It looks like this is a tribute to the Joust arcade game; judging by the screenshot of the pet. It looks exactly like the main character from that game. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joust_(video_game)

At the moment it's not possible to obtain both pets. You can only choose one of the two pets from the last quest in the chain.

Unique Features
The Blue Mini Jouster is not a unique companion pet because it shares the same model with the Gold Mini Jouster. This pet has pretty generic animations and shares the animations that in-game condors have. When this pet is summoned, the owner will /cheer and a flash of blue light will appear.

How to get it
This pet is a reward from the quest Egg Wave in Mount Hyjal. You have the option between picking this pet, or the Gold Mini Jouster. Be confident with the color of mini jouster you want to have as your companion as once you complete the quest and accept your reward there is no way to change your choice.

Just got this little guy a second ago. The quest you have to do for it was a ton of fun I must say! Something i'm not use to at all.

If you face Farden Talonshrike and look at the left side of him, you see a ledge that is brighter then the area inside the hatchery. On this ledge are nice amount of eggs, while there are almost no balls of fire dropping down from the ceiling. Didn't count them all, but there are around 25-30 eggs there.

The Blue Mini Jouster is a pet reward from Egg Wave
You have the choice between Blue Mini Jouster and Gold Mini Jouster

After completing the daily Vigilance on Wings 10 times, you will be awarded with the achievment The 'Unbeatable?' Pterodactyl: BEATEN. which will reward you with Chirping Box (this will allow you to collect the mini jouster that you didn't pick in the initial quest)

So, thisn is a bit weird, my ex girlfriend just told me she bought this mount from some vendor in Darnassus, but she doesn't remember the name of it... I haven't had the time to go and try to find it myself, but does anyone know if this is actually possible? Since I've not been able to find anywhere on the internet that says this is a possibility.

So I already had the Blue Mini Jouster, completed the achievement The 'Unbeatable?' Pterodactyl: BEATEN. expecting to get the Gold Mini Jouster, and instead got another Blue Mini Jouster. So I went to Kaestrasz (Stable Master) in Valdraken and just bought it from him. After buying it, he no longers sells it.
