Can you only battle the trainers once per day? This is happening to me unless I'm doing something wrong...

Im alittle bit confused. I completed one achievment in eastern kingdoms undead and then i went to kalimdor and i cant seem to start any pet battle from the masters. Dont tell me you are only allowed to do 1 achievment out of 20 eastern kingdom/kalimdor per day? If this is intended then that is some new level of timegating

Report sent: "Dreadful downside to the EK & Kalimdor Family Battler achievements. Besides the reward , but.. now the low lvl trainers that helped introduce player to battle pets, will out level the teams that helped to lvl up the pets. If you have a team of lvl 1's, the trainer's will be lvl 1's, but If you have a lvl 25, lvl 1 & a lvl 1.. the training team will be all lvl 25's. This isn't iterating, this is demolishing a player base."

And yes, these trainers have always been on a daily lockout.
The upside, is that you can get major experience/guild rep for leveling alts;
However, if you're only focus is to knock things out, back-to-back like we can on previous Family Battler Achievement's, then sadly we are stuck with a minimum 10 day run :/

I love that we have some new achievements, new rewards and get to visit older content! The fact you cant just farm out the achievement is a positive as well - not everything has to be a microwave <3 Enjoy! Also the XP is GREAT! I am running out of alts.

These trainers+quests actually give decent XP I recommend using a non lv90 to do these battles

DO NOT TRY AND FIGHT AN NPC WITHOUT A FULLY HEALED/ALIVE TEAM!

They're all fairly easy, my first battle pet fainted the fight previously, I had no bandages and heal was on CD so I was just like okay whatever I'm sure it'll be fine.

Defeated the NPC, didn't count for the achievement and daily quest was gone meaning I couldn't redo the battle.

I found this to be extremely confusing, so here's the TL;DR so you don't have to figure this out yourself:

First, acquire 3 level 25 Battle Pets from each Battle Pet Family (10 families x 3 team slots = 30 pets total). The goal is to go fight all the Tamers in Eastern Kingdoms (12) and Kalimdor (12), with teams consisting of solely of one of every Battle Pet Family. That means 240 battles across 10 days.

On Alliance, go to Audrey Burnhep. On Horde (Kalimdor), go to Varzok, and pick up their quest for Eastern Kingdoms/Kalimdor respectively. It is at this point that you will quickly find out whether you've tried the Battle Pet quests, because either there'll be a quest there, or there won't.

If there is, awesome. Go do it, make sure all of the Battle Pets in your team is of just 1 party, and use them for all of the battles. Also, be sure to HEAL after every fight (a bug may prevent you from getting achievement credit if you complete a Battle having started below max HP, meanwhile quest credit will still go through).

If there is NOT a quest, things get problematic. See, Part 1 of the questline is all breadcrumbs, and that's because they're faction specific. So, it's possible that you started it, and didn't finish, which means you need to go track down the NPC you left off on. Once you do, you can complete the questline, and should definitely go back to fight the first few guys, since it's unlikely that you had a team that qualified for achievement credit all those years ago.

After doing the quest-by-quest to beat each individual Tamer, you then automatically get the quest to fight the 2nd half, which just lists all of the remaining ones. And once you do that, you fight 1 last person, and after defeating them, the Daily Quest version will show up for them (and everyone else). At this point, you are free to do it all AGAIN as Daily Quests. Make sure to change your team to a different Pet Family. If you can successfully do this on both factions, then congratulations, you now have 8 days to go instead of 9, since you battled everybody twice instead of once.
