To access your new Warbank device? Go into your spell book and look in the general tab. There's a Warbank folder that has a small * shaped sub icon. That's it. Put that on your bar, and there you go. Every character SHOULD have that in their spell book. The cool down appears to be 2 hours for each character. Druids can use it flying.

If you are looking for this on Alliance as a new player, as I was, and you accidently abandoned or lost the quest on another character...

The person to start the quest is in Stormwind Embassy, which is North Stormwind, standing next to the mailbox: Ambassador Moorgard

He gave me the starting quest "Warbands: Warbanding Together". Before that I couldn't see Blue in Gadgetzan so hopefully this will sort this questline out now!
