One rare spawns in the zone every 20 mins. Rares appears to be in a non repeating rotation. Same rare drops loot multiple times per day.

Comment by gachigasmirl

Seems like they might have an order in which they spawn, at least so far I haven't seen one repeat out of order and every time the spawns have been exactly at the 20 minutes mark from the last

Order I've noticed so far in Naigtal is
Slaipaan > Interminable Uarn > Lomelith > Indomitable Mk XII > Warbringer Thal'kuur > Warp Agent Xi'grivr > Auredar > Broxion > Swalewing Matriarch

Voidwarped Sporebat seems to be a rare that spawns randomly and pretty often, however it is not required for the achievement so I have not paid attention to whether it is also every 20 minutes and is just separate from the rotation

Edit: Seems like order is not fixed, rotation started again and first 3 were the same, however Auredar spawned instead of Indomitable MK XII. I assume it's random then, no clue. Still 20 minutes spawns tho

Comment by Saroff2k

A rare spawns in the zone every 20 minutes with a red yell indicating it in the chat: "Scouts have reported a dangerous enemy has been spotted. Take it out!"

The rares spawn in 3 different groups, with each following the same rotation of rare spawns:

!Group spawned is RANDOM (e.g. 1>2>1>3)!

1: Indomitable Mk XII > Warbringer Thal'kuur > Warp Agent Xi'grivr (These ones spawned in this exact order)

2: Auredar > Broxion > Swalewing Matriarch

3: Slaipaan > Interminable Uarn > Lomelith

I will update the comment as I learn more about the spawns, let me know if I've missed anything or if something's wrong!

Anyone not getting credit for any of the rares?

Comment by Pihalecsmrti

As of 19.06.2026 for EU, this achievment got much easier to complete, since the rares get a 3 min immunity buff before they are engaged in combat. This means, that you can pretty much reach them from every point of the island.

Comment by Neevitwitch

As it seems you will phase to normal world tier as soon as you die. costed me two rares before i noticed

Voidwarped Sporebat is not needed for Heroic Slugger

Comment by Oneirogos

Val rares work the same as Naigtal rares. Roughly 20 minutes between spawns.

They spawn in 3 separate groups. Each group can spawn at random, but will not repeat the same group immediately. Once a group spawns, it will go in the exact order of the group.

Group 1. Xirah, Sleet-Rune, Atomas
Group 2. Krilkan, Glacial Broodmother, Mercilus
Group 3. The Horror Below, Opprimius, Nelgothar

There is also the Shadowguard destroyer, but it didn't seem to be in the rotation, and I somehow have credit for killing it at some point. Maybe it's the Val version of that stupid bat in Naigtai.

Comment by Poggywoggy

The most recent hotfix changed the spawn rate of rares in new zones from 20 to 15 minutes - source.

Comment by Facethievery1

I strongly recommend joining or making your own heroic rare farm group in LFG for this achievement.
