This is one of my favorite things from the WoW community in recent memory.
This is amaaazing! I'd love to buy prints of countries in this style to hang on my wall, lol!The art is beautiful so it would be a great fit for geeks and history buffs in general, not just wow-fans.Such a great idea!
Omg! Not only is my home state listed, but the city I live in is on it as well!
That's great. Now can we see Oregon.
I have a young guildie who lives in Ontario Canada. It would make her day if Ontario was next on the list. Believe me, I would even consider paying for it just to make her happy.
I dont think these beat the osrs stormwind map that someone madehttps://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/kn3snw/runescapestyle_map_of_stormwind_city_from_a/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3
Still misses the New Mexico map, though. NM got replaced by Virgina here: https://www.wowhead.com/news/ethanol-maps-makes-more-wow-style-us-state-maps-323978
Always nice to see content like this.
This is badass!Nice work, would love to see more.
BarraDois made this same work with Brazilian maps a long time ago...
This makes me think a Dutch person made these maps because of "The netherlands" being very specific and even all the states (provincies) are written in correct dutch.
I like that Craters of the Moon was renamed to Crates of Elune on the Idaho map 😁
As native Dutch there's not too much to complain about the first of the European incarnation of these types of maps. Of course, if I state that there is something to mention: the castles refer to province capitals and Rotterdam (the northern Zuid-Holland one), yet it's missing two in Noord-Holland: Amsterdam (I mean, the country capital is not a slight oversight :>) and Haarlem (by size not really comparable but neither are Assen and Lelystad, I guess). Interested to see the motivation to leave any castle out of NH.
these are GORGEOUS.
The netherlands one looks like the wetlands
