Once you have used the Elixir of Shadows, you will be able to see the shadow Arakkoa for 20 minutes (multiple turn-ins of World of Shadows will reward multiple elixirs, so this time is easily extended). Zellek and Ishaal can be found at the tops of the trees at 68,78 and 69,74. Skizzik is in the hut at 69,82.

Ishaal drops Ishaal’s Almanac when killed during this quest, which starts the quest Ishaal’s Almanac .

So glad I found this guide. Thanks so much. I was doing the grind you described, but was starting to burn out. Thanks for including the quests from Ogri'la. It may only be a small amount of rep from those for the Skyguard, but it helps break the monotony of the grind. Thanks again!

doing this method did work well. at lvl 90 with end MoP gear it took me about 8hrs with breaks. I concentrated on the mobs on the platforms in the trees and the mobs around the skull piles and flew around in a circle. I accrued enough Time lost scrolls to summon about 8 of the smaller bosses to then summon the big boss. Using the guild rep banner helped alot. It is a long grind but it is worth it.

Thank you for this very informative guide. After reading it, I managed to get from 0 neutral to exalted in about three and a half hours. I've been putting off farming this faction's rep for years, but your guide both inspired me and gave all the information needed for a quick, easy grind. Thanks again!

TL;DR version of my tips for doing this quickly and efficiently:

Use a class with an instant, spammable aoe. (Mages, Discipline Priests, Guardian Druids, and Rogues are all excellent options)
Every little reputation gain bonus helps! If the darkmoon faire is going on, ride the carousel. If there is a holiday going on with a rep bonus buff, get it.
Form a party! If there are people of the same faction as you in Skettis, invite them to a party. It's less competition for Terokk spawns, and you'll also get more rep as they kill things between Terokk summons! My reputation per minute almost doubled when I got another fast person to join a party. Just remember to set the loot rules to free-for-all, or you'll have wasted loot on mobs that're tagged for other people in your party to loot.
After finishing the Terokk's Downfall questline (which starts with Threat from Above), begin to slaughter everything in sight- but be picky about what you focus on killing! Follow this priority order:
1. Treants. Go out of your way to kill these whenever you see them.
2. Summonable Minibosses. Whenever you come across a skull pile, summon a miniboss and kill everything around it until it becomes attackable, then kill it.
3. Arakkoas. This will make up the majority of the mobs you'll be slaughtering. Don't bother to focus on the shadowed arakkoas- all arakkoa are created equal, evidently, and give the same rep. You'll get more than enough time-lost scrolls to summon Terokk once every 15 minutes just by slaughtering everything.
4. Little birds. If you can kill one with the same attack you use to kill any of the above mobs, great. If not, don't bother to go out of your way to kill them- they can live to see another day, since they give only half the rep of the arakkoa, and no rep after revered.
Most importantly: Kill Terokk every time his skull pile spawns, but don't waste time sitting on his island waiting for it to spawn. Once he is killed, his skull pile spawns precisely 15 minutes later.
Terokk Tips:

The blizzard UI clock under your minimap has a built-in stopwatch (click the clock, and press the "show stopwatch" button). If you start the stopwatch precisely when you see Terokk killed, you'll be able to know down to the second when he can be summoned again.
Only the person who summons him (and their party) gets credit (and rep!) for the kill, so get there 30 or so seconds early, and be ready to click fast if there are people camping him.
You'll be moving around too much to use your guild banner effectively while slaughtering everything, but its cooldown will be up for every time Terokk can be summoned. Be sure to use it every time!

Glad I found this guide. The tabard is perfect for my Unique Gold/green pally transmog I made, and nothing else quite matches it right. And I have a bit of a shortage on flying mounts, and Ill always take another one, especially ones I rarely see like these. Been too long since I had done skyguard at all, and I didn't know about the offerings.

It seems like there are two general schools of thought on getting this rep. (My personal preference is method 2 and I will explain why.)

1 - As this helpful and very informative guides suggests: Concentrate all your effort on the quests and rep gains in the Terokkar Forest zone. Specifically those found in and around Skettis.

2 - Wait on the quests in Skettis and first do the quests in Blade's Edge Mountains. Because some of the quests here reward both Sha'tari Skyguard and Ogri'la rep. Specifically those found in and around Ogri'la. You do have to be at least at lvl 70 in order to obtain these quests. ~~I suggest not going much past that because of Wrangle More Aether Rays! which requires a player to weaken NOT kill Aether Rays for capture. Level 80 or higher, you will kill them in one blow.~~

Edit: Now you only have to lasso the rays, not weaken them. This can be done at full strength (even lvl 100.) Kudos Blizzard for changing that part of the quest! (Now please, I beg of you Blizzard, look into other quests that require the "weakening" but not killing of mobs.) I hate having to commit suicide in oder to get rez sickness just to complete a quest.

If you are ONLY interested in rep for Sha'tari Skyguard and NEVER want rep with Ogri'la then by all means use method 1. However, if you want to obtain exalted status with BOTH factions then method 2 is the way to go.

All that being said Ogri'la is a long grind. (Some find it not so fun.) It takes A LOT of time in the form of daily quests. But you might as well get double credit, so to speak, if you plan on getting both of these reps to exalted.

After pounding my head against my desk repeatedly trying to figure out what to do with the Time Lost Scrolls (duh), I came here and found this amazing guide. I went from neutral to revered in a matter of a few hours and it only took that long because life kept intruding. The quest for the Tokens of the Decendants/Time-Lost Offering does have one little quirk though. I somehow wound up with several of the offerings in my bags at once and luckily was able to kill time between the skull pile respawning by basically killing anything that moved. A warning to any higher level hunters, either dismiss your pet or put it on passive or you don't get loot/rep for the kill. Done with a level 100 BM hunter. Thanks sooooo much for this!

Oh man, I wish I'd had this guide when I was grinding mine out. It took forever back in 2009 -- back then, I thought the summons for Terrok were a once-daily thing. When I think of how much time it took... *facepalm*

I, unfortunately, am unable to follow this guide for one simple reason: this quest will NOT show up for me.
Tokens of the Descendants/tokens-of-the-descendants

I got Akkarai's Talons, Gezzarak's Claws, Karrog's Spine, and Vakkiz's Scale, but there's no option to turn them in to Hazzik. It says that it's supposed to be a repeatable quest, but I haven't even gotten it to show up. How do I get it to show? D:

Did this in about 4 hours while in a group of on average 3 people. If you group up the rep is shared between all party members and if you set it to free for all then it works out. Everyone moves to where someone is summoning for 100 rep and then everyone moves to center for the 500 rep boss every 15mins. Very efficient and fun time.

REMEMBER: If you're done or don't want to farm this, YOU CAN AUCTION THE ITEMS NEEDED. The greens, scrolls, dusts, and the offering. It's definitely worth checking out the AH, and putting them up there if you have unneeded items. You can make some people really happy with it!

I did this today. With the Darkmoon buff, it took me exactly 2 hours to go from 4k friendly to exalted. Note: I picked up a friend just after I hit revered, and it was faster as you share the rep and the loot. Well worth the 2 hour grind for 5 mounts!

Awesome guide! I was able to grind out this rep during Darkmoon Faire in about 3 hours from neutral (0) to exalted.
Got my five Nether Rays and happy to mark another rep off the list to "the Esteemed" Title!
A quick note to add, you can buy most of the items for this grind from the AH if you prefer to do it that way. Farming everything yourself is easy but it's an options should you choose.

The guide does what it promises. I envied these mounts in TBC but lacked the patience to get them. Glad you made a guide to inform me there's a farmable way to do this that a more patient me was able to do in about 3-3.5 hours.
