Engineers are in charge of crafting Guns, a handful of Wrist pieces as well as Goggles for buyers in need. To make the profession a bit more interesting, Dragonflight introduces a new system of Tinkers. These are modules that can be crafted and slotted into crafted gear. These each have their own fun and unique abilities.

Engineers have many different types of gadgets, tools, accessories and even bombs to craft and sell to others. These items can help others improve their stats, damage, or even help players craft items on the go!

With the new system of Profession Equipment in Dragonflight, Engineers are tasked with supplying 5 different professions with their BiS tools and accessories!

Making Gold with Engineering in Dragonflight

Because of how complex Engineering is and the amount of recipe types you can learn, you will always be busy crafting items. This means you will have a lot of diversity within your stock which is always a plus side for crafters.

Crafting Stations are a brand new system in Dragonflight. Normally, crafters will be required to stand at these stations and craft within major flight points and cities. Engineers have the ability to craft Portable Work Stations! These can be huge for crafters who need to craft some quick potions before a raid or quickly restock their items during questing!

Engineers will be utilizing the new Crafting Order system as well as the traditional Auction House. They have the opportunity to craft many different consumables to be sold across the Region while focusing on high-end armor and weapons to sell locally thru Crafting Orders.

Things You can Make with Engineering Engineering

Tinkers: These new items like Tinker: Breath of Neltharion or Tinker: Supercollide-O-Tron can be slotted into crafted gear and weapons to enhance their stats and abilites.

Armor: Engineers will mainly be crafting Goggles, Battle-Ready Binoculars, but they also can craft a handful of Wrist pieces.

Guns: Whenever you need a P.E.W. x2 or a Ol' Smoky, Engineers got you covered!

Utility Items: There are so many types of utility items that can be crafted by Engineers. These include Scopes, Portable Crafting Stations, Bombs, and so much more.

Miscellaneous Items: Do you like Ducks? If so, Engineering is the profession for you! Have an army of D.U.C.K.O.Y. to help you fight or have a cute Quack-E to follow you wherever you go!

How do I get the helm and gloves to show when I am "dressed for engineering"? I have all three equipped, but only the hammer shows.

I made my new goggles and was looking for info on what goes in the "Tinker Socket" and getting nowhere - if you're like me and Ctrl+F for "socket", go read the section about "Tinkers". Tinkers go in the sockets :)

this article is over saling it by far there was only two things engineering was ever good for and we all know them .bling and geeves and if you could just randomly do it we wouldn't need engineering at all this isnt classic.where people used the goblin side of it for bombs.its the same two things now plus the workbenches that's all i see worth anything in that professions book.i have the other professions on my alts im only doing this to get my geeves back out.

The new profession equipment no longer requires Engineers to have Blacksmith Hammer, Arclight Spanner, or Gyromatic Micro-Adjustor in their inventory or equipped as profession equipment.
